I’ve been using this in a utility room to temporarily power a dishwasher and tumble dryer and it’s been great. It looks good and has a separate on/off switch meaning I don’t need to reach across to the socket if switching multiple extension sockets off. It also has an RCD style cut off which can be reset via a simple push button on the extension meaning there is overload protection built in. For the price, I’d say this is fantastic value for money.
Very happy with this – the 3m cable length is excellent; I have only one spare plug socket in my room that’s in a strange place, so whenever I need to use the robovac, power the clothes drier, or charge my tablet, it results in cables hanging over sofas, but not any more!
I’m no expert when it comes to plug sockets / extension leads etc. but it’s nice to know that it’s got it’s own fuse protection, and a power switch of it’s own – very handy, no more reaching over sofas to turn off the entire strip!
The design is great, looks very smart and the two tone colour allows it to blend in with most room designs.
For those that like to mount extension leads to the side of their desk, it unfortunately does not have any mounting holes so you’ll need to find another solution if that’s something you absolutely need. I never mount extension leads so this isn’t an issue for me.
