I can sometimes struggle to get to the corners of my windscreen, when cleaning or wiping away condensation but not any more with this handy gadget. Whilst it is compact enough to use as it is, the handle extends an extra 6 inches or so to enable it to get into the windscreen corners or at the front by the dash board.
The cleaning head is roughly triangular so can cover a good area in one swipe but also has the ability to get into the corners. It is also rotates up and down on the handle which makes adjusting to different angles of cleaning easier. The kit comes with five cloths that are elasticated and fit over the cleaning head.. They are made from a fine towelling like material that is very absorbent and lint free when used. I also like that the kit comes with two small empty spray bottles that can be filled with your window cleaning product of choice. The brush folds flat and can easily be popped in the inside of the car door or in a boot caddy for use s needed.
The kit also comes with a small three pronged tool for cleaning the louvered air vents that has its own flannel cloth cover and a plastic soft bristle brush at the other. A very useful addition to enable dust removal in what can be a difficult place to access with normal cleaning cloths or brushes. In my opinion this is one of those gadgets that although not a necessity will make demisting and/or cleaning the windscreen easier.
A decent kit with a lot in it. You get a telescopic triangular brush/pad with spare covers, two empty spray bottles and a vent cleaner.
The telescopic brush is essential if you’ve a car with a windscreen that’s very raked and hard to reach. My wife’s Ford Kuga sometimes mists up when she leaves wet boots in the car, and the heated windscreen takes a while to get it clear. This brush sucks up heavy droplets of water and gets the screen clearer faster.
It’s also great for removing dust and smears on the inside, working well. The spray bottles can have isopropyl alcohol or something in them to help clean windscreens of marks.
Collapses down to fit in the door pocket. Very good value for such a useful device.
