I really like this motorcycle GPS screen thing. The mount fits perfectly on my BMW bike, which means it was easy to install, and it feels pretty secure. The wireless Car Play is great, and lets me access stuff like navigation, music, and calls easily and without too much distraction.
The build quality is pretty good too. It comes with a handlebar mount bracket, with a good amount of adjustment available, as well as thr BMW specific bracket I am using. All parts feel sturdy in the hand, and have not had any issues at all with them.
The instructions are a bit of a mess though, so unless you are tech minded it might be a bit of a struggle to set up. But the OS is simple enough to use once its all going, so maybe not.
Overall very impressed.
The Carplay installation process was easier for me than I first thought.
When I saw the many accessories, I was a little scared, but everything was fine.
I really like that the monitor can be easily removed after installation. This is useful if you have to stop somewhere and leave your motorcycle there.
I found that it was designed to fit most models.
It was also easy to connect to the phone.
It handles and displays the gps application well. Really useful.
Carplay communication and data transfer are accurate and fast.
As described, it is waterproof and handles weather conditions well.
Durable, just as a motorcycle should be.
I can’t write anything negative, this product is good as it is.
Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Well I’m really impressed with this motorcycle GPS screen. The custom mount fits perfectly on my bike, making it easy to install and secure. The wireless Car Play and Android Auto features are incredibly handy, allowing me to access navigation, music, and calls without distraction. The waterproof touchscreen works great in all weather conditions, and the dual Bluetooth allows me to stay connected while on the go. It’s a fantastic upgrade for any motorbike, enhancing both safety and convenience on long rides. Overall, it’s a must-have for any motorcycle enthusiast.
This is such a life saver , it works best for when I need the satnav in rainy weather , the water doesn’t really steam or bead on the screen which doesn’t block visibility , it protects from rain also so any devise that isn’t waterproof isn’t damaged. Good little gadge
I’m absolutely loving this device. It provides a massive upgrade to either a motorcycle or could even be used with an e-Bike. The display is a nice size at 5″ and the resolution looks good. The touchscreen is reasonably responsive, but not quite as good as I’m used to from my experience with modern phones. Still totally useable though, so no major issues here.
Sound is sent via Bluetooth to a compatible headset or earphones
CarPlay and Android Auto are delivered wirelessly, which is so convenient. Simply start your bike or apply power to the device and the screen springs to life, and you’re greeted with your CarPlay or Android Auto screens within a few seconds, all with your phone still in your pocket!
The build quality is generally very good. The kit is supplied with a handlebar mount adjustable bracket, with a good amount of adjustment available, as well as a BMW specific bracket. All seem to be of good quality.
Overall, I can’t recommend this kit enough.
This particular version of the Carpuride was made to fit on a BMW Motocycle but I will at a later date remove the fixing bracket and use it elsewhere.
For those unfamiliar with these devices basically it Connects to your Mobile Phone via Wifi and Bluetooth and displays on it’s screen your GPS position using Mapping.
You can also use it to make & receive Phone Calls or play Music plus many other things are possible using the Touch Screen.
So why not just use your Phone ? This Device is sturdier than a Phone and can be permanently fixed to your Bikes Bars, the Screen is brighter than a Mobile’s and it stays on all of the time.
It can be powered by a 12v Supply or with 5v via a Voltage Booster which is included making it extremely versatile. It can use both Android or iOS and is completely weatherproof throughout.
I should point out that although I have read it cannot be used with a Samsung ‘S’ Series Cellphone I can safely say it works perfectly well with those Mobiles.
I intend eventually to fit it to my E-bike that I use a lot using the 5v Booster to give the required 12v to run it.
This is one great Gadget that’s worthy of 10 Stars if it were possible ! Get yourself one.
Fitting this is a breeze. Great compatibility with not only BMW but any motorbike by simply removing the bracket on the back which is very simple to do
Bluetooth connectivity is great, connects with no issues.
The 5 inch screen is clear and easy to see. Good brightness and durability.
I got this for my brother who has a BMW bike. He found it easy to connect using the cradle that was already on his bike. He also thought it would fit other bikes too if you were quite handy with this sort of thing and knew what other attachments you would need.
The touch screen is so useful and convenient and is suitable for all weathers including rain and snow. It can easily be connected to your phone/headphones & helmet which enables you to access sat nav, calls, music and txts. The screen is 5 inches so a reasonable size without taking up too much space. The touch screen responded well and the device itself felt well made. This unit has dual Bluetooth connectivity so you can connect to your phone and earphones….
The touchscreen is fully waterproof and is advertised to work between temperatures of -20 c to 120 c (not tested)
There is also an sd slot on the device and whilst playing music from it you can choose from one of the preset equalizers to provide a more enjoyable music sound suited to you.
This screen is reasonably priced for the quality and features it provides and makes motorcycle journeys even more enjoyable.
One word – GODSEND
Comes already fitted with a BMW nav plate but this is easily removed (remove the 4 small black screws and the 1 x silver screw) and replaced with the ball joint provided. Comes with a BMW nav plate (power inclusive) but also a USB or a pre-fused power lead. A spare fuse and fixing tool are also included as is a bracket which fixes on the handlebar over the tank. The fixing arm is spring loaded, so the unit is easy to remove and place in a bag or lock box. The power cables are fitted with a water proof screw connector but again are easy to remove.
The unit is simple to set up and is compatible with Android auto or carplay – in our case we connected it to an iphone and a Fodsportd FX8. Instructions were simple and easy to understand despite the odd translate in places
Touch screen works well but we did find it much easier to use with summer riding gloves as the icon are rather small with winter gloves, you do need to tap the icons in just the right place though.
Navigation was flawless (we were using waze) the navigation instruction were clear in the earphones whet het needed to be.
And essential aid — it’s Car play for a bike and it’s fab!
This was a simple fit for my brother, well he said it was simple as he said he already had a bracket where he could simply attach this unit onto. He also had a cable that was run up to the bracket where he simply made all the connections and got the unit up and running.
He did a demo on how he managed to get this connected up to his headset via Bluetooth and then how he could connect to his mobile via Android Auto. He seems to be quite pleased with how well it interacts between the mobile and his headset. Audio quality is great, no lag and there’s no lag in how it responds to your touch on the screen. As it’s waterproof, it’s much better than what he had before which failed to respond correctly when wet.
The interface is quite intuitive and easy to use and if angled correctly, you will be able to see the screen without any glare.
This is just what my son has been looking for. He’s got an R3 and with a bit of adjustment, managed to fit this onto his bike.
Routing the cables was a bit of a challenge on the bike as you don’t have trims throughout where you can simply tuck the wires into. Once hooked up onto the main battery along with the plugs hooked up, it was just a case of navigating around the touch screen.
Main thing is that it’s not locked down to just a BMW, but you may have some challenges based on what bike you may have around attaching to your brackets. He’s not taken this out in the rain yet to see how well it performs in the wet, but touch screen response is great and pairing to your Bluetooth headset in the helmet was quick.
This beats having your mobile phone on your handlebars whilst riding, much safer with a bigger screen where you can actually see your mobile phone apps via android auto.
Once he’s taken this out in the wet, we’ll be able to see the performance and if it doesn’t work as expected, I’ll come back and provide an update.
The advantage of having this Apple CarPlay capable screen is that as opposed to putting my phone into a stand, this is much sturdier and not as likely to be snatched off.
It arrives with everything you need to install it and all packaged very well against any knocks.
I had a friend of mine put this onto the bike as he is a mechanic but then he did say it was pretty simple to do so.
Once it is hooked up it is very easy to connect my iPhone via bluetooth and then have my AirPods connected to either my phone or the Carpuride directly.
Super handy when using the maps and call functions amongst other things
Nice clear screen too
I bought the BMW version and it literally fits straight into the nav cradle, lock it in position, easy Bluetooth pairing, select audio output and it’s ready. It took about 5 minutes. Online vids suggest pair it to your phone but leave your helmet speakers paired to your phone rather than the unit. Sound is louder and clearer.
Fantastic produc
I had seen these sort of things before so i thought it best to get one after all and i am so glad i did. I have a BMW R1200s and fitting it was a breeze. However i did have a play and found out that it can be modified to fit most bikes.
Firstly i like the Bluetooth interaction that connected without issue. Now i can already do that with my mobile however it was good to see it connect to this so i can do things on the screen and hear what is going on.
The 5 inch screen is pretty easy to see. I haven’t tried it yet on a really sunny day as the weather in the UK hasn’t been it’s best but i think it should be fine.
The interaction works well and i can use the functions whilst out and about and the clarity is pretty good coming through to my helmet too so overall i’m pleased.
Once you get around the oddly translated instructions, this device is amazing! Despite being advertised for the BMW R1200 and S1000, you could hook this up to almost any motorbike. I have set it up on my Harley Davidson Fatboy. You just need to take off the rear attachment (specific for the BMW) and use the ball joint connector (included in the box) to attache it to your bars. I used an SAE plug connected to the supplied fuse spur, and used my battery tender cable for power. Easy to just unplug when i need to put the battery tender back on.
The OS is easy and simple to use. Audio can either be a direct connection from the display to your headphones, or via Iplay/auto which is basically from your phone to headphone with the screen being a remote.
The device its self feels well made, and the screen is easy to see when riding. Touch sensitivity is as expected, and its small enough to not be too obtrusive.
Really chuffed with this, and looking forward to a long ride.
