Having used both Garmin and Fitbit watches in the past, this has qualities that makes it better than both.

The last Garmin I had I couldn’t get the GPS to work for love nor money which isn’t the case here, although it does take a while to connect it will do eventually. The sleep tracking is also better than Garmin as it will automatically track sleep at any time of the day so any afternoon naps will also be logged and it seems to be pretty accurate.

What it’s got over Fitbit is a simple, clean user interface, no features behind a pay wall and minimal connection issues. I usually have to open the app first thing as, with the CMF Watch, the connection seems to drop overnight. However, you just open the app and it connects, whereas I had connection issues with my Fitbit about once a week which usually ended in me having to restart my phone.

Overall, it’s got an excellent user interface with lots of watch face options and great battery life and it was half the price of the Fitbit Charge 6 which is there other watch I was considering. It’s also getting frequent updates which seem to be fixing any teething issues (the weather temperature forecast was originally way off but the latest update has fixed that)

I liked how many features this watch has for the price. On the right settings it takes measurements for everything every half hour and they seem accurate enough. The app is good but you’d do well to turn off automatic battery management for it and let it run in the background or it might not sync correctly with the watch. It was too limited for me though, like you can only reply to messages with standard replies rather than type a reply and it doesn’t show emojis in notifications just a little square. I’ve given it to my son while I research another to try. The strap is stiff too. Not uncomfortable but definitely not as flexible as other straps. The branding etched into the bezel looks like scratches which is slightly annoying.

I bought the original for my father and was quietly impressed by this budget smartwatch.
No it doesn’t have all the functionality of Apple, Pixel, or Samsung watches, but the battery life beats them all and you could buy multiple CMF Watch Pros for the cost of those others.
The display is bright and clear. The speaker while not loud is adequate. Activity and GPS tracking seems good. The build is good and light enough for an aluminium body.
The app is good, with plenty of alternative watch faces and widget options and customisation. Connection to the watch was without fuss. I’ve already performed 2 software updates through the app, so it’s clear that Nothing are maintaining and tweaking the watch, rather that just putting out a ‘finished’ product where any flaws you’ll have to live with, like cheap watches.
The only downside could be the charging cable, which is just one of those magnetic block things you put on the back, rather than a cradle, or wireless pad, but it works well, so not a problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Improves on the original CMF Watch Pro

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really like this watch, I’ve had it since launch day – but there are a couple of issues which knock it down a peg or two and mean I find myself leaving it at home occasionally rather than wearing it every day.

The silicone strap – Maybe it’s because of warm weather, but it’s been the most uncomfortable watch strap I’ve ever worn. I find it very sweaty and itchy. So much so that I tried a cheap Amazon metal alternative just to keep using the watch which has been a massive improvement. I’ve placed an order for the leather official Nothing strap so I’ll update the review with my thoughts on that when it arrives but I do wish these came in more muted colours.

Notification support – It doesn’t support RCS. While I understand this isn’t widely supported yet, it’s still annoying that certain notifications from my contacts who I use RCS with typically just don’t come through at all. I can toggle RCS support off for those people, but should I have to? Even a quick buzz to say X person has messaged would be much better than nothing at all. Whatsapp, Discord and SMS all come through fine and are easy to scroll through.

The positives definitely outweigh the negatives above though –

I’ve had to charge it only once so far which is really impressive. I’m honestly a little worried I’ll end up losing the cable as I’ll need it so infrequently. The device feels quite premium, the fancy metal it’s made of feels light but strong and the actual finish on the metal is really flawless.
The interface has been nice and quick and the display is plenty visible in all light conditions. Phone calls have worked perfectly well. Step counts and fitness metrics all seem to fall in line with other devices I’ve tried.

Overall, if you’re an Android user looking for a fairly well rounded smart watch I’d give this one a strong consideration!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor the small price of 69 this watch is amazing. It does nearly as much as my wife’s expensive Fitbit at a fraction of the price. The plus points are:-

Looks good, made of metal with a vinyl strap.
Amoled screen, looks good in all lights.
Very easy to use for a 1st time smartwatch user.
Loads of different watch faces to choose from.
    Cons:-
Says 11 day battery, but in my experience 2 to 3 days is it. But it charges quick.
The vinyl strap is a bit of a sweat magnet, but easily changeable.

All in all, it’s a good starter smartwatch for an excellent price. I’d highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 1st Smartwatch

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a watch to notify you of a message or email, not only that but you can select who you receive the messages from to the watch. Compete with a heart which is pretty accurate.
Sleep monitor, at last a watch you can wear in bed to monitor your sleep not sitting on a charger all night.
Set your goals if that’s what floats your boat.
120 sports modes to go with and automatic recognition of 5 sports.
    Bluetooth calls.
Ok so you can’t do apple pay with this watch, but that wasn’t something I did anyway or even looking for.
The best top features are …
First one has to be is the battery…wow around 11 days without charging.
Second, alot stronger than it looks.
    Third, what a great price…
    Fourth, a great looking watch.
Just a great product overall, I found a watch that does what I want it to do.
Will definitely look at more products from this company called “nothing”.

5.0 out of 5 stars Battery life......wow fantastic

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis watch is superb!! It’s stylish, lightweight and does just about everything. I didn’t think I was going to like it at first, one reason being the vibrate notification and the watch brightness. Once I’d found the settings though and readjusted them to my liking, I’m now very happy with the watch. I love the way you can talk your Google assistant through it and the watch talks back to you. I am allergic to silicone so I was so pleased that the orange (my one) and the blue watches come with a vegan leather strap. Another excellent idea. I highly recommend this watch. I have had a few smart watches, amazfit being my last one. In my opinion, this Nothing watch is by far the very best one I have had. When you first wear the watch,it doesn’t really register that much, barely counting steps, not notifying you when to stand up ect but then after an hour or so of you wearing it,it’s as though it now knows you and everything “syncs” with you. My husband’s nothing watch that he bought at the same time was the same. Please don’t think it’s faulty when you get yours. It’s not,it’s just- in my opinion- getting to know the pace of your steps, the way you move etc

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent watch!!!
