1. Crucial DDR5 desktop memory modules (UDIMMs) can reach rated speeds with Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO turned on in the UEFI/BIOS settings. Applicable for all Crucial DDR5 desktop memory (UDIMM) modules except Crucial DDR5-4800 desktop memory, which supports only Intel XMP 3.0. Based on published competitor specs for DDR5 memory as of August 2023. Altering clock frequency or voltage beyond rated speeds of 6,000MHz and timing of 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V may result in damage to computer components. Micron disclaims all liability for such damage.
2. Crucial DDR5 Pro Memory modules (UDIMMs) can only be installed in desktops/workstations built to support DDR5 DRAM, such as 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors.
3. DDR5 data rate of 6,000MHz transfers 1.88x the DDR4 data rate of 3,200MHz.
4. Comparing the true memory latency of Crucial Pro DRAM Overclocking Edition of 12ns for 6000MHz CL36 to the true memory latency of Crucial Pro DRAM Plug-and-Play edition of 16ns for 6000MHz CL48. 12ns is 25% lower than 16ns of true memory latency.
5. Under memory-intensive workloads, DDR5 can deliver up to 2x the bandwidth, per an internal simulation of dual ranked x8 modules in client platforms.
6. DDR5 modules (DIMMs) introduce voltage regulation on the module through a power management integrated circuit (PMIC), which enables better power regulation and reduces the scope of DRAM power delivery network (PDN) management on the motherboard for increased efficiency.
7. On-die ECC (ODECC) is a feature of the DDR5 component specification and should not be confused with the module-level ECC features on server and workstation RDIMMs, LRDIMMs, ECC UDIMMs and ECC. Crucial DDR5 Memory includes ODECC but does not include the additional components necessary for system level ECC.
8. Densities are defined by JEDEC for the life of the DDR5 generation of memory.
9. Valid everywhere except Austria, Belgium, France and Germany, where certification is valid for ten years from the date of purchase. DRAM components and modules are rated for 6,000MHz 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V. Altering the module’s clock frequency, speed, timings or voltage beyond its specifications may damage system components. Micron disclaims all liability for damage caused by overclocking beyond 6,000MHz 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V. Please check your CPU and motherboard manuals for their certification information when overclocking.

excellent value. plug and play, no issues getting it to run on a x670 aorus elite ax with a Ryzen 9 7900x just be sure to update your bios. I was able to get to reach 6000 mt speeds, tested on windows mem tests no problem
if your wanting allot of RAM which is fast and stable, this is perfect. 5600mhz is more than enough speed, have 96GB in just 2 sticks means your motherboard will thank you and its cheaper than buying 4 sticks of RAM.
I normally use Corsair but this was on special and I give it a go on one of my builds.
Worked perfect and XMP worked perfect as well so all good so far.
I would use agai
I didnt want RGB modules as i think too much is overkill these look amazing in my monochrome build being white and subtle without the lighting. Work fine with AMD EXPO and do as they are supposed to.
Hi
For those wondering if this memory runs at 5600 it does. I bought dell ram which defaulted to 4800 and couldn’t enable xmp overclocking in the bios
I just installed this Ram and bios and task manager state its running at 5600
Great value for money, no problems with installation, running at rated speed. I’ve now bought another set and system had no problems. Don’t think I’ll ever use 96GB but it’s nice to have at the price.
Ordered these for the Asus Maximus HERO Z690 system, The Crucial page shows it’s supported, however, when installed, the system wouldn’t post, and showed error code 53 on the motherboard which is for a memory error. Tried all slots in 1 or 2 module configurations and it kept showing the same error. I have two other kits on me and both work fine, so either this kit is incompatible after all or dead on arrival. Some research found out the DDR5 can be hit and miss, to be on the safe side, make sure it’s on the motherboard’s QVL list or don’t bother as the memory manufacturer page doesn’t show the real compatibility, it’s just based on the theoretical spec sheet.
Updated.
My fault initially, Asus had released a BIOS update with added DDR5 module support on 22.03.2024, didn’t realise there was such a recent update, and after installing it, the motherboard recognized the kits and worked great with it.
So for anyone looking to upgrade, make sure your motherboard has the latest BIOS before installing this kit. For Crucial, would be nice if they added this on their product page, a note that their kit might not be compatible with earlier DDR5 boards out of the box and a BIOS update might be needed for it to run.
I upgraded from my Corsair Vengence 2×16 GB DRR5 RAM sticks to these, and after installation the Operating System was not booting, even though my PC was powering up. I even tried all the slots and ram combinations, yet still nothing. My pc seems to be only responding to my previous RAM installation, so after some searching online, I thought that I had a defective product. However when I got a replacement, the same thing was happening.
It turns out that the RAM is not defective, it’s just the BIOS settings needed to be reset back to their factory defaults. Which is kind of a nuisance, and not such a user friendly experience.
If you encounter the same problem as me, be sure that is not the RAM sticks at fault, so here is what you are going to do:
1) Consult your motherboard manual and find the JBALT pins to reset your CMOS.
2) Power Off and remove any cables into your PC, including the power cable and the power switch that it comes with your PSU
3) For 30-seconds, hit the Power Button down, from your front panel, where you normally power on and off your PC, to make sure there is no remaining power inside (I don’t know if that is a valid requirement, that’s what others advised me to do online, but better be safe)
4) Get a Screwdriver (Or if you have a jumper cable, because that is the recommended device to use for this instance, but i didn’t have one) and make sure it makes contact with your JBALT pins and hold it for 5-10 seconds (for reference, I have an MSI B650-P WIFI motherboard, and it is located at the bottom right side of it, where there are a row of pins) so it will discharge.
5) Connect everything back together and try booting your PC back again
After all that, you will be greeted with a fresh bios boot window and you can access your OS again, without losing any files or data.
Afterwards I checked Task Manager and it recognised my 2x24GB DDR5 Crucial Pro Ram sticks at 5200Mhz, so I need to enable XMP profile and manually adjust the speed to 5600 Mhz, to get the advertised maximum speeds.
Overall, these RAM sticks will be perfect for my needs, for working with intense compuational tasks for my work, projects, and gaming on the side, and the price for them seems fair for what they promise.
