Been looking at the these units for a while and decided to go for it. For the price this is an awesome piece of kit. No screen lag, loads of custom features, easy to set up and works flawless. Will buy another for wife’s car. Well worth i
This CarPlay screen is working great for me in an older car. Installation was quick and easier than expected. The screen is high resolution so everything is sharp and easy to read. Wireless CarPlay is also great so you don’t need a cable. The built in dashcam works well and was easy to get setup by inserting a micro sd card. Also includes a reversing camera which is also easier than expected to install.
This 4K front dash cam with wireless Apple CarPlay builtin is just what I needed for my old VW Gulf.
It has a lovely bright 9in touchscreen screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution which I can pair with my iPhone to display and access navigation, calls, messages, music etc without have to touch my phone. Game changer for me frankly primary for navigation.
The CarPlay feature in itself is awesome but lets not forget that this also includes a 4K front dash cam and 1080P waterproof backup cam offering a really great 170 wide-angle view, capable of capturing number plates clearly with loop recording, to ensure continuous recording and lets not forget it comes along with a 64GB memory card. Joy of joys this is awesome!
Frankly I could not be more pleased as it feels like my old car which did not come with CarPlay has had a major upgrade. Also I have a bit more peace of mind while driving on the road knowing I’m safe guarded to a degree against other drivers with the 4K dash cam.
I bought this for my ford fiesta and it’s perfect. Very easy to set up and very accessible. There’s no hassle trying to get it to work. Each time I go in my car it connects to my phone automatically and I can access my playlists, phone calls, google maps etc. I would highly recommend this to everyone!
This replaces another system that I have been using with Android Auto. It works at least as well in all functions, but the clarity of the screen absolutely blows my other unit away. Amazing clarity, responsive touch-screen. Since I already had a backup camera, I hadn’t intended to use this one, but after a quick bench-test, decided to wire it up and now much prefer it! Sound from the built-in speakers is too low; you will want to have it connect to external speakers (wired or bluetooth to car radio). It does get warm, but not dangerously hot.
I’ve recently bought a Freelander 2 and obviously it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles my 22 plate car has. Rather than changing the cars original unit i decided to purchase this for ease.
This mirrors my Android phone brilliantly meaning I can use Google maps rather than paying to update my cars built in Sat nav system. As you can see, I’m also able to access Amazon music, as well as use several other screens at the same time.
Hubby fitted the reversing camera and the quality is absolutely fantastic, clear as crystal. For the price I paid I’m thrilled with it. It’s added a wee bit of modern luxury to an older ca
I always wanted to have a nice screen in the car, but I like my older car, so I did not want to replace it with a newer version.
I found a wider size to not reduce the view much, and so far, I am happy with it. Connect to phone easily. I especially like the music playing with it ( audio cable provided ). The camera is of nice quality, so it replaces the Dask cam. I have not fitted the back camera yet but I plan to..
I recently bought this car and there was no space to put my phone in a comfortable manner and still drive since the car had no Android Auto. I started to look at prices of how much it would have costed me to set a new entertainment system when I found this car tablet that saved me hundreds of pounds and made my driving experience much more enjoyable.
The quality is great and it took me only 3 minutes to install. I personally use Android auto and it didn’t disappoint. It’s reactive and it has a nice display which I can still see perfectly on a very sunny day.
Quick and easy to install and working great, seems such good quality and value for money, large display, sounds great, connects to the car very quickly, really like the light-sensitive display and adjusts automatically to different lighting conditions, great multi adjustable bracket makes it easy to fit anywhere in the van or car, would certainly recommend…
I have something similar in my car so got this for my husband as he always tries to use his phone as a satnav and the screen is so tiny. this hooks up so easily through blue tooth then plays google maps from your phone. Much better screen size and saves you squinting.
It comes with a camera so it’s dual purpose and means you don’t need loads of different devices all plugged into your car. Alot less wires and cables looping around your car. Makes for a super gift!
We bought this for our daughter so she could play her own music off her phone and have a camera at the same time. It hasn’t disappointed at all. So easy to set up. The only problem we found we had to run a wire through her glove box as that’s were the aux plugged in to her car but isn’t hard to do. She loves it. Great value for money brilliant sound both on its own and through her speakers.
Wow, what a really good product at an excellent price. There is one set-up/use issue that you need to be aware of. The device initially connects via Bluetooth and then uses this to set up a WiFi connection (at least that is what I think is going on.) This means that the device will NOT work when parked in your drive and your phone is connected to your house WiFi. It is only when you drive down the road and lose the home WiFi that the device starts working. If you try to get it to work while parked on the drive, you may experience connection problems… I did/do…
Driving with this setup has turned every journey into a cinematic adventure. The HD display is exceptionally clear, making navigation with Google Maps a genuine pleasure. Setting things up was a bit tricky at first, but once sorted, the connection via Bluetooth was stable, and it pairs smoothly every time I start the car. My favourite feature has to be the 170-degree wide-angle view from the backup camera; parking in tight spots around Manchester has become so much simpler.
However, it does get quite warm during long trips, which is a bit concerning for longevity. The sound quality through the FM transmitter isn’t the best, there’s a bit of static. But connecting it to the car’s Bluetooth solved that issue. With the easy screen casting from my mobile and solid front dash cam, it’s clear this has become an indispensable part of my drives, ensuring both convenience and safety.
Overall I really like this item. CarPlay and Waze on this screen is very helpful as are the cameras. Rear camera installation can be a bit complicated and recommended if you like diy. It has transformed our old car. We noticed if it is very hot and in direct summer sunlight there can be some glitching sometimes especially if you’re trying to have e.g navigation and music from apple car play. This doesn’t seem to be a problem in more normal temperatures.
This dashcam is better. I like it very much because it has a large display screen. It is very convenient. It can clearly see the situation behind the car and record the situation in front and behind the car.
