Nice little bullet-ice make
This is a good little ice maker. Its rather productive for its size. The machine itself runs quiet (a little quieter than a microwave or air fryer.) However, when it drops ice every 6 minutes or so is kind of loud. It sound like someone dropping ice cubes on the floor. Once the ice maker arrives, keep it upright for 24 hours before you use it.
Excellent product, bought this for 60 odd quid, exactly same machine going for 110 and 80 odd but different name.
This is doing the job brilliantly, saving money not buying ready made bags of ice and have got a freezer drawer back! Easy to use and self-cleaning too. Very much recommended.
I’ve been using this EUHOMY countertop ice maker for a little while now, and overall I’m really pleased with it — but it’s not completely perfect, so worth knowing the pros and cons before buying.
What I liked
The biggest positive is how quick it is. It genuinely starts producing ice in around 6 minutes, which makes a big difference compared to waiting on freezer trays. If you’re having a few drinks or people over, it keeps up pretty well as long as you stay on top of emptying the basket.
It’s also very easy to use — just fill it with water, press a button, and that’s it. The self-cleaning function is a nice touch and saves a bit of hassle.
The machine itself is compact and portable, so it doesn’t take up much counter space, and the noise level is reasonable — about what you’d expect from a small appliance (similar to a quiet fridge).
What could be better
The main limitation is that it doesn’t keep ice frozen, so if you leave it sitting, the ice will eventually melt and recycle back into the machine. That’s normal for this type of product, but something to be aware of if you’re expecting a freezer-like setup.
The water tank isn’t huge, so you do need to refill it fairly regularly if you’re using it heavily. Also, if you don’t empty the ice basket often, the cubes can clump together a bit.
Overall
For the price, this is a really good, practical ice maker. It’s ideal if you regularly want fresh ice quickly without planning ahead. Just don’t expect long-term storage — it’s more about convenience and speed.
Would I recommend it? Yes — especially for home use, drinks, or small gatherings.
Fantastic gadget to keep the ice following. It think it could be a little quieter but it works really well. Note to self don’t leave water sitting in there when your done as it stains the buckets
Good quality and not super loud.
Easy to work and so far reliable. Have been using for over a month and the whole family is very happy with this purchase. Good quality and not loud, only when filling water and the ice drops and its only a few moments each time.
At home we have a SAMSUNG fridge freezer (costing over 2,500) which has a built in ice machine. It always goes wrong getting jammed up with frost and ice. It takes all night to generate sufficient ice for the icemaker. SAMSUNG have been out at least 10 times and have replaced the whole refrigerator four times.
When my son moved into his new flat she bought him one of your machines. I was staggered how quickly it generates ice. He has now used it for nearly six months. Bagging up excess ice and storing them in his freezer. No problems whatsoever. I am envious of how good this device is.
For all of the complainers I suggest that you buy an expensive SAMSUNG fridge freezer with an ice machine and that will give you a memorable experience to complain about.
Your product is exceptional.
Makes a lot of ice in not a lot of time
Very easy to use, and it makes a lot of ice in a short time. The first few batches it makes won’t be great while the cooling system chills, so let them stay and melt back into the water. After that they’re perfect! Don’t let the cubes sit too long as this thing isn’t a freezer; put them into your own freezer after every couple of cycles. They’ll be a little wet and will want to clump together, so be sure to shake them around in your container every time you add cubes. An ice pick is highly recommended. It’s quiet enough that we often forget it’s running, at least until we hear it dump a fresh batch of ice into the tray. We use it regularly and it’s always worked well. Highly recommended!
A very efficient little ice maker. When filled to the mark it makes an extensive amount of ice to easily fill an ice bucket.
My only issue would be that when it says add water there is actually 300ml (over half pint) of water left that would make at least 18 to 27 more small ice cubes. It also means that after every use you need to drain the unit as that is far to much water to leave in the machine for a couple of days.
Several pros, one con!
makes decent quality ice quickly
Makes nice, clear ice fairly quickly. 24 cubes every 15 minutes or so depending on ambient temperature.
Please note, this model doesn’t reward you putting ice in the water reservoir in an attempt to pre-cool the water for ice production. The water exits the dispenser as slush, labours the pump, and messes up the ice formation. You can put chilled water in with no issue, but don’t put ice in. If you want thicker cubes on the first couple of batches, you can increase the time spent forming ice up to an additional 6 minutes using the controls on the front of the device.
Awesome Ice Make
It arrived packaged well. Set up was easy. Once it was operating it never runs out of ice. Just top up the water and you’re good to go. It does make a bit of a hum when running but no different than any other Ice maker. Highly recommend.
Worth it's weight in Ice!!
Before buying this beauty our family had two bullet style machines, which couldn’t keep up with demand. Now their is no problem. Low noise, good size reservoir and ice basket.
I bought one of these machines and I’m very impressed, half kg of ice an hour, perfect size for any kitchen, great for the summer and for those whom have no American freeze, great to bag the ice and put it away into a bigger freezer, I’d highly recommend
My last one, a different brand, lasted around 10 months of constant use. This one sounds more solid, you can hear solenoids clicking in, it sounds positive, solid and well built. The first batch of ice looked really poor and small, but the second and subsequent ones are perfect. It comes well protected, complete with a very detailed instruction booklet, in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian, no Chinglish, very easy to read and understand, with no bits that you can’t understand. There’s exploded diagrams, the lot. Plus there’s a Troubleshooting leaflet. The supplied ice shovel feels strong enough. The warranty is one year, done on the website, you do need the order number. One button operation, with a power light, ice full and add water lights. A nice metallic finish, with a clear lid makes this look more expensive than it is. You do need a minimum of 4″ space back and sides for ventilation. Well worth the money, hopefully it will last longer than the other make! There’s a blue protective film on all of the silver finish casing, apart from the logo part, I left it on, as it’s not over the vents and it protects it in my motorhome, I’ll remove it when it looks a bit tatty. I would recommend it, get one ready for summer gin and tonics, no more buying ice.
