Euro Earthed to UK Converter Plug, OFOAEEA 3 Pin Converter
Euro Earthed to UK Converter Plug, OFOAEEA 3 Pin Converter Plug, 13 Amp Plug UK Fused, Pin Converters with Screwdrivers,Euro 2 Pin Earthed to UK 3 Pin Earthed (Black)
Comes with a screwdriver for installation. I used it to plug in my coffee maker, which has a European plug head. I normally use a standard travel converter. Installation was very simple and convenient. The system inside seemed very simple and safe. It worked well after installation. It did not come out or have any problems despite my efforts. It works flawlessly. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable Euro to UK plug converters
Hi, ive bought some things online and they come with the 2 pins plugs so rather than chopping the ends of these will work fine and I shouldn’t lose any warranty with them if needed, I have a couple of items like sanders and heaters and normally they do come with uk adapters, but some don’t , so a bit of a pricey item, rather than just replacing the plug but they work
I sometimes get European appliances, and have to change the plugs to UK plugs, or use them with travel adaptors. This adaptor is rather like a cross between the two: it’s a screw-on fused cover that converts the type C Euro plug to our type G three-pin UK plug. It’s also fused, and comes with a 13A fuse, but if the device you’re using it with is under 700W, you’ll need to change that for 3A.
As it happens, I have an appliance with a Euro plugs at the moment and keep fogetting to buy a UK plug to change it over, so I’ve been able to test this out. Short version: it works. The adaptor is provided with a screwdriver: there are two small screws that need undoing, then the top flips up and the Euro plug can be clipped into place.
For people who are not confident about changing a plug, this might be a better alternative, For me, it’s a useful thing to have on hand to use until I change a plug permanently. Recommended.
Great if you have kitchen devices (in my case a vacuum sealer) that you’ve bought abroad and want to use at home without chopping off the cable. Comes with a ok screwdriver to open the plug up and seal it again. The metal strips on the inside are a little flimsy so don’t put too much pressure on them as it will end up snapping and breaking. included fuse is ok and should do the job just remembering that in the eu there plugs go to 16 Amps and in the uk we go to 13 amps. but it is a great adaptor to allow EU plugs to work in the UK.
