Initially taking the device out of the box I was surprised by it’s size – it’s a whopper!
What’s not great is the length of the fixed leads that cone with it.
They’re too short to pass completely through a wall, but because the moulded plug on the RJ45 connector is so enormous, getting a junction box gland to seal would be pretty difficult.
Would be much more useful if these were long enough to go through wall completely so the connections are accessible without having a junction box on the outside wall.
Works OK, can’t find the setting to adjust sensitivity though so it goes off lots!
I am super impressed with this EZVIZ camera. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Never imagined that the vision/picture clarity & quality both night and day would be this great. All the features work as advertised even the talking/sound one which we have tested more than once. It had to be wired by an electrician
and then connected to my WiFi. I recommend it to people looking for a good quality security camera at a very affordable price. Provides my family with that extra security needed every day.
They have a really good picture quality, I have one at the Front and Back of my house, the one at the front stays colour with the starlight sensor, although there is a street light opposite my house, but the one in the back is useless as regards to the starlight sensor, colour definetly doesn’t work on a clear night but satisfied with the B/W night vision.
Main problem is the motion sensors as you can’t choose the areas that you want to monitor, so at the front whatever the camera can see it picks motion, so you get plenty of unwanted alerts if someone walks past my drive and then it uses much more card data also.

I already have 2 indoor cameras from EZVIZ which are fantastic for watching my puppy when I’m not home. I needed cameras outside front and back of the house and opted for this one so all 4 cameras would run through the same app which they do flawlessly. Compared to other brands EZVIZ cameras respond quickly and reliably.

I have bought a few of these now but this is by far the best one.You can set your preferred view on your phone and after it has moved about it automatically goes back to that view.Came quick and was easy to install.Only issue I had was trying to format the suggested 512gb SD card but I just used a smaller one and had no bother with that.Would highly recommend this budget camera.
