We purchased 2 bags to keep our car keys safe. Good delivery. Excellent quality. Our keys including bulky key fobs fit the bags. Most importantly you cannot remotely open our car doors when they are inside the bags! If you are looking for a Faraday Bag I would have no hesitation in recommending
This Faraday pouch is a vital piece of kit to prevent your keyless car fob from being cloned. Once the keys are in the pouch the signal is blocked and protected.
Products arrived quick and on schedule via Prime. Great condition. Great size for modern car key fobs with an internal chain you can secure your keys to. Blocks signal as soon as you slide fob inside, even if you are sitting in car. Great protection blocking signal. Sturdy design, well made and weatherproof so far. No complaints. Two pouches in pack so ideal if you have two car keys you want to protect.
Car doesn’t pick up the key right next to it, even if pushing the unlock button through the pouch – very impressed! Small pouches though, really only enough space for a car key, house key and small keyring.
It definitely works as if I put my key in it inside the car, the car tells me it can’t find the key and won’t start. Very handy that it has a thing to put your house key on as well and it’s fairly easy to find in your bag. Maybe a bit big for a trouser pocket if you’re male.
I had bought a few different pouches including ones from a large car specialist store that simply didn’t last. Within a couple of months you would find the pouch no longer always worked. I’ve had this pouch for 13 months and this is the first time I’ve had an issue. It still works I I’m careful closing the pouch but I’m going to replace anyway. I’m very happy as the pack contains two
My old Faraday pouch had stopped working after about 2 years (ie the lights on the car still lit up when I was close to the car) so I looked for a replacement and was thrilled to find this small pouch. It is just the same as the previous pouch but smaller. The fob fits inside neatly, the pouch stops the signal from the fob to the car, and is a much better size in my handbag. The order arrived within 24 hours (through Prime). What more could one want?
Just acquired a car with keyless entry so purchased theses to secure the keys. Simple and effective. Tested the pouch by putting the key inside and taking it up to the car and it did not unlock.
Bought these for someone else. Didn’t realise that you got 2 in a packet. Made from great quality leather and seems to protect the keys well. It’s big enough for the car key but not huge.
I turned off automatic door unlocking on
my car only to find that the drivers door would still unlock if you had the key fob with you.
Even though I already use a decent steering wheel lock I decided to give this a whirl.
Well so far it’s done it’s job and I’ve put the spare fob in the second pouch.
It seems well made and time will tell.
These pouches were a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but perfectly suitable all the same. My keys fitted inside, but were quite a tight fit, so the flap was a little bit of a stretch to close. I removed the inside chain so as not to cause any scratching on my keys, and noted that the outside carabiner type clip was quite fiddly to use as it was quite small and not very easy to open, especially when clipped to something. I did try putting my keys inside and opening the door by standing next to the car, and the pouch blocked the signal completely, preventing the door from opening, but once the key was removed from the pouch, the door opened normally, so that showed the pouch worked as expected; once inside, putting the key in the pouch prevented the car from starting, so that was perfect too. the pouches are a touch on the large side for a pocket once the key is inside it, so I just keep the keys in the pouch when they are inside the house to prevent any key code from being scanned or ‘grabbed’ remotely. I bought these because I had been keeping my car keys in a biscuit tin, thinking that was ok, but wanted better protection, and in that respect they have been spot on. good value and nice looking, I can’t complain at all, especially at the price for a pack of two.
