It fits perfectly and quality is amazing, although I wish there was a instruction manual because I was confused on why it wasn’t fitting until I realized you had to remove the cover in order to install it. And maybe that’s why there is a one star review because of that exact reason.
Once I knew I didn’t need one of the plastic parts for my slim, this went on easy as pie. It’s cheap, well made, keeps the ps5 upright and stable. What’s not to like?
I bought this for my PS5 slim as it only comes with feet for placing the console horizontal.
After installing this I can tell you it is sturdy and attaches with a screw. It also looks very similar to the official Sony product.
I have decided that I like the horizontal placement for my environment over the vertical orientation but this product does what it says and will keep the console vertical.
Product completely aligned with the description and allows ps5 to stay in vertical as promised. Unfortunately it lacks an instruction manual, so it can be a bit difficult to understand how to install if you haven’t seen the version sold by Sony before. If you are struggling to fit yours in the PlayStation, note the bottom cover detaches to adapt both the slim / normal version – you might only need to remove it.
This stand is advertised as being compatible with both PS5 and PS5 Slim. I can confirm that this fits my old first generation PS5 with disk drive like a glove. I say this because another review said it is not compatible but that is untrue as can be seen in my pictures.
The stand is a very elegant alternative to the stock stand that came with the console. But unlike the stock stand, this can only be used with the PS5 in a vertical position, so I best hang onto the stock stand in case I ever need to change the orientation of the console. It comes with a flat head fastener (no screwdriver included, so need own, although, the fastener has a large grip that can be tightened with just the thumb and index finger)
What I do agree with, is that it came with absolutely no instructions, nor a thank-you note, and the box is completely blank apart from a warehouse product sticker. This is very poor presentation for an elegant product.
But it is easy to figure out how to fit it as like I mentioned, it does fit like a glove when I got the orientation correct and the fastening hole aligns perfectly.
Despite the poor presentation and lack of instructions or a “thank you for purchasing, contact us for assistance” note, I still give this top mark for delivering a perfectly elegant alternative to the stock stand.
