I have had my power station for 10 months now. It has been wonderful for power failures and for carrying power around my property to wherever it’s needed. It’s also great to take camping. It really is a very good product. The only complaint I have, and for me it’s a big one, is that the power station has an automatic timeout feature which can be set in the app; however, the app only allows a maximum time of 12 hours. During a power failure, I plugged my air purifier into my power station before leaving for the day. The load was light, so the station had the capacity to power it for an entire day; however, that wasn’t the case. When I came home, the air purifier was off and the power station was off–it had hit that 12 hour time limit half way through the day and shut down with around 40% of capacity still remaining in the power station. As I said, it is a very good power station, but had I known about that 12 hour limit ahead of time, I would never have bought it. Growatt needs to add “never” to the choices in the time limit setting in the app.
Got this for a 5 camping trip and it didn’t disappoint – powered USB LED lights every night, charged up mobile phones and tablets for the duration when needed, did just what was needed and still had 15% left at the end of it – recommended
This has been great for going camping. It also worked nice when we lost power and took it into the basement to wait out the tornado. It kept out devices charged along with a fan.
Amazing product at a reasonable price! I purchased the Growatt Vita 550 to use for outdoor adventures such as hiking or camping trips, even roadtrips just to keep in my car, or keeping on hand at home in case of power outages to make sure i always have at least some extra juice on hand to get me by in emergencies. For all these different applications i have in mind, the multifunctionality and portability at a very competitive price point made it a no brainer for me. I did some research to compare with competitors and this model seemed like the best bang for my buck. I’m really happy with the value and performance.
Great quality and spec. Charges quickly from mains but also has 12v and solar cables. Has lots of outputs including wireless charging which works great with my iPhone 13. Nice bright light is a good touch. Only downside is a fairly noisy fan when charging fast, but not a big deal unless planning to charge it overnight in a bedroom etc.
This thing is so overkill and amazing!
It supercharges in just an hour and has the best app ever where you can controll everything and even dim the light. The fan inside this is also so quiet because its off 90% of the time.
Highly recommended this powerstation!
I picked this up for work around the house and for socializing with neighbors. I was actually really surprised by how small it was when it arrived, but it’s easy to move, holds a charge super well (over a week with no loss of charge when turned off).
I was also able to power a small heat gun for applying vinyl wraps to my wife’s car. It was nice to not have to drag out a whole drop cord to the driveway. Also let me play my speaker and charge my phone while working in the yard or hanging out with neighbors at the fire pit.
This is a handy item to have around the house and would make a great wedding present. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who spends time out on a patio, camping, working in a garage/shop.
As an avid outdoors enthusiast and someone who values preparedness, I can confidently say that Growatt’s Vita 550 is an absolute game-changer. This device has become an indispensable part of my gear arsenal. Some of the cool features this devices has are the UPS functionality, it’s accessibility and design. This thing won’t let you down when the power goes out, whether you’re outdoors, camping, or have unexpected outages at home. It has a bunch of different ports making it easy to use, allowing simultaneous charging of multiple devices. It’s lightweight, sturdy and looks really sleek. It even has a built-in light for convenience. I would highly recommend the Vita 550 with no hesitation!
They always say you get what you pay for this box is so powerful it ran my foot pedal nail drill all day long and only use 10% of its full power. This thing is very strong and definitely could power other things all day long just in case you’re thinking about getting a wireless station of some kind And it powers up very quickly only in one and a half hours. I think it takes longer to power a cell phone than that. It also has all the smart features like docking station to power things like your iphone I and comes with Bluetooth capabilities, very user-friendly, for people who don’t know a lot about electricity?
