This repair patch set has everything you need to repair all kinds of inflatable toys. I made sure to clean the area and didn’t overly apply the adhesive. I’ve used this a few times to save pool floats and toys. The patches are sized well and can easily be trimmed. This set will last a long time.

I tried using this kit to fix an underwater hole of an above ground pool. Once I opened the box I quickly went with different vinyl from an old kit as the plastic that comes with it is way too thin. It worked fine on a float, but not for a pool as stated.
The glue held, but was a bit messy to apply and bubbled, so I had to remove the patch twice and it was still leaking. The glue adhered very well on about 80 of the patch.

My friend needed to stay over at my house for a night and he brought his cat with him. In the night his cat got spooked and tore a hole in my expensive air mattress! I was so devastated because I thought it was ruined! I’ve never had much luck with inflatable toy patch kits in the past, so I didn’t have much hope for repairing my air mattress, but I had to at least try before tossing it.

The kit came with all necessary tools and parts and was pretty inexpensive in my opinion. You can use it a ton of times, probably more than any one person would need in a lifetime honestly!

I haven’t attempted to patch a hole like this in many years, so you could say my skill level was equivalent to a beginner. I think I did a terrible job based on the end result photo, but the mattress gets covered with a sheet anyway so looks don’t matter!

I was able to follow the instructions included in the kit and patch the sizeable hole relatively quickly and easily. I inflated the mattress again at its firmest setting and laid down/rolled around to simulate a person sleeping. There was no hissing of escaping air! No one has slept a full night on the air mattress since the patch, but it seems to be very secure and it definitely airtight. I don’t anticipate any trouble, since I was relatively rough in my testing and the patch held just fine.

My only complaint with this kit was 1) the box was so crammed with all the components of the kit that the plastic repair material was all bent and stuffed in, and 2) the plastic pieces were very dirty…..I was questioning whether or not the kit I got was an open box return. I had to wash the piece I used in the repair there was so much dust/dirt on it. I’m hoping that was an anomaly specific to my kit.

Better packaging of the kit would be great, but otherwise it worked as intended and exceeded my expectations for it!

    Worked on my air mattress!

Works as intended. There is plenty of glue to use on a variety of projects/needs. I recommend spreading a fairly thin but VERY even layer of glue (but not too think) using a small spatula or something flat. Then place the patch on it and use the spatula or squeegee to force any air bubbles out from the inside out. Don’t press too hard or the glue will come out. Then place something flat and heavy on it and let it sit overnight and you’ll have a really good patch that will stand up over time.

I got this to repair a blowup pool that I got for my kids around Covid time. They still like to use it time to time and there was a whole recently that I noticed in it. I bought this and quickly was able to figure out how to use the glue and put the patch on top of it. Works like a charm!

I have never used a vinyl patch kit before so I have nothing to compare to. This kit comes with several larger patches and enough adhesive for probably about 1000 patches, no kidding, it’s a LOT of adhesive. I needed to patch my son’s inflatable dinosaur punching bag as it was leaking along one of the seams. The patch material is thin and flexible but thicker than what I am patching. As the instructions state, the patch may curl if too much adhesive is applied. I ran into this but it’s an easy fix with a paper towel to flatten the patch back out and clean up any excessive adhesive. I couldn’t figure out how much adhesive is too much since the adhesive starts flowing upon opening. The adhesive tube is VERY generous and given this, I recommend squeezing some out into the trash before first use or you’ll be fighting the self dispensing nature of a full tube. Anyway, I trimmed a patch to the area needed, placed the patch over the leak, folded it in half, then applied adhesive to the punching bag and folded the half of the patch onto the adhesive, holding the now glued half in place with a paper towel while I did the other half. It comes with a rigid spreader that is really made for auto body work, not a soft vinyl patch. I tried using the spreader and that was a bad idea. Instead, I just used the paper towel to even out the adhesive (under the patch) and the patch. The instructions state to lay the patched area flat and put something heavy on top and wait 24 hours. So I placed a 5 pound dumbell on top of the patch. I tested it after about an hour and it appears to be fully bonded but I’m not in a rush. Since I’ve never used a vinyl patch before, I didn’t know what to really expect, but I did think the patch would be cured quickly (less than an hour) and not require 24 hours. But I’ll reinflate the punching bag after 24 hours to see how the patch holds since I’m in no rush and want to follow the instructions.

I was very impressed with this air mattress patch kit. I had a small hole in my air mattress and I was able to fix it quickly and easily with this kit. The patches are very strong and adhesive, and they held up perfectly even when I inflated the mattress to its full capacity. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who needs to repair an inflatable.

Very happy with this patch kit. It works great and it does seal very well. I have an adjustable air mattress on my bed and our dog’s toe nails had made a couple of holes in it. Patched it with this kit, allowed it to set overnight to dry out and get a good seal. Put on my bed again the next day and it was great. I like that the cap has a pin in it to keep the tube from sealing up as well. Comes with pre cut patches or patches that you can cut to size.

This repair kit is very good, my kids were jumping in the air mattress and all the air came out. I got this kit and it was very easy to fix the problem, I like how its a good quantity and will last a long time if I need to fix more things.

I know what you are thinking. Who on earth still has a waterbed? Well…we have had ours since the 1980s. The warmth of the mattress really helps with muscle aches and cramps. We still love it, so when we find glue for patching it, if and when it springs a leak, we get it. The Hubs has the patching figured out and this is just the right kind of glue for it. We are glad to have it.

Got this repair kit to fix a leak in an inflatable footrest. The material of the footrest is a bit like suede so tried fabric glue as well as self adhesive synthetic leather patches and neither worked even though the leak is just a pinprick size. But this glue and patch did and at least for now the leak seems to have been plugged. The repair kit comes with a tube of glue, 5 clear small round patches, and 5 clear larger rectangular patches which you can cut to size. The important thing is after you apply the glue and adhere the patch you have too keep the leak area pressed tightly for 24 hours. Since the leak I needed to fix was tiny and precision being necessary I used a clamp for pressure and it was effective.
