Fr Kkangpuristen klare Empfehlung.

I’ve got an AV receiver, with a subwoofer, two floor standing speakers, surround speakers, all top brands, top quality. This soundbar cost a fraction of the price, produces unbelievable surround sound that competes with a 1500 setup. Buy this with confidence. Just not from Amazon.

Amazon delivery was awful. Almost two weeks to deliver. Horrific service. Avoid buying this on Amazon, get it from a decent website, like Richersounds or somewhere.

Pretty much plug and play (I had to adjust a couple of settings on my TV, but that’s not the soundbar’s fault), the fact that the sub and rear speakers are wireless saves having to run cables everywhere (but be mindful you’ll need conveniently placed power sockets), it doesn’t have the blinding blue LED on it that manufacturers insist on putting in everything (there is an LED display, but turning the brightness down hides it and it just turns on momentarily if you adjust the volume or something), it’s supported every encoding format I’ve thrown at it, and the sound quality is excellent for the price – dialogue is clear, the soundstage feels open (but see downsids), and while the sub isn’t earth shaking it’s also not boomy or overpowering.

The downsides are that that upfiring speakers don’t seem to achieve anything, it can take a few seconds to start producing noise if you switch encoding format (e.g. the menu sounds in Netflix are simple PCM but videos are usually Dolby Surround or Atmos), there’s a lack of any calibration or volume balancing options, it plays an annoying tune at power on and off, and the fact that it shuts off after a few minutes if it’s not actively making noise is a pain – I have my PC connected to the TV for playing games so if I spend too long staring at Steam deciding what to play the speakers will shut off.

Overall not perfect, but I am more than happy with it.

A very good soundbar, which, unfortunately I had to return.

Although it’s apparently one of the slimmer soundbars out there, it protrudes onto the bottom of the screen of my Phillips 50″ Ambilight TV by an inch or so, which is very distracting.

That’s purely down to my TV having a very low stand.

Set up was easy and the sound was certainly better than the TV speakers. Shame my TV has such a low profile or I’d have kept it.

One negative about the soundbar was that I bought it as “used, like new” – and indeed it looked new – but no instructions came with it and no AAA batteries for the remote! Very frustrating!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWith so many options left right and centre for soundbars, I wasn’t sure how much to actually spend. Got this one on sale for under 100 and am pretty pleased with it.

The bass is impressive, though does sometimes feel a little over the top – happily you can easily adjust bass mids and highs on the included remote.

In some videos the sound can seem a little murky, but overall it’s a huge step up from anything that your TV can do on it’s own – I’d definitely recommend it for the price. Go for it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI really love this soundbar with wireless subwoofer. Sound is excellently loud and clear, speaker is high quality.
Best paired with my Hisense 55 inch hd smart tv. We now enjoy watching our favourite movies, playing music through bluetooth connection is also superb!
Price is reasonable, I did not need to spend on those expensive brands just to get the best sound on my tv. It was also very easy to set up and the soundbar settings can be changed in tv settings, how convenient.
The soundbar perfectly sits below the tv, subwoofer is slim, but powerful, so it does not eat up too much space. Since my tv is also Hisense the appearance is so perfect, it made my tv set up look complete.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI got this as my Sony seemed to have an issue with the built in speaker on the right hand side.

This was really easy to install, I was actually surprised how much things have moved on from the days of yore where you had to wire every speaker in your 5.1 across your room. I guess you still need power but one less cable. The subwoofer to my amazement was wireless!

In terms of connectivity, I opted to use HDMI ARC. The experience is virtually plug and play. There is a delay when starting the TV, about 10 seconds as a voice tells you power on and then paired and connected. The device does not have a standby mode which your TV most likely does. After maybe 45min-1h the soundbar will disconnect from the TV. You need to manually restart it or restart the TV.

Occasionally, it will says power on. I believe this is only common with OLED TVs like mine as they are never off and shortly after shutting it off a pixel refresh function begins. This might end up scaring you when your TV eventually does a long pixel refresh (depends on brand but could be once 2 months) and turns the speakers on in the middle of the night.

The audio quality is excellent, it’s very bass heavy. I have the bass turned down but I also live in a flat. The treble is good enough, perhaps somewhat tinny but very good compared to built in speakers albeit broken in my case.

The speakers are very loud, or rather not very linear in volume setting. In my case the system takes over the inbuilt one and the TV knows that. The remote even controls the “Sound System”, therefore it’s not possible to create a buffer on the volume by using the remote to reduce to source output. I’m sure it will be somewhere in the settings but I’m too lazy to check. As a result, my other working Sony can be up to 45 on certain movies. With these speakers I don’t go above 10. As such, with a louder source like Spotify I can often be on 2 or 3. At nighttime or when someone is sleeping even 1 seems slightly too loud.

The size is very acceptable and of standard for this type of product I’d say. Just a long bar that’s wall mountable and a rather compact subwoofer.

The materials are plastic but they look nice enough. Once set up you’d never touch it anyway. The “interface” consist of an LED through which you adjust certain EQ settings. This is fairly straightforward again but perhaps not very precise as the setting is translated through the brightness of the LED light. So not very precise.

You need two 3 pin plug sockets as the subwoofer has its own power supply. This makes this slightly less versatile but certainly manageable.

For the price you pay for this you can’t get better really. Nothing to complain about. I’d recommend this if you’re looking to improve sound quality of TV on a budget. It has won numerous award for best value for money soundbar too. Sure, you can get a 500 one but if it’s for a spare room etc there no need really. This is more than capable.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersStraight out the box I was blown away. I was left smiling in wonder. Wow! That’s even before the EQ is setup. Rich, deep, thick, resounding bass. Sound so thick you could cut it with a knife!

This is miles better than many speakers that are three times more expensive.
In fact last week I returned a Sony that was more expensive with 600W. It was sounding too muddy. This is so soo much better.

This Hisense soundbar is Incredibly powerful. Maybe it’s a tad too powerful as music that’s not well produced might over-modulate (distort) somewhat.
It’s 360 Watts. So it might shake a small flat. I find that if you turn the Bass up to 5 (maximum) depending on what you’re listening to, the bass can lose its composure. But at this price point – we can’t expect too much. It’s not a 5,000 B and O soundbar.
I would say the makers should enable the high-end Trebles to go up to 6 or even 8. Because the current top end won’t overcome the bass when it’s turned to maximum.
Mid range sounds are nicely handled.

But overall the soundbar with wireless subwoofer is phenomenal. The wireless soundbar really works as it’s a tidy set up. Small but packs a punch without a bunch of wires everywhere.

I’m sorry it took me so long to buy this!! And I’m an avowed audiophile.
It makes even commercials on YouTube sound good! Now that’s saying something!!

Set up is EASY. syncing with EARC via HDMi is Easy. The speed of the response from the remote is truly fast.
If you love great sound, you’ll love this !
