Works as far as I can tell but the cord they send with it is super short. I had to switch it out for one of my longer ones at home. But it looks nice and it’s pretty stable
I’m thrilled with the controller charging dock. The customizable lights are a standout feature, allowing me to tailor them to my favorite colors. Additionally, the cooling fan is highly effective, ensuring my PS5 Slim stays cool at all times.
There are countless options for PS5 stands, controller chargers, and cooling stations. Many “all-in-one” options exist, including this one. While I can’t give you many reasons to choose this over others, it’s still a good option. It doesn’t do anything unique, but if you like its features and the price is right, buy it with confidence. It accomplishes everything you need without breaking the bank.
Setup is effortless with only two pieces to connect. The LEDs are a nice touch, and the fan, though not very powerful, is extremely quiet, which is appreciated. The two controller chargers on the end are great for those with shallow TV stands.
My only gripe is the cord placement in the front. If you have kids or pets, it’s easy for them to pull the cord out, potentially dragging the stand with it. This loses a star for me. Despite this, it’s worth purchasing at such a low price. Compared to Sony’s controller charging station, which is similarly priced but lacks additional features, this offers a far better value.
When installed on a PS5 slim model, this accessory doesn’t add much to the profile. It just has a lift on the left side, and the controller dock on the right. The fan is under the controller dock. The color is a light gray and is close enough to match the PS5. The fan model is quieter than my old exterior fan by a lot. It seems to move air well and the charging station works as expected. By lifting the PS5 unit up by about an inch and a half, it provides better airflow and seems to make the unit run cooler, IMO.
