So far doing well holding up frequent use good size for large family. Good value for money. Large lid for good opening and easy to clean. Need 2 to carry if it has been well pack with food etc. Overall fab.
I got this for the summer holiday outings with my little ones. It’s nice and big and cat fit all out lunch and snacks for us all and friends.when completely full, it is quite heavy, however the quality of the bag seems to hold the weight.
This is really well made cool bag – thick, strong and sturdy with well thought out compartments and storage. It also comes with a shoulder carry strap (detachable) that just hook on the sides.
I like the colour of it, it’s very nice to look at, and loads better than those older generic blue coloured ones you still see in the supermarkets – spend a few pounds more and get one of these.
Mesh pockets on the side allow for even more storage and ease of access to whatever you want – there is a zippered front pouch as well.
39.99 might sound expensive for a cool bag – but this will last many many years to come, it really is top quality. I’m going to dispose of my old blue one now I have this. The zips run smoothly as well, better than my old one.
I use various cool bags a lot so wanted to see if this would be a suitable replacement for my old one.
It is big and I can fit everything I could possibly need for a picnic in there.
I like how there are separate compartments as in top and bottom which is great if you wanted to separate certain types of food.
It has a strap and handles for carrying. The material is smooth and zips feel good compared to my old one.
At a price point of 40, this is good value.
I used it for a day out and with my freeze blocks in there and after 4 hours everything was still very cold.
We just came back from a weekend away camping using the bag with a number of gel packs and ice blocks. It worked wonderfully well. It is spacious, flexible, easy to pack and easy to carry.
It feels really well made too.
Excellent item.
The large capacity of this cooler bag is perfect for outdoor activities. It keeps drinks and snacks cold for hours, thanks to the effective insulation. The leak-proof design is reliable, and the bag is easy to clean. It’s durable and withstands various outdoor conditions.
I used this to take food to a barbecue. The capacity is good, It took all my food two cakes, cans of drink and various salad items. To keep the food cool I used 2 large freezer blocks, these remained cold all night, due to the bags insulation and as the inside of the bag is waterproof the moisture from the blocks was contained. The bag has one big central compartment with another compartment in the zippable lid, then four other pockets, one on each side.
The cool bag is well made, waterproof, with zippaple compartment, providing plenty of space for food, drink, utensils etc. The cool bag has handles and a detachable strap.
The Hulongo Cool Bag is a fantastic addition to any outdoor enthusiast’s gear. This spacious and well-insulated cooler bag is perfect for picnics, camping, and grocery shopping.

Overall:
This Hulongo Cool Bag is a reliable and practical choice for anyone seeking a cooler bag that can handle various activities. Its generous size, effective insulation, and waterproof features make it a standout product. Highly recommended for keeping your refreshments chilled and your outdoor experiences enjoyable!
Thus us a very large insulated cooler. It would be perfect to put ice in too, if needed…
This will certainly store a family-worth sized picnic or camping trips worth of food and drink. It has a useful top compartment for smaller items like plates or cutlery or condiments etc.
I probably wouldn’t use it for grocery shopping as its quite bulky but likely not large enough for a shopping trips worth of grocery.
Not the purpose of the cooler bag though… It is a superb camping or picnic cooler bag. Very well made and very well recommended!
Very happy with this cool or keep warm bag.
It is high quality and I love all the different compartments.
I suspect it will last years if looked after properly and not thrown around.
Price wise, I thought it was well worth it as sometimes going for something cheaper proves to be false economy as they tend to drop to bits in no time at all.
Thank you!
Not just huge, I mean ginormous!
Easily big enough to put 2 full cases of pop (48 regular sized cans in).
We already have a smaller sized one to this that we paid about 35 quid for last year, but camping this year we found it wasn’t really big enough, so I’ve been on the look out for a second one to supplement the limited space. This one is easily 4 x the volume, so probably won’t need to take both now.
Not only that but this one has the benefit of pockets, the top one of which is also thermally lined, so you can keep stuff like fruit in it without it getting squished, or if you’re like me and like to keep your meat/fish separate you could use the top pocket for chilled meat and the main section for frozen food/chilled drinks.
There are other pockets too… A padded front pocket (not thermal) for keeping cooking utensils in, a side mesh & side fabric pocket to keep your plates and stuff in and a small zip up pocket on the back (they show a mobile phone in the product photos, but I wouldn’t put mine in there as it’s not padded, I’m going to keep cutlery and a corkscrew in that one).
In addition to the pockets there are 2 tactical style molle strips on the front pocket that you could attach carabiners to to hang things like cups or other small lightweight bits off of.
It has multiple ways to carry it, it has 2 x regular carrying straps so you can lift it like a shopping bag, 2 x stronger handles (one at each end) so if it’s really heavy you can carry it between two people as well as a detachable shoulder strap.
For just under 40 a lot of thought has gone into the design of this cooler bag, I’m really impressed.
Quality of the material ‘feels’ better than my older one too, but that might just be because it’s newer, but the outer material feels smoother and better waterproofed, the zips move better and the stitching is reinforced along the corners… So I think it’s a better build and should be able to cope with more weight than my smaller one.
Overall, this looks and feels like a pretty well-made product. These kind of freezer bags are never going to be as good as a dedicated cool box. What you don’t get in the length of chill down time, you make up for in portability and lightness.
These bags are much lighter than a freezer box. They are also less bulky and they can be folded down when not using them, making them much easier to store away.
The material is pretty thick, the zips are good, as is the stitching. There are outside pockets on either size. There is also an external zip pocket on the back and a large external zip pocket on the front. The bag can be carried with the attached handles, or a removable shoulder strap. The main compartment is plenty big enough for a family picnic and drinks. In the lid, there is a smaller section. It’s tall enough to put your sandwiches in here.
Add some freezer blocks, or even a bag of ice to chill your food or drinks down. The bag will easily last the day keeping things cool with its 8mm of EPE foam. The whole bag has an overall capacity of 42l.
At forty quid, it’s a bit pricey, particularly for an unbranded product. This is, another of those Chinese products that is badged by several importers and then sold on Amazon. This particular product is badged by ‘Huiongo’. I suspect that there will be a number of identical products with a number of other equally baffling names. None the less, it feels pretty decent and happy to recommend if you’re looking for a cool bag as opposed to an actual cool box.
What a superb cool bag this is. It has been well designed and made using good quality materials all of which results in a brilliant product.
It’s a fair old size at 42 litres so will hold everything you want to keep cool and fresh for day out/picnic etc.
There are plenty of pockets so food items that you might wish to keep apart can be seperated quite easily. The main pocket is cavernous and would easily hold 2 or 3 bottles and still have room for other food items.
When full it could, potentially, be quite heavy and so the addition of carrying handles on the ends is a great benefit as is the shoulder strap. Both of these are sturdy and more than capable of supporting the bag when full.
The whole bag is made from quality materials and I see no reason why it shouldn’t provide years of service. I also quite like the colour which lends itself to use in other pursuits such as fishing. At just under 40 it seems very reasonably priced given the quality of everything and I highly recommend it.
I got this “Hulongo” cool bag to assist in keeping my frozen food chilled whilst defrosting my freezer which I have been putting off for far too long now. It is a well made, robust bag with a slightly textured canvas type plastic exterior which has a matt finish and the interior is lined with a thick insulated silver material which is watertight. There are two zipped pockets, one either side of the bag and a mesh pocket and an open pocket on the the other two sides. The “lid” of the bag also has a large zipped pocket which opens up completely for easy access. The stitching all looks pretty good and is well machined with no trailing threads or loose seams and the handles and zips are robust and well attached to the bag. It is a good quality cool bag that looks like it will last quite a number of years even with constant use. I think a few picnics may be on the cards once I have defrosted my freezer as it is a perfect size for storing lashings of ginger beer (or lager) and big enough to store enough cheese and pickle sandwiches to feed a football team. There is a canvas shoulder strap with carabiner type clips included which will be useful for yomping all your lager and picnic down to the beach. At 39.99 it is perhaps a bit on the pricey side but the quality is there and I don’t think you would need to replace it for quite some time. It is certainly an extremely well insulated bag/hamper and looks well … pretty cool … for want of a better adjective. Also useful for keeping food hot like on the way back from the Chinese or Indian. Great Product 5 Stars from me!
