This is a nice aluminium stand for our Echo Show. It assembles easily with the supplied fitting kit and the magnet holds the Echo Show in position quite securely. The height of the stand does though cause some wobble, and the brackets don’t feel quite as secure as I would like. Perhaps slightly pricey for what it is, but otherwise it’s a very nice stand.

You have to screw the bottom to the stand with the supplied screwdriver. The top is magnetic and sticks to the bottom of the Alexa. The bar between the top and bottom has loop to wind any spare cable, but I couldn’t be fussed to do that. Once on the slope can be adjusted to as you like it. It did feel robust and well balanced. I’m very happy with this niubuy Adjustable Metal Stand Work for Echo Show 8(3rd Gen). I actually ordered it without knowing which version of Echo Show 8 I have, and it turns out I have Gen 1 and Gen 2, but not Gen 3.
However, I assembled the stand which took about 30 seconds with the included mini screws and little cross-head screwdriver. Although the size of the magnetic plate on this stand is smaller than the base of the older Gen Echo Shows, I found it easy to position the Echo Show so it was neatly and stably balanced on the stand. In this position I can tilt it forwards and backwards to get the perfect angle. It may not be quite as secure on the older versions as using it for the intended Show Gen 3, where the stand size matches the base of the Echo Show correctly, but it is perfectly satisfactory for my needs.
I’m very happy with the stand, it looks good, has good elevation from the tabletop, and can be made to work with a wider range of devices, so I rate it five stars. It is around 24 at the time of review which I think is good value.
