The camera battery and charger set I rely on for my photography sessions consistently deliver excellent performance. The fast charging capability ensures I’m always ready to capture moments with my camera. The digital display provides useful charging information, although the magnetic snap cover feels slightly flimsy. Overall, it’s a practical choice for photographers seeking reliable power solutions that meet their professional or hobbyist needs.

One of the common challenges with digital cameras is their limited battery capacity, making it essential to carry spares. The standard charger that comes with most cameras only charges a single battery at a time and requires a mains lead to function. The llano Canon Camera Dual Battery Charger offers a fantastic alternative solution, providing an efficient way to charge multiple batteries simultaneously. The magnetic snap cover is a thoughtful addition, ensuring the charger remains secure during travel, which is particularly useful for photographers on the move.

Using the llano charger is straightforward: simply pop the batteries into the charger and close the lid. The device immediately indicates the charge status, and as soon as you connect the USB-C to a power source, the charging process begins. Impressively, it charges two batteries to 100% within 2-3 hours. One of the standout features is its versatility; you can plug it into a power bank, an electrical wall plug, or even a car socket, making it incredibly convenient for charging batteries on the go.

The digital display on the front of the charger is very useful, showing the status of the batteries and how much power they have left. This feature allows you to easily monitor the charging progress and know exactly how much longer you need to wait. Overall, the llano Canon Camera Dual Battery Charger is a reliable and efficient accessory for any photographer, offering the flexibility and convenience needed to keep your camera powered up, no matter where you are.

I recently purchased a camera battery charger that impressed me with its efficiency and smart design. It charges quickly with its 18W fast charging capability, which is ideal for photographers needing a reliable power source on the go. The dual USB ports are convenient for charging multiple devices simultaneously. The magnetic snap cover adds a nice touch, ensuring the charger remains secure during travel. However, the display could be more intuitive for easier monitoring of charging status. Overall, it’s a practical choice for photographers looking for a versatile and efficient charging solution.

The llano LP-E6NH battery charger/charging case arrived very professionally packed in a shrink wrapped colour printed cardboard box bearing the llano branding.

In the box you get the charging case, a USB C charging cable, a carrying lanyard, a soft carrying/storage pouch and an instruction manual.

The well designed charging case features PD fast charging for two LP-E6NH batteries at the same time and as an added bonus also features an SD card storage slot.

The LP-E6NH batteries fit snugly into the charging slots without any slop and the unit will fully charge both batteries in around 180 minutes with a modern 18W QC 3.0 or PD 3.0 charging adapter.

The finish of the case is exceptional and this is a good looking modern case.

Possibly in the upper price range for a charger but with all the built in design features and storage this is worth paying a bit extra.

This is an excellent charging solution for the batteries from my Canon EOS 60D, in many ways it is better than the charger that came with the camera – for example:
    * you can charge 2 batteries at the same time;
    * the charging case has a digital display which shows the state of charge of each battery;
    * you can plug this into a USB charging port so you are not restricted to needing a mains power source – i.e. you can charge in your car, use a power bank..etc.
This charging case by Llarno is very well made and has become a very useful addition to my camera kit. Happy to recommend.

Great charger – charges fast both batteries simultaneously with no issues at all. Having the LCD display is a big plus and it works great. it is quite small so easy to take with you when travelling and having the case included is a plus.

    Highly recommended to all.

    PROS
-lid means that it is very portable (I have other chargers with no lid, I wouldn’t be able to transport my batteries while in them)
-feels well manufactured and designed (if a little heavier than I’d like)
-easy to read LEDs to indicate charging status of each battery
-high input of 18W (via QC or PD)
-included batteries have a decent capacity, and work fine in my R6
-thoughtful storage for SD cards (storage only, this is not a card reader)
-tested one battery to exhaustion during a timelapse session with R6: 1203 photos (no autofocusing, LCD turned down to low brightness)
-includes fabric bag to protect the charger (which I’ll never use, but it’s a nice touch)

    CONS
-just a charger, case holds no power itself, it has to be plugged in to charge the batteries
-higher power charging comes with a downside in battery lifetime
-no port cover for USB-C port (if this is going to be portable, then it’s going to encounter dust/dirt/sand/moisture, best to have a cover for that port)
-a bit bulky (something to consider if you are going to regularly carry this in your camera bag)
    -a bit pricey

    NOTES
-Ok, I’ll give kudos to llano for an innovative design, but it’s a battery charger with a lid. I have other chargers that do all the same things (rapid charge, LEDs) for a third of the price.

    MY STAR RATINGS:
    1* substandard, mostly cons
2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros
3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros
4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons
5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

One of the downsides of digital cameras is that they do have limited batter capacity and you really do need to carry spares. The standard charger supplied with a camera will only charge a single battery at a time and requires a mains lead to work. This offers an alternative solution and an alternative supply when charging.

The charger arrives with a carry bag, USB-C lead and wrist strap. I’ve put the strap away as I just put the charger in my camera bag. Sometimes you do wonder why some accessories are included. Operation is pretty straightforward, you drop the batteries into the charger and close the lid. You get an immediate indication of charge status and as soon as you connect the USB-C to power, the charging process kicks off. The charge speed seems OK, I didn’t sit with a stopwatch checking, but 2 batteries were back at 100% in a couple of hours.

What I did like was the fact I can plug this into a power bank and charge batteries on the go; yes you need a pretty decent power bank to get up to the full power capacity of this, but being able to charge while you’re away from mains power is such a bonus.

There are a couple of things I could do without, first the accessories that just got put in a cupboard. Most of these will sit in a camera bag, you don’t need the wrist strap. The other is the SD card slot, the LP-E6 battery is used in many Canon Cameras but quite few of these use CF storage rather than SD. The other thing to remember is most photographers will store their SD cards in a dedicated carrying case, I certainly do so I can’t see the point of the SD card slot in this device.

All in all though, a good bit of kit that gives you a great option for keeping batteries charged on the go.

This kit is a pretty good option for Canon shooters. It keeps my camera juiced up and ready to go. The fast charger gets my batteries back up and running quickly, so I don’t have to wait around forever for them to recharge. The built-in digital display shows me the charging status. The charger has two USB-C ports, so I can charge both batteries at the same time. It’s compatible with a wide range of Canon EOS cameras. The only downside is that the magnetic cover could be a bit stronger.

This Camera Battery 18W Fast Dual USB C Charger is a game-changer for Canon camera owners! Compatible with a wide range of Canon models including EOS R5, R6 Mark II, and various others, it features dual USB-C ports for efficient charging. The smart digital display provides real-time charging information, ensuring you always know the battery status. The magnetic snap cover adds convenience and protects the ports when not in use. Perfect for photographers needing reliable and fast charging solutions. Highly recommended!

If you take your photography gear out walking/ hiking – this is a good addition to your arsenal of gear. I usually spend the night before busily charging my batteries, getting my gear organised and generally faffing about.
With this – I am pretty confident about just focusing on having clean lenses, tripods etc all ready – I can charge my extra batteries on the go the next morning.
Mine worked absolutely fine. I’m not 100% sold on the SD card slot – I still prefer storing mine in individual protective cases, but if you’re a little bit less fussy than me, then having an extra card storage slot is a good idea.
It’s not a cheap item, but given that it worked well first time, I’d consider this carefully as a good option if doing a full day of shooting – or even just sticking it my bag to avoid the emergency panic for an unexpected low battery warning on a day out taking photos.

This isn’t cheap (60 at the time of review) but is such a useful addition to my camera bag. If you’re out taking photos for long enough that you’re going to use up a battery, you can keep another one topped up in here.

I’m definitely not a heavy enough user that I need two spare batteries but if you do this is a good option.

This Llano battery charger arrived in a cardboard box sealed in clear plastic. Inside the box was the charger, USB-C charging cable, wrist strap, instruction leaflet, and drawstring bag. There are no batteries included so you need to provide Canon LP-E6 batteries. The charger can charge two batteries at the same time, and provides a protection box for when the batteries are not in use or being transported. The charger also provides space to store a SD memory card when it is not in use, again providing protection for a memory card in transport.

The charger has a lid that opens at the back, and closes shut with magnets on the lid. There are silicone foot pads on the bottom of the charger, so that it won’t scratch any surfaces. The included USB-C charging cable can be plugged into an electrical wall plug, or a car socket, or a power bank, meaning you can take this charger wherever you go. It takes around 180 minutes to charge up the batteries, and you can charge two batteries at once which reduces the time waiting for the batteries to be fully charged.

The charger has a digital display on the front showing the status of the batteries and how much power is in them. This is extremely useful for knowing how charged the batteries are, and how much longer I need to wait for them to be charged. The leaflet says the charger has various protection features included such as overcharging, high temperature, overcurrent, overvoltage, and short circuit issues.

This is a good quality charger for Canon LP-E6 batteries, the charger can charge two batteries at once, provides protection for the batteries and memory card when not in use and needs to be transported around. Recommended.

For full disclosure I received this for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, the opinion given is mine and mine alone and has not been influenced in any way.
    Now for the good stuff…

I should mention I received 4 of these for 4 camera systems I have so the review on each will be identical as other than the battery size they take, they all work the same way.

This is perhaps the greatest invention ever for photographers and videographers ever , a super fast charging case with spring loaded slots for 2 SD cards, I have been racking my brain and I just can’t think of anything negative to say at all.
The fast charge isn’t an idle boast, much faster than the OEM charger and I have some batteries that charge direct via USB C and it is still faster than them.

Knowing what I know, would I have bought these with my own money?
Absolutely, in fact if there is a Fuji version I shall be placing an order very shortly, I have run out of superlatives to describe how useful these are, no more carrying separate chargers , a supremely neat solution.

As someone who does carry too many batteries it would be nice perhaps if this also had an output port so it could act as a power bank in emergencies, not a criticism, just a suggestion.

This is a Llano fast charger, made for use with Canon LP-E6 batteries. And very good it is too.

I think it’s very convenient to carry two spare batteries in this case when on the go, as it allows me to charge empty batteries immediately when needed and still have the two spare batteries protected in this case; which is really nice.

Made of quality plastic with a soft lacquer surface, the charger therefore feels very high-quality and nice to use. With two small rubber feet on the underneath, means the device won’t slide around on smooth surfaces easily, which I like a lot. Also, its hinged lid also looks and feels premium too.

With a small round LCD display, the charging case shows the battery level ipercentage for each battery. Additionally, charging is indicated by a green flash as soon as you have connected the device to a power source, and is charged via USB-C.

As for charging performance, this is very good indeed, with the batteries are charged quickly and reliably each tand every time, and the percentage display correctly displayed at all times.

For the cost at the time of my review, being good quality, with a high-quality feel and the bargain price (comparing it to original Canon accessories) this device is ridiculously affordable and worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gets charging done excellently!

This is the second usb charger I have tried for Canon batteries, the first was cheap and cheerful, about 6, this is a totally different kettle if fish, appears to be quite well made and sturdy although I am not the biggest fan of the rubberised finish which shows every fingermark, quite large but it charges two batteries at a time. Connected to my phone charger it topped up two spare batteries in minutes when they were showing 85% to begin. The only purpose of the button on the front of the unit appears to be to show charge percentage when batteries are stored in it and there is an SD card slot next to the second battery slot which is purely for storing a card. In spite of of my dislikes I feel this will be my go to charger as both my phone and laptop have usb c chargers and my car has a surfeit of usb sockets.

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful.
