Although I have an original PS5 rather than the revised ‘slim’ model I was keen to try this stand out to see how it looks with my model. The stand comes well-packaged, and includes clear instructions with diagrams to help with the installation process, as well as the required screw for attaching it to the console.
Installation was very easy. I simply ensured the additional included insert was attached to the stand, lined it up to the bottom of the console and screwed it on. It attaches securely and the PS5 is very stable once placed on it.
If you have a ‘slim’ PS5 console this is an excellent alternative to the pricier official one. If you have an older PS5, the silver chrome ring design of this stand gives the console a different and unique look compared to the existing all-black plastic one included with those models.
