I’ve been using this with my iPhone 14 Pro and 15 Pro phones (one is a work phone, but shhhh lol). It also works with my old iPad too.
It’s decent quality and was easy to connect and get working.
I’ve not experienced any connection issues at all, and I have found it to be responsive.
It’s really very intuitive and makes gaming more immersive. I’m very happy with it.

This mobile gaming controller works seamlessly with multiple devices, enhancing the mobile gaming experience. Its ergonomic design and responsive buttons provide comfort and precision during gameplay. The RGB lights and vibration feedback add to the immersive experience. Although the build quality could be sturdier, the controller’s versatility and functionality make it a valuable addition for gaming on the go.

Picked this up to use with some racing games on my iPhone.

The device is super simple to connect if you follow the provided instructions in the box.

The joystick controls are super smooth and all the buttons are nice and responsive. I haven’t noticed any lag in the controller which is good.

Not personally into the whole RGB lighting but if you are this device has RGB lighting on board as well.

A great gaming controller which supports a wide range of mobile devices including tablets!

I wouldn’t say I’m a big mobile gamer as I’ve got a PC and various consoles, but I do find myself occasionally playing games if I fancy a bit of a lazy day or find an exceptional mobile game. I found this device relatively easy to setup, I did struggle with mapping buttons but I suspect that was more the app rather than the device itself.

The size of the device very much depends on the size of your phone. I find it relatively comfortable using it with my Pixel but I suspect it might be harder to hold with bigger phones.

The buttons feel solid and the thumbsticks feel well built, I’ve not had any issues with stick drift. The only downside I would say is the lack of power pass-through. It would’ve been very nice to charge your phone whilst gaming but alas this isn’t a feature of the device.

Overall though, it’s a good device to have if you’re a light or heavy mobile gamer!

It works brilliantly with no connection issues and very easy to set up, good quality with no lag, buttons feel good and responsive as they should.
    Very happy with this.

The controller caught my attention right out of the box with its sleek, modern design. The RGB LED lights add a cool, futuristic aesthetic, and the controller feels solid and durable in hand. The setup was straightforward; pairing with my iPhone 13 was seamless. The retractable design easily accommodated my phone and tablet, providing a secure grip without feeling bulky.

One of the standout features of the D8 is its wide compatibility. I’ve used it across multiple devices, including my iPhone, Android tablet, and even my PC. This versatility means I can switch between devices without needing different controllers, which is incredibly convenient. The Hall Effect joysticks and triggers are remarkably precise and responsive. They offer smooth, tactile feedback that enhances gameplay, especially in shooters and racing games.

The retractable design works well, but it’s limited to devices under 11 inches. Larger tablets or those with thick cases might not fit securely. Some users might find the button placement a bit cramped, especially if they have larger hands. It took me a bit of time to get used to the layout. The plethora of features, while fantastic, comes with a slight learning curve. It took a few sessions to fully utilise the programmable buttons and motion controls.

Overall, the controller is a versatile and powerful addition to any mobile gamer’s arsenal. Its broad compatibility, precision controls, and ergonomic design make it very handy.

A reasonably well made controller that uses my phone as a screen. It is much easier to game than using on screen controls however I did find it slightly worse than a separate controller.

I found it didn’t work with all game apps but worked very well with my PS4 using PS Remote Play and is nice way to use my PS4 on the go. The joysticks aren’t as sensitive as the Dualshock so I needed to increase it in the game settings and the layout is slightly different but as a controller, it works well. Being able to connect via Bluetooth is ideal and I didn’t notice much if any lag. The multiple modes of connection most likely all work but I haven’t been able to test the xbox mode.

The main disadvantage of this is that since I’m using a normal and not gaming phone, my charging port is in a normal place at the bottom of the phone and I’m unable to charge my phone during a long session. Doubled up with the fact my phone is on the older side, the battery doesn’t last as long as it used to and needing to be able to charge would be beneficial.

Quality wise, it feels a tad on the cheap side for the price but I can’t say it doesn’t work.

I am really happy with this Bluetooth game controller. Unlike ones which force a USB/lightning connection, using Bluetooth means it will work with any model of phone, which gives it great flexibility.

It has a spring-loaded mechanism for expanding and gripping the phone, which works really well and my phone feels securely held. It also expands really far so you could probably even use it with some tablets.

Using it to play games from my Xbox, or with Xbox cloud gaming worked really well, with the analogue sticks and buttons feeling responsive and the entire thing feeling comfortable in hand. After a couple of hours I did feel a bit of fatigue in my hands but it was only minor, and to be expected.

I haven’t given it five stars, and that is down to the build quality. The chassis does feel a bit cheap, and the power button looks pretty rough, although these don’t affect the way it plays, but the biggest issue for me is the quality of the thumbstick grips. The rubber on them feels almost flaky, more like a hard foam than rubber, so I don’t think they will last very well. I decided to head this problem off at the pass, and attached some silicone stick grips from my Quest 3 to it, which will protect them, but it’s a shame to have used Hall effect sticks and then put such a poor grip on them.

Good all round tablet controller from a brand i trust on quality

Having owned the D6 version of this controller it is nice to see how design choices have improved on the D8, the biggest plus it the option to use with a tablet giving you a bigger screen than a switch to play games on.
The RGB in the duel thumb sticks is a nice “Gamers” touch and they thumbsticks feel nice and solid, i have not noticed any drift issues in the few days i have been using it but this will be apparent after extensive usage. The finger trigger switches as just the right amount of stiffness but the A,B, X & Y buttons to me seem a little to stiff.

Taking this all the way up to extending on a 10th jen iPad does make it a bit flexible in its clamping function and i do not fully trust it to hold on tight to the ipad as it can slip out.
In my opinion this should have come with an assortment of rubber clamping inserts to ensure a choice of a better fit at this slightly higher price point as the D6 was a good 10 cheaper..

For me though i did get some good use out of the D6 on my phone until i got my ipad so this will be a 5 star gaming accessory in my collection.
