This mini fridge only fits a few cans, so it is quite small as advertised. However, it’s also excellent for storing fruit by my desk and other cold goods. It chills down to a normal fridge temperature and seals well, not letting any cold air escape.

It’s quiet and I often have it on while working and sometimes while sleeping, with no issue at all. You can hear the fan, but it’s not distracting.

The fridge is lightweight and easy to move around. It works well plugged into the car and is excellent for short road trips.

This mini fridge fits perfectly into the IKEA square box units. It fits 6 regular sized cans, 4 upright and 2 on their side on the top shelf, although I did have to take the front pocket shelf out to do that. It also holds 4 500ml cans. I can’t really hear it running unless there is nothing else turned on in the room. Great little fridge.

Really nice little item. No problems so far, keeps everything cool. I use it for skin-care and small cans of drinks. Have it set just under my desk and is really convenient. Spacious and quiet.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am a truck driver and I bought this little fridge for my bananas and chocolate to keep in the cab. Stuff that needs to be kept cool, but not cold. Most of the little fridges I looked at only have two settings: ice cold and warm. This one I bought because you can set the temperature you want. After experimenting I found that 60 degrees is a good setting for bananas and chocolate, but the thing cycles on and off almost constantly (I haven’t counted, but it feels like about 3 times per minute), and when it comes on the noise is rather obnoxious. Other reviewers say they keep it in their bedroom for snacks and makeup, etc. but I don’t know how they can stand to sleep with the thing going on and off all the time; it would drive me crazy. In the kitchen it’s okay and I’ve learned to tune it out somewhat.

As with any frost-free fridge it does get condensation on the inside which I have to wipe dry each day. But it fulfils my goal of having bananas that last longer than a day and chocolate that doesn’t melt in my hand. The fact that it is powered by both AC & DC, is a great bonus. At only 29.99 at time of review with a 3 voucher applied, this is a bargain.

This compact unit is both a cooler and warmer. It can be set to either cool the contents or keep them warm.

Power can be from AC mains power, or using the supplied lead it can be run from the cigarette lighter. In many cars there is such a socket in the boot too. This gives great flexibility to keep medicines, drinks or food in the ideal condition at home or on the move. The top handle is useful when moving the unit from indoors to the car. There is little noise as there is just a small fan, the electronic cooling system means there is no need for pumps like a conventional fridge.

With the shelf in place you are limited to six standard 330ml drinks cans, but when removed larger items can be accommodated. The cooling and heating functions work best when the items inside are pre-chilled or pre-warmed. The unit is better at maintaining the temperature of the contents rather than heating them or cooling them.

This is a neat little fridge. I’m not sure about the 4 litre measurement as it is smaller than a 2 liter bottle! Keep in mind it can only cool things 10-15 degrees below ambient so it’s not a true fridge like at home but it does cool enough for drinks etc.

    Recommended!

I recently purchased this handy mini fridge and overall, I am quite pleased. It’s an ideal solution for keeping drinks and snacks cool, especially when traveling or in a small space like a dorm or office. The dual power options are a real plus, allowing me to use it at home plugged into a standard wall socket or via the car’s cigarette lighter when on the road. During a recent road trip, it kept my drinks cooled effectively, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather.

Size-wise, it’s quite compact. It comfortably holds six 330ml cans, but don’t expect to fit larger bottles unless you remove the interior shelf. It’s lightweight and the top handle makes it easy to carry around. I agree with other users who mentioned it would be better if it was a bit roomier, as four larger cans might not be enough for a longer outing.

One thing I would suggest is to pre-cool or pre-heat items before placing them in the fridge. It doesn’t cool things down super quickly if they start at room temperature. The heating function is a nice touch; I found it useful to keep my lunch warm during a day out.

The design is sleek and modern, fitting neatly into any decor. The magnetic door seal is efficient, although I can see how a latched door might be more secure for use in a vehicle. All in all, despite some room for improvement in size, it’s a reliable and versatile little fridge.

As the heading states, this method of transferring heat from one side of a multi plate surfaces to the other side is not new technology, but this does do it very well, both for heating and cooling. It is small, so could be used in the car, or the bedside perhaps if someone is not well, to cool or heat anything that will fit inside. At the beach it would be ideal. We do have a much larger version that works the same, but does take a while to cool, but this, because of its size, obviously works much quicker.
Only the fan moves, so not much to wear out, so should last for years. I have it on now next to my chair, great.

This mini fridge is a nice little cooler, ideal for the living room or bedroom for keeping drinks cool or warm – it runs on both AC and DC power, which makes it perfect for road trips, dorm rooms, etc. If you want to keep things cold (e.g. cold beer) or warm (e.g. warm lunch), this thing can do both, however heating takes a bit longer. Unlike some mini fridges I owned in the past this one runs quietly, so no need to blast the music to drown it out. It has small capacity, it holds up to 6 cans, so enough for a decent stash of ‘goodies’. Please keep in mind, this gadget would be perfect for personal use – not family-sized stockpiles. Also, it keeps things cool, but dont expect it to freeze the water in a heatwave, this won’t do it, let’s be realistic. And a word of advice – for the best results you may pre-chill your drinks or food before putting them in this fridge for best results. This little fridge works best at maintaining cool temperatures, not creating them from scratch. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I have to question the claim that this fridge will take six cans. Yes 6 little cans but only 4 big ones and if you’re going to invest in a fridge you may find 4 big tinnies is not necessarily enough to see you through the day. Certainly not if you are going to be generous to friends. That being said I’m not sure how big this fridge ought to be. It is unrealistic to expect it to be full size, run on 12 volt and still be ultra portable.

It is this portability which is the great thing about the fridge. It is small enough to be tucked or strapped into a car and connected to a cigarette lighter socket. This is how I’m going to use it. Four large cans and sandwiches on the shelf. I am not so lazy that I’d use it in the garden to save having to stand up and go to the kitchen. However, it does run on mains electricity as well as 12 volts DC. Pre-cooling on the mains before setting off on a journey would seem like a good idea.

The fridge can also function as a hot box. It might be even more useful to take pots of soup and perhaps a tub of sausages in the winter, or even a vegan curry. There are two sockets on the rear of the fridge. One for battery power and the other for the mains; and both leads are provided. There are also two switches :one to choose between mains aND battery power whilst the other selects heating or cooling.

I do wish it took six proper sized cans!

Just what every teenager wants in their bedroom lol. I ordered this for my son’s room and it’s the perfect size to fit on his computer desk. It holds up to 6 regular sized cans, or a mixture of cans, cartons and treats.

There’s a little removable shelf inside – if removed you can store cans or bottles of a larger size. The door features a slim compartment, just big enough for a chocolate bar or two.

I can’t comment on the heating element of the fridge as I ordered it solely to use as a fridge, however it keeps the contents nicely cool.
It’s best when switched on for around half an hour before adding contents to allow the inside to cool first. I’ve also found that the best results come from adding items that are already chilled as it keeps the inside at a steady chilled temperature.

The fridge itself is plastic and very lightweight. The door closure has a good seal, preventing cool air escaping.
It comes with 2 power supply leads – one for home and a second for use in the car and there are easy to operate switches to the back.

My son doesn’t leave the fridge on overnight as it can get a little warm to the back, however he plugs it in on a morning and keeps it running all day without issues. All his pre chilled snacks are kept chilled all day.

It’s a great little fridge that works much better than expected – it’s perfect for my son’s bedroom.
