This works really well. I used this after weedkiller and prior to resanding and it worked a treat. The star loss is for poor packaging. The tool wouldn’t shake out of the box so I had to put my hand in. there was no protection over the sharp spikes so I cut my hand. Could do with even just some polystyrene over the brush spikes.

The wire head and sharp spike on the end of this Mitclear Weed Remove Brush are very sharp so be careful how this is stored when not in use. The poles fit together easily although I found the brush head kept coming loose while in use. The pole can further be extended at the top end although I think the length is ample. Weeds between paving and near our doorstep were shredded with ease. However the brush head wires block up with soil and weeds very easily at which point scraping out weeds becomes less effective. Protective gloves are needed to clear out the detritus that gathers – I didn’t have any to hand so haven’t yet cleared it out as I didn’t want to accidentally shred my fingers. A spare brush head is included which is great.

A handy tool for removing weeds and other growth from paths, patios and edges.

The tool slots easily together and once assembled is very sturdy. You can scrape and pull the weeds out with hardly any pressure which helps.

Quite lightweight, easy storage especially if you take it apart again and not overly expensive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy use, does the job.

This weed remover brush comes in sections. Once screwed in it is secure and sturdy.

The head comes with metal bristles that work great. The handle is extendable, which is good for taller people.

It works better with a sweeping in one direction motion rather than push and pull. The metal tip in front is not much use for roots due to the eccentricity with the brush head, very difficult to exert any force to it.

It takes awhile to do a small area, especially weeds with roots. Weed is also stuck in between bristles and quite hard to clean it out (warning of injury if you use your hand to pull it out as the bristles are very sharp).

Overall, it does what it supposed to. Not easy to use but it is built for the job. I found this is better for cleaning stains from the surface of the patio using sweeping motion than removing weed.

Not as good as a hooked blade handtool for taking patio weeds out by the roots, as it can’t get deep and under them – but much easier and quicker! And better than a hoe for scraping them while standing up. I found the assembly straightforward, and it’s always handy to have a second head in reserve. Can’t see that the pointed end will be of much use.

Great value with it having a spare head. I’m very happy with the construction of it. It goes together as easily as it shows in the product video.

The pole is nice and sturdy, and screws together smoothly. No grinding metal sounds.

The head itself worked well against the edge of the house. When it came to the slabs in the garden, I don’t know whether it’s how I use it or, and more likely, the unevenness of the slabs and the mixture of concrete and sand the previous owner used in random areas. Personally, I found it easier to manually pull them, as the roots aren’t deep, then scrape along to even the gap.

    A good weed remover

It’s great to have a weed remover brush with a long handle, it really saves on the back instead of the tiny hand held things. 14 seems like a pretty good price for this and it’s great that they supply 2 heads so when the first is done you have another to use instead of immediately having to buy a new one. It does a pretty good job at removing them. If you really don’t want them to come back you need to pull the whole plant out with the roots. The spike on the end is meant to do that but it’s fiddly to do

Surprisingly pretty good quality and a good price with 2 heads. I can certainly recommend this produc

I like that you get a spare brush head – these can easily get clogged up and need cleaning frequently so the spare head will help get more done in a session.

The handle is made of screw together metal tubes – the top one can be extended telescopically.

Not bad value at just under 14 especially given the extra brush.

    Overall happy to recommend.

No-nonsense brush which scrubs out most of the weeds between paving slabs so you won’t need to get down on your knees quite so often to pull them out with a hand tool.
It scoops out soil which might have accumulated beneath the gravel, but it’s a quick tidy-up job to get things looking neat again.
