This is a proper, stiff, yard broom.
The handle is in sections so can be taken apart for storage.
It seems robust and has been doing a great job at keeping our patio clear.
I like the length of the handle which is adjustable and sturdy the weight is not too heavy the brush head is perfect for clearing my new patio area. Very happy with this brush. The price was reasonable too.
I was looking for a new garden hard brush, so when I came across this garden brush, I thought I would give it a go. I am glad that I did as this brush was just what I needed, at a great length and with great durability.
The brush comes in section as you get 4 steel poles for this outdoor hard brush, so fantastic the you can also take it to pieces for easy storage but I have hung mine up for easy and quick use. It is easy to assemble and very sturdy for any outdoor usage. The double-locking design in the handle allows you to adjust the telescopic pole to the length that you need and locks in position.
The stiff bristles are made of strong ABS material, making it very sturdy to use on wet or dry ground so the bristles should last for a long time. The head is also set at the 45 angle, making the brushing position a lot easier and comfortable to use.
The four main metal screw in poles are also very sturdy as on the ends of each pole are the built in ABS plastic screw in sockets where they screw together. Once all screwed into each pole the poles feel nice and strong, keeping the main poles in one sturdy pole.
Features:
13.4inch Stiff Synthetic Bristles
Telescopic 57″ Long Handle (double-locking design)
45 angle
Sturdy
Durable
ABS material

This is a decent broom with stiff bristles, perfect for general sweeping, but it doesn’t sweep the fine particles very well, you need a soft bristled brush for that.
It comes in sections that screw together easily, and the metal pole is nice and firm when assembled. I like that it’s easy to remove the pole from the head for storage if you’ve not much room, and it has a hanging hole at the top. You can also adjust the height by up to 7″ more by unclipping the tab at the top and twisting the pole to the left.
I am fairly small with weak joints and found it easier to sweep towards me.

This broom comes in a small, easy to deliver box, and you have to screw everything together it is fairly self-explanatory and takes but a few seconds to do.
The top handle has a lever which is very easy to articulate and allows the broom handle to extend, even beyond what I require as a 6’2″ bloke, though at full length there is a bit of a bend starting to happen.
The brush its self seems fine, its a hard plastic bristle type, so ideal for outdoor work.
The handle of this broom is composed by three separate parts, so you can remove the middle section and make it shorter if required. The bristles are quite stiff (even managed to remove some small patches of moss, but not suitable for it however) and clean very well coco mats, but at the same time more effort is required to sweep the paving for example due to the firmness of the brush. The broom isn’t suitable for detailed sweeping, but rather to keep the pathway/pavement clean. The handle is made from metal and the other parts – from plastic; some assembly takes place before you can use the broom, but it’s not hard at all and gets done in minute or so. The only thing that keeps bothering me a bit is that the top plastic/rubber handle (where the hanging opening is positioned) isn’t fixed well and moves around the rod, which isn’t ideal at all, but still – easily fixed with a bit of DIY.
As a 6′ tall man, I often get frustrated with short brushes and mops, which require me to bend over all the time to reach the floor. So, I was very pleased to find this brush with an extra-long handle, and adjustable too.
It comes in a very sturdy brown card box (not sure why). And the brush itself comes in 5 pieces, to facilitate shipping. Head, handle, and three pole parts. The metal pole screws together, and I was surprised at how sturdy and robust this is. The handle has a nice large grip and incorporates a lever which allows an inner section to the extended. This gives a slight adjustability to the length. Tip you could also remove one of the pole sections if decided, to make it shorter. So combined with the adjustable handle gives a wide combination of lengths. The brush head is very sturdy with a large screw clamp to attach it to the pole. I think this is a good solid design, as the pole is not attached with screws or separate brackets. The bristles on the brush are a good length and very firm. Ideal for working in the garage or garden, sweeping leaves and grass etc.
A well thought out design, solidly built, adjustable and has a good length handle for taller people. A great brush that will get a lot of use in the garden. Great value and is highly recommended.
The Mitclear Yard Broom arrived quickly and was well packaged. The thing that attracted me to this product was the fact that the handle length can be adjusted, so I thought I would try it out as part of the Vine Program.
It comes in a disposable cardboard box and is self-assembly – it isn’t hard to work out which pole connects to which – there is a top pole, two open-ended poles, and one bottom pole with a closed end. The white connector on the broom handle unscrews, the assembled poles push in, and the connector is screwed tight (or so I thought…).
To adjust the length of the handle there is a clip that locks or unlocks, which gives the best size suited for all that use it. Again, simple to work out.
After a while, when using the brush for the first time, the brush head started to swivel – it turned out that the white connector that attaches the pole had either come loose, or had not been tightened up sufficiently – a better tighten, and there have been no further problems (so far…). However, it is something to watch out for. The brush head performed well at shifting the debris from our yard.
At 11.89, it is reasonably priced (at time of writing) for a collapsible, adjustable stiff broom.
