This is a new product (April24) i had some initial problems with the software when charging it the first time. It never indicated fully charged but in actuality was. Communication with customer service was very good however and the unit works grea
Pros:
Same functionality as its predecessor but much smaller in size and easier to hide.
Works fine
Calls the user when there is motion and the fob is not nearby.
Can connect to multiple fobs
Can add multiple devices to your account
Cons:
Has rings to tie up only from one side and the other ends is more difficult to secure.
Cannot just check the location on demand without turning on “stolen mode”.
The Monimoto 9 GPS tracker is the latest version so far and it offers easy, tool-free installation. The compact, durable design works for motorcycles, cars, ATVs, and RVs. We are using it for our sedan and it was easy to install. There is real-time global tracking with an international e-SIM and you can set up instant alerts via phone call or text message if there are suspected unauthorized movements. It does require a $49/year subscription after a two-month free period.
The device is sturdy and quality with IP68 water and dust resistance, and it has a long-lasting USB-C rechargeable battery. The GPS uses a user-friendly mobile app that facilitates tracking, geofence boundaries, and multiple devices. So far, it has reliable performance and is a cost-effective solution for protecting your vehicle.
This anti-theft GPS and alarm tracker set is very useful for highly dangerous stuff that can get stolen. Easy to install with magnet and works well after setup on the phone.
Monthly fee is not cheap but similar to other competing products. First two month is trail period so free. This is worth it only for very valuable stuff in dangerous areas.
I have Updated my Moni Moto to the Moni Moto 9 , A Great Tracker and even Smaller than the Previous Models so Easier to hide in your Motorcycle . Works a Treat and the Tracker itself is Rechargeable as an added Bonus . Would Highly Recommend this Tracker and the Selle
Just installed this on one of my hot rods. I live in the OH country and have a 100K+ custom hot rod in storage there and since I don’t trust anyone, I wanted to make sure that I could track down my vehicle, if it were ever stolen from my property. It’ a loud vehicle and everyone within miles knows I have it every time I start it up and run it for a while. Anyhow, setting this thing up was a breeze in my case. I had no problem configuring it GPS, despite living in a dead zone in OH. I was able to hide it inside of the frame rail, so it’s undetectable. I’m an electronics engineer by trade, so I bypassed the internal battery of the device and linked it to an in-frame high-capacity battery (which is fully charged by the vehicles main battery) that can keep this device alive for more than a year, even if the vehicles battery is disconnected. I feel much safer now, knowing that my 1955 Jaguar show car is monitored. The monitoring fee is a bit high (but from what I can tell, almost every one of these after-market GPS tracking plans are expensive) but it’s not far from other competitors. It’s all worth it to me, as long as I can track down a would-be car thief, if the need ever arises. The app is easy to use btw, making the potential need to recover my vehicle a straight-forward task if the need ever arises. Recommended.
This set up pretty easily and after charging up the battery I did a couple of test runs with it. So far it seems fine, notifying me by phone. I did longer range tests, so I was out of reach of the fob. The battery seemed ok so far, but a year seems a little optimistic. Both units are really small, so it can be hidden anywhere and won’t be found unless you’re really looking for it. So if you want to actually hide it, no one will know it’s there.
Something like this is hard to evaluate out of the gate, so I plan on coming back with more info on this evaluation. So far it seems pretty good.

Monimoto 9 Anti-Theft GPS and Alarm Tracker – DIY Installation, No Wiring, Waterproof. This is a nice alternative to onstar ETC. It’s really easy to hide in your car. I did some testing and if someone steals your car you WILL be able to find it. I had this up and running in under 20 minutes. The bummer is the yearly fee. I have two months free so I have not be charged yet. However they say it’s $49 a year. I saw someone else say it was $600 a year. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. They say $49 . We will see. I will update if it’s more than $49. You need to decided if the $49 is worth it. Would be better if you got a year free for the price. If someone takes my car I want to know when it is a fast as possible. So it is worth it to me.
After scouring the market for an alarm or tracker, I wound up getting both a disk lock/alarm and this Monimoto unit. It’s quite useful. If I open the garage door and move the bike out, but I don’t have the Monimoto fob on me, by the time I close the door my phone sounds off with a text message and a voice call. The text message shows where the bike is on the map. From my tests, it’s accurate within a few feet. The monthly fee for this unit is much cheaper than other trackers. I eval’d one other brand but sent it back. This Monimoto unit is rechargeable and the battery is good for about a year between charges. The gizmo you have to mount/hide on your bike is self contained, needs no connection to the bike battery, it’s about 1/2 the width and thickness of a pack of cigarettes, easy to stash somewhere. I recommend this.
And if anyone’s interested, I bought the Xena XX15 disc lock, has audible motion sensor alarm, phone app connectivity, etc.
Was a little hard to set up properly, couldn’t get any GSM signal for it to verify itself. Once I drove around and the GPS found some signal, it’s been great since.
