In 1853, Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors. By the turn of the century, the company had shifted its focus to highly successful wood-burning stoves. In 1915, the company was granted the title “Royal Purveyor to the Court,” a distinction Morsø still holds today.
