I am very pleased with this gopro wrist strap kit. I only wish I had it in time for my recent trip. I would have loved to record some rollercoasters with this thing! I was forced to hand hold my gopro on rides that allowed it. (which I must say there aren’t many)
What I like.
The strap and velcro is very secure. I completely trust how well it holds in place.
Fits the gopro mounting point perfectly and holds the gopro very steady.
I love the swivel function. Pressing the metal button on the side of the base allows you to swivel the top and lock your camera at 90 degrees.
What I dislike.
I wish that the unit was lower profile. Unfortunately most of these style swivel units are similar in their height. The gopro standing up quite high from the wrist. This is partially a fault of the gopro mounting design but It would be nice if these mounting mechanisms were somehow shorter!
I would have liked the ability to swivel the go pro into more positions. Such as 45 deg. But you’re either straight on, or 90 degrees only.
Verdict.
Despite the couple small issues, I really like this kit. The strap is secure and fairly rugged. I trust that my gopro will stay firmly attached. I’m looking forward to a new method of taking my gopro on adventures. Maybe mountain biking will be next! Worthy of consideration.
I got this to use with both an Akaso action camera I have as well as an Orcatorch dive light that uses the same type of mount. I haven’t had an opportunity to scuba dive with this yet, so haven’t tried it with the dive light, but it works very well with the action camera.
Pros:
Uses standard camera mount hardware
It has a magnet to hold the top part on, in addition to the double press locking hardware. I find that this helps align the mount with the wrist hardware much more easily that would be possible without the magnet.
It has the ability to rotate 360 degrees in 90 degree increments, which give a lot of options for how to point the camera which isn’t as easy when its mounted to your wrist as it is when you’re just holding it in your hand

The wrist band itself is comfortable
The wrist band has two sets of velcro. The first is used to make the initial placement on the wrist. The second is like a velcro watch band and it allows you to really tighten down the band to make sure it won’t fall off if you’re doing something extreme like white water rafting.
Cons:
While the hardware that attaches directly to the wrist band is metal, the hardware that attaches to your camera is plastic, which means that this is the part most likely to break and lose your expensive equipment. I’d recommend purchasing a secondary metal mount instead.
The wrist band is a bit difficult to put on and once it’s on, it’s difficult to adjust, so make sure you get it exactly how you want it the first time.
Bottom line: This is a mostly great quality wrist band for use with action cameras or lights and it has features I’ve never seen before like a magnet and the ability to rotate the mount. I would just recommend getting some additional metal hardware to replace the disappointing plastic pieces.
Good quality and value for the money. A great way to keep your hands free, yet still have control of your GoPro. Super easy to attach/detach. Just have to be mindful of where your hand is place while wearing it to avoid having loads of hand shots in your video.
Everything I have ordered from this brand in any type of camera gear has been top quality and I think this item is no exception. I was very pleased that the mechanism to hold the camera to the wrist band is not only magnetized but twist-locks in place too. Magnet was strong. The gold clips to push to release make it a cinch to do. The wrist band is comfortable and has a long velcro closure strap so you likely could put it around the upper arm and it would still fit. The only thing I don’t like is how large the screw-pin that fastens to the camera itself is. Surely it could have been a smaller plastic handle as it is very noticeable and large. Seems to be standard size screw so maybe one from a different kit can be subsitituted when I use it. Overall, very pleased!
This is a comfortable and secure wrist mount for any camera that uses the standard action cam mount. The strap is wide, and feels good on the wrist, and I really like the double velcro straps to really ensure it is not going to accidentally come off your wrist. I love the magnetic quick mount system – it is so easy to use, and makes putting the camera on and off the mount super easy. I like that you can pivot the camera to point in different directions, but I wish it was more than just a 90 degree allowance, as it definitely limits things depending on how you want to shoot. It is neoprene type material, which is good for water I guess, but it feels like it would take quite awhile to dry off. I guess I’ll find out. The inner neoprene wrap/velcro is not super long – more than long enough for most bare wrists, but would be difficult to use if you are trying to use it over a thicker sleeve or something. All in all a decent value for what you get, especially if you can get the 30% off coupon.
This is a high quality product by NEEWER for use with Action Cameras such as GoPro, DJI, Insta370 and ASASO. It basically is an Adjustable Arm Band that holds your Action Camera firmly on a magnetic head that rotates and locks/unlocks into place in the direction where you want to record video.
There is a button on the base and two buttons on the magnetic head which allow a sequence of pressing, rotating and locking to achieve different directions. Both buttons on the magnetic head need to be pressed to allow rotating the magnetic head and this will remain fluid until the lock point is reached. If the bottom button is pressed it will also allow the magnetic head to turn and remain fluid until the lock point is reached.
So let’s say your are riding your bike and want to film what’s in front, you rotate the head forward and lock, if you want to film what’s on your left, you rotate left and lock, if you want to film what’s on your right, you rotate, unlock magnetic head, lift and place back on base in other direction and lock. Doing this easily and securely while riding maybe a problem, so better to stop and make desired changes.
There are probably many creative ways to use this wrist band and I will use this snorkelling, kayaking, with my paddle board and any other useful ways I can think of.
Adjustment was tricky the first time, but I got it to hold firmly and it was tight on my arm (which was bare), but with sweaters, shirts, jackets, gloves maybe be trickier to adjust.
I really like the magnetic rotating head, as it also allows me to quickly remove the Action Camera to hold in my hands.
It is a quality product that looks solid with the 4 rivets securely holding the base to the wrist band and the thick and strong velcro attachments to your arm. The magnetic head is all metal and is strong even when unlocked from base.
This is well made and provides a secure connection, but I find limited use for the wrist mount. If you are moving much, that will translate to shaky footage on even a well-stabilized action camera.
This is a very solid, thoughtfully and precisely made piece of equipment, I’m really surprised at the quality considering the low price. The strap is very comfortable and has two separate velcro bands to make sure it’s secure and won’t detach. With how light it is and good material, even hours of wearing the strap isn’t too annoying. The upper mechanism is very precisely made, and can attach and detach magnetically, making it easy to attach or take off the camera as needed. The first shots I took weren’t too impressive honestly, the wrist angle seems like a tricky one for accurate videos. But that’s due to user error and experience, not any fault of the item itself. This is a great camera equipment and super helpful to have.
