his is a very neat and convenient way to charge your controller. simply drop it in and walk away, then just pick up and go. its dead easy. the main unit doesn’t quite match the colour of the standard ps5 controller, but that’s a very minor issue. given the combined height and the location ive placed it, means the height clearance for retrieval is a bit snug, and i probably would have been better off with a slightly more horizontal charging position for my controller, but i can think about that at a later time.

The white colour is the same as the ps5 console so it all matches and looks nice sat there with my edge controller in it.
Charging is quick and so your ready to go in about an hour and half.
For currently 16.99 I’d say that’s a bargain price and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Works great to charge my PS5 controller, shows me when it’s full, just needs plugging in to a USB port or charge plug and then place your PS5 controller on it and it’ll start to charge. Seemed to charge fairly fast too.
This is a brilliant gadget for any PS5 owners. I sometimes forget to connect my controller to the console for charging after playing. This results in me finding my controller dead when I am about to start gaming next time. With this handy little device, that can be placed pretty much anywhere, I never forget to hock up my controller once I am done playing. I then get a fully charged controller ready to game.
This station is also well made and look pretty cool with its LEDs. Because of its design, controller automatically aligns to the charging dock when dropped onto the station. It is also a fast charger that fully charges a controller in about an hour or so. This station comes with a standard USB type C cable that can be plugged into not only your PS5 console, but pretty much any compatible power source. It is also lightweight yet stable when placed at a surface, thanks to its non-slippery base. I also think it is priced very reasonably so offers good value for money (currently for just 16.99 with a promotion).
All in all, very pleased with this stylish and practical charging station for my PS5 controller. Would definitely recommend and rate it 5 stars.
This is ideal for charging my son’s PS5 controller. It is small and lightweight unlike some other charging docks that can be heavy and bulky, it fits perfectly on the small shelf in his bedroom.
It’s not wireless but it does come with the
USB-C cable that’s required. The only downside is that the lead isn’t very long.
The dock looks smart and it matches the controller well as they are both white. There is an LED light on the front that indicates when the controller is charging. I notice that in the Amazon photo it also shows lights around the holes where the charger slots into. There are no lights like that on the dock that I have, just the indicator light at the front.
Very easy to use and handy to have! Would make a great gift for someone who has a PS5.
TL-DR: This PS5 controller charging dock is a convenient and stylish option. It’s easy to use, looks good, and charges your controller securely. However, the price might be a bit steep for a single-controller dock, and the “fast charging” claim might be a bit misleading. If those aren’t dealbreakers for you, this dock is a solid choice.
First things first, this dock is easy to use. You literally just drop the controller in, and it starts charging. No more fumbling with cables or worrying about getting the pins lined up just right. That’s a big plus for me, especially after my last finicky charger. Plus, the dock itself looks pretty sharp. It matches the PS5 nicely and has a small footprint, so it doesn’t take up a ton of space on my desk.
Another perk is the auto shut-off feature. No more worries about overcharging the controller if I leave it on the dock all night. It also has a handy LED light that lets you know when the controller is juiced up and ready to go.
There are a couple of things to consider, though. First up is the price. This dock is on the pricier side compared to some other options out there, especially considering it can only charge one controller at a time. If you have multiple controllers and need to keep them all charged up, this might not be the best fit.
Also, while the dock advertises fast charging, some reviews I read suggested it might not be a significant difference from regular charging. I haven’t timed it myself, so I can’t say for sure.
Pros:
– the controller slots in neatly and easily and charges straight away. No awkward fumbling around trying to get it locked in place (and no need for any additional dongles or doodads to connect to your controller – this works straight out of the box).
– pretty small footprint on top of your tv unit/desk, etc.
– blue light up logo looks nice.
– charges on par with official PS dock.
– it is compatible with the Dualsense Edge pro controller.
Cons:
– it feels *very* lightweight and kind of cheap. Also, I don’t think it looks particularly attractive (but I don’t think the official PS dock looks that great either). I’ll never be a fan of glossy, fingerprint-magnet black plastic.
– only charges one controller at a time. This is 19-24 (depending on deals/vouchers currently on offer) – you can pick up the official Sony PS dock that charges TWO controllers simultaneously for around the same price point (especially around Black Friday and Christmas deals).
Therefore, it’s a good charging dock for single controllers, but if I was personally making recommendations, I’d say get the official PS dock for just a couple quid more and have a dual charging dock that feels more premium.
I had a couple of Dualsense chargers in the past and both were susceptible to the Duelsense controller slipping off the charging contact.
This charger eliminates that problem by incorporating a stable resting recess for the Duelsense body and solid connection.
Aesthetically, it looks great and as shown in my pictures, it matches superbly with my PS5, PSVR2 and VR2 controllers.
However, the fast-charging claim is nonsense because the input power of the charger is only 5V, 1A = 5W. 5W is not a fast charge rating but on top of that, the Duelsense does not support fast charging anyway! 1.5 hours is the normal charging time whatever USB-C cable and charger is used. It won’t charge any faster. The Duelsense battery is 3.65V 1.56A = 5.694W (so basically 5W)
But aside from that nonsense about fast charging, I am delighted with this and still give it full marks.
I really like this charging dock. It’s made from a very nice plastic and has a quality feel about it. It utilised the bottom connector of the PS 5 joyride and it’s very easy to just drop tech controller in with it auto-aligning to the charging pins. Because of the drop in design of the dock it was not compatible with some of my joypads with aftermarket rear paddles attached. This is not a fault of the dock and it worked fine with my non-modified joypads. A cable is included to connect the dock to one of the rear ports on the back of the PS5. I really like the subtle RGB “hoops” that light up and provide a guide as to the charging status of the joypad.
Overall, a high quality charging dock that ultimately provides a fully charged joypad for you when you come to play. Just make sure to adjust the PS5 system settings to provide power to the ports when it’s in sleep mode to enable the dock to charge the pad.
