Easy to use, Works well, overall it works as intended. Only issue I had was sometimes when moving the cable the alternate head would pop off but apart from that everything works fine and I am happy with the product.
The way this cable is designed is very clever. They have made the connectors with a zinc allow which is really strong and doesn’t rust either. At one end you have a USB-A connector and at the other end a Lightning connector. The clever bit is that the connector at each end lifts up and away to reveal a USB-C connector underneath. This allows you to have so many combinations that you will be able to charge most modern devices. I say modern because what this doesn’t have is the older style Micro USB connector which older devices will have on them. However, I’m glad they have done away with that as I find the Micro USB connector used less and less on devices and it would have just been wasted on a great cable such as this. If you want to charge a Micro USB device then it’s best to keep a separate cable just for that.
The cable on this isn’t your standard round cable, but flat instead, but it is still nylon braided and should last you just as long as any other cable. The fact that it is flat makes it so much easier to coil up and put in your bag as it takes up a lot less space. This is what makes it ideal for traveling as with this one cable you will be able to charge nearly everything so you don’t have the need to carry multiple cables and even the one cable you do have will take up less space then a regular round cable.
I won’t go over the performance figures here as you can see those in the advert, but lets just say that this is a really high performance cable that is so versatile due to the clever design of the connectors and very durable thanks to the nylon braiding.
Nohon charger cable is a Swiss Army Knife of a cable with its 4 in 1 design, also unusual is the flat braided cable not sure if it’s longer lasting and more durable than the usually rounded cable, time will tell…
The out-of-the-box connection is USB-A -Lightning with a quoted 12 watts charging power, so I powered up my iPad and despite it being over 90 percent charged, I got 12 watts charging which is about the norm…
One tug on each end of the cable and it reverts to a USB-C – USB-C charger capable of 67 watt charging, It charges my phone at 20 watts again this is a speed I would expect.
So its unique features aside would separate cables be better value and be less hassle to use…
This cable charger allows USB-A – Apple charging, USB-A-USB-C, USB-C- Apple, and USB-C-USB-C, all at high speeds… and the procedure to change between the connectors is a simple pull and twist, it’s harder to explain than do…
For me, the design just works and it does away with the need for 2 other cables, so less mess and the cable works at each configuration.
