This is a great little friendship bracelet making kit for kids (boys & girls) and adult beginners — Swifties or not! Although the kit is quite basic, it includes everything needed to make some lovely bracelets. There is a braiding loom that doubles as a storage box for all the accessories which include threads, elastic bands/cords, pendants, hairbands, pegs, buttons, stickers and a handbook that has diagrams with step-by-step instructions showing 10 different knotting styles using the loom, and different styles/uses for braids. Also included, are a round and a square knitting board with additional threads and user instructions with diagrams. The kit is described as being for kids aged 6-12 years — and the safety warning on the box is “Not suitable for children under 3 years.”. At the time of writing the price for the kit is 15.99 (which includes a 6% discount) and there is currently a voucher for a further 30% off — with the discount, I consider it to be good value for money. The kit is very nicely packed and would be a great gift.
I got this to have a go at making friendship bracelets with my niece, who is almost 11. We both found the instructions very easy to follow, and together we were able to make a variety of designs and colours. Looking forward to making some headbands next!
This bracelet-making kit has been a big hit with my kids. It’s fun and allows them to be creative with their designs. The pre-cut threads are convenient and the instructions are easy to follow. However, some of the smaller pieces can be a bit fiddly for younger children. It’s a great activity for parties or rainy days. Overall, it’s a fantastic kit that keeps kids entertained and creative.
I bought this for my 9-year-old niece for her birthday. She was very excited to use this to make some bracelets herself and her friends. My niece has phoned me to say that she’s made the bracelets now and it was very easy to use and very fun to do on an evening. The bracelets look fantastic. There’s lots of sting, accessories and tools and the board is great and a good size. I really like the inclusion of a square and round knitting boards and the pendants are especially nice and really appealed to the kids. The instructions are a little on the small side but they’re easy enough to follow and even younger children from about 5 up should be fine with this with adult supervision.
It’s good for creativity and developing fine motor skills as well as following instructions. You can create a lot with this. Recommended.
This is a nice little set that comes in an attractive box so would make a nice gift for a child. It is not too difficult to do following the instructions provided, although some children may require the help of an Adult.
There are plenty of colourful threads and pendants, and my 10 year old niece had lots of fun creating bracelets with me yesterday.
This is the kit that keeps on surprising. You get an incredible amount of material and bracelet making supplies and an information leaflet on how to use the kit and make a great array of things.
The main bracelet maker is so lovely and will grace any craft shelf. I love the butterfly clip to open it. Inside there’s the pegs to make the various bracelets and lots of threads to make them in a lovely bright selection of colours. The charms for pendants are exceptionally good quality. You also get two other boards to make different styles of braids and bracelets. There are even a couple of headbands to cover with your braids. A lovely creative kit and at an amazing price.
