We used this as a little smores station for a summer get together and it was a hit! Simple to set up, and sturdy. I used it on a heat proof mat to be on the safe side but I’m sure it would be fine on concrete. Relatively light even though it’s quite solid. Great value for the price and much more sustainable compared to the disposable ones that you usually get in this size.

Really lightweight grill. I was expecting that it will be tiny compact one so was pleasantly surprised that it is actually not so tiny. Saying that, this might be something that people will be looking for, for it to be compact. However it is really very light and so easy to carry around. Great for picnic in a park.

This fantastic little equipment folds up to provide maximum portability, making storage and transportation a breeze. Its design is straightforward and efficient, and disassembling it to clean the separate parts is a breeze. Because it has a finer grill plate that allows less food to fall through, I get roughly twice as much grill space as I did with the disposable ones. There is plenty of room for charcoal in the deep bowl.
For the price, the quality is approximately what you would anticipate.

I didn’t expect much for the price which at the time of ordering this was 16.99, but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t too bad, small and compact, with airflow design having been thought of. The grill itself is chromed, not perfectly straight, but acceptable without any sharp edges. Very easy to put up and take down. The material it is made from should allow it to last a few seasons if kept out of the elements.

The one downside is that it doesn’t come with any sort of carry bag, so you’re going to have to resort to keeping or traveling with it in the box. Care will be needed as there are no stays to keep the legs from folding in if anyone does accidentally knock it.

Overall, it isn’t too bad at all, however, due to the lack of a bag which would have been welcomed at the higher price it is now, the lack of some sort of leg safety stays, it brings the stars down a bit for me, especially at the current price of 24.99 now.

I already have a gas barbecue, but miss the taste of food cooked on charcoal, so I thought this would be a good way to have a second barbecue for occasional use.

It was easy to set up, and with a 3kg bag of charcoal and some lighter fluid, we were away! It’s a great size for a family – we easily cooked 4 burgers, 12 sausages and some vegetable skewers. (And everything tasted amazing!).

Clean up was easy – just lift the rack when cooled, and tip out. The barbecue can then folded and stored in the box, making it very portable and convenient.

The quality isn’t the best – the metal is quite lightweight and flimsy, but considering the price point it’s great.

I actually got this for personal BBQ’s in my garden as I live alone so don’t need a huge cooking area and this will work perfectly for me.

It’s a good job really as the box which you are supposed to carry it around in came with a damaged handle so it would not be possible to carry it in the box

The product I received differs from the images, not massively, but enough that you question whether the right one arrived. However it seems to be perfectly serviceable as long as you avoid the sharp edges which there are a few.

There are no instructions so you have to decide for yourself. My though is that the solid steel (with holes) charcoal partition needs to be installed so the sides are down to allow a flow of air to reach the charcoal, otherwise it wouldn’t be needed.

That is indeed correct having cooked on it last night, and the gap below the charcoal does allow a flow of air to improve the speed in the BBQ reaching the desired heat.

It will be interesting to see how long it lasts, but I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t. Having cooked on it last night (I used a bag of charcoal, which perfectly fits within the product to give an even cooking across the whole base). The BBQ itself was on a table and no issues with the legs heating.

I originally rated as 3 stars but have upgraded to 4 stars as I’m really impressed with how simple yet effective the BBQ is to cook on. Clean up is easy, just leave it overnight (another reason I wouldn’t want to use it away from home) empty out and a quick wipe with an old paint brush to clear away any ash.

Happy to recommend for home use, not so sure about using away from home

It’s hot, and that means it’s BBQ time!

This portable grill is perfect for quick BBQ’s. It’s made from thin metal, but feels very sturdy and won’t collapse mid-grill. The legs unfold effortlessly and lock into place once pushed to their positions.

The inner tray is super-handy for easily removing old charcoal to dispose of, and looks easy to clean.

The top grill just comes off, no annoying latches or catches, just lift it off to get to the charcoal holder.

Once folded up, it can easily be slid back into its box. very handy, as larger barbeques can be a annoying to store when not in use and end up in the corner of the garden rusting away and covered in spiderwebs – I have two that are in this state from last years barbeque.

It’s quite wide and can cook around 5 medium-sized steaks in one go, or maybe 6 burgers – the photo includes an apple for scale so that you can judge if it will have enough space for you.

Height-wise, it’s quite low to the floor, so please do keep pets away as they can easily reach the top of it – maybe have it sitting on top of some bricks.

At 16.99, it seems pretty decent considering you can use it over and over.

Edit: I’ve now actually had the chance to use it, and it’s been brilliant. It handles 4 burgers, 4 kebabs and some sausages in one go. It didn’t feel like it was going to collapse at the peak of usage, and a few days later, it cleaned up really well – it wasn’t spotless, but there were no warps in the metal. I can see the price increased to 20 but I still think that it’s worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great low-budget grill that folds away very easily
