The wire is very long and despite it being bright white, my family still trip over it. It reaches across the room. Buttons are very loud but it works. Can’t really ask for much more than tha
Long cable. Works fine used for a few weeks now. Does feel a little less robust than original controller but so far works fine, no issues with buttons or sticks. No problems switching over to using this for all games. Feels comfortable, lighter than original controller though maybe due to no batteries required.
Amazing for the price so long as it lasts well. Been running without issue for about a month now and it’s had a fair amount of use already. Also nice to not have to worry about charging it so long as a cable doesn’t bother you. IT’S HOW WE ALL USED TO GAME! ontop of this the cable is detachable so can be replaced if it ever fails.
It feels very close to an official Microsoft controller other than the triggers. The 3.5mm jack also puts out just as good sound as Microsofts wireless conterparts so it’s great for using with a headset.
Only thing I would say is that it wouldn’t be a great option for racing fans as the analogue triggers don’t have nearly as much travel as the offical Microsoft controller. If you need to save the money though they will still do the job just fine.
Overall would really recommend so far.
Will update if any issues arise in the future.
Power A always provide the best. I have had a few pads from them and they are built brilliant. Solid and nice to hold, exactly like an official pad. The extra long cable is a saver as it also doubles for a phone charger when the pad is not in use. Price is well worth it, shipping is fast and the colour is as bright as in the picture. There is no delay with input commands and the pad plugs straight in and works as an Xbox one does. Perfect all round
This is a brilliant controller with great powerful feedback vibration motors, the appearance of this controller is excellent and the sound quality isn’t too bad when using headphones/ headset. It is highly durable.
I have owned this controller for around a year now and still find myself blown away by the value it provides.
I do not use it much anymore as I am often to busy so durability may have more of an impact with others.
Two Paddle controllers are always better imo, four is excessive, I prefer the button feel these backbuttons provide as opposed to the scuf impact which I have prevously owned. I have also owned the Astro C40, the backbuttons on this feel similar.
Would recommend to anyone on a budget, the astro c40 will always be my favourite controller but is not the most cost efficient and parts are incredibly hard to obtain if they break, which, believe it or not, they do!
I moved to this from my original Fusion Pro I’ve owned for serveral years. My only reason for replacing it is that my son lost the metal flippers off the back so I can’t use it any more.
I’ve only used it for a few hours so far and functionally I have no issues apart from I seem to be accidentally pressing the back buttons on the underside more than my old Fusion Pro (mixture of poorer ergonomics and the weight (or lack of) IMO)
Can’t really complain, but this feels significantly cheaper than the old one. I’d guess it’s just that weight that makes it feel cheap, but it makes all the difference, I’ve even considered seeing if I could open it up and drop some weights in the handles to help. Overall the general feel in my hand is that it isn’t as premium a product as previous iterations of the Fusion Pro (aforementioned weight as well as less comfortable finish and it feels a little rough in the hand). If it wasn’t for the back triggers I really wouldn’t be able to tell you the difference between this and Power-A’s cheapest controllers that you can buy for around 30.
I loved the original Fusion pro, it was a real contender to the Elite controller, but now I’m not sure it’s still worth the premium price. Next time I’ll spend the extra and get something like an Elite or Scuf (I’ll do this as soon as either of these release a controller with hall effect sticks).
This is a really good controller, it fits well in the hand, is very responsive and is very good value for what it is, if I get a years use out of it’ll be a good deal which is about as long as the official controllers last, it’s mad, really, these things are obviously not made very well.
I was pleasantly impressed by the affordable gaming device called the PowerA Wired Controller for Xbox. Its style is very similar to the official Xbox controllers, and it has sensitive buttons and a pleasant grip. Although not as well-built, it provides dependable performance with less input latency thanks to its wired connection.
A unique feature is the ability to personalise the back buttons, which is very helpful for competitive gaming and they feel just the same as other Xbox controllers which is definitely a plus.
The PowerA controller also offers outstanding value for the money despite lacking wireless capability and a few premium features. This controller is a good alternative if you’re searching for a cheap solution that doesn’t skimp on performance.
Overall, I’d rate it a 4/5.
