The magnetic charging port is great—no more fussing with batteries, which makes it super convenient and eco-friendly. The battery level indicator on the display is really helpful, as I can easily see when it needs charging. I love the temperature range alarm feature; the color-changing ring lets me know if the water is too hot, too cold, or just right, giving me peace of mind during bath time with my little one. The adorable penguin design is a huge hit with my toddler, making bath time more enjoyable for both of us. The thermometer is also accurate and quick to display the water temperature, especially when I gently stir the water. Overall, this bath thermometer is both practical and fun—definitely a must-have for parents. Highly recommend it!
Usually 14.99 but currently on offer for 13.99, this is one of those items I didn’t know I needed before having a baby but I relied on it everyday. We’ve moved on a little from the elbow dip to test the water, this gives an accurate reading which gives peace of mind that the water temperature is correct before bathing from newborn. It doubles as a bath toy too being a cute penguin, easy to charge with a magnetic usb charging cable.
This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I got this for my brother for his newborn baby the thermometer is chargeable and lasts a really long time after one charge once the thermometer is a penguin shape and sits on the side of the bath or in the bath
The LCD spread display shows the temperature and is just really cute
My brother’s wife loves it and said it was a great gift . Temperature readings are accurate as we have tested with the different thermometer.
This is a goodbye and definitely something I would recommend for any new parents.
I wouldn’t rely on it for precise temperatures but it seems mostly accurate for bath water. It’s a cool little design, I like that it’s a sea star also. I use this to make sure the water is the right temperature before bathing my pets and they have yet to complain so I’d say this thermometer is accurate enough for my needs but I’m not sure how accurate you’d need it to be for a baby?
This is really cute and easy to use. Easy to recharge. Great for little ones bath time as an extra safety measure to check the temperature of the water. Make sure you mix the water well for an accurate reading. Would make a lovely baby gif
When bathing babies and young children it’s essential to ensure the bath water isn’t too hot for their sensitive skin, but also hasn’t cooled so much that they end up chilled. We’ve tried other devices in the past; colour-changing ducks, a probe thermometer, the trusty elbow; but nothing has been as easy and accurate as this little penguin.
It floats in the bath so it can double up as a cute and fun penguin toy, and the digital temperature is displayed clearly and unambiguously within a coloured circle corresponding to the temperature. It’s self-explanatory: blue for too cold, red for too hot, and green for the ideal baby bath. The temperature sensing turns off after a while to conserve power and can be reactivated by lifting it in and out of the water.
The charging cable is a little fiddly to magnetically attach but I like that it can be recharged and used over and over again, and it only takes a few hours to fully charge.
I wondered why anyone would want one of these baby bath thermometers. For years-probably centuries-the hand has served as a perfectly good judge of water temperature. I decided to read up on the subject. It appears that I’m wrong. Babies are very sensitive to temperature and can quickly chill if a bath’s too cold. The ideal temperature for a bath is 37-38 C, which is a very narrow band and impossible to accurately judge by hand. So, to keep baby from chilling, or overheating this penguin does an excellent job. I tested the thermometer’s accuracy with a meat probe. Both readings were the same.
They say little things please little minds, it’s this penguins wink that sells it for me. He’s well made, cute and capable of standing up to chewing.
The 8.99 Bigkeyeoy are asking for this bath thermometer is very reasonable. Bath time is now a lot safer-and you have two cute things in your bath!
