This disposable toilet brush is a really good idea and very hygienic as the way it’s designed, you don’t have to touch the disposable pad in any way. Unfortunately it’s the build quality that lets this down.

The sponge pads all come with a hook at the top which you use to attach to the handle. The handle has a push down switch on it which automatically grips, and releases the pad without having to handle it at any point. The pads already have bleach in them, so you simply hook the pad on the handle, wipe the inside of the toilet until it is clean, then dispose of the pad by simply pushing the button to release the hook, and let it fall into a bin.

There’s no reason why this couldn’t have been a 5 star product because the idea behind it is fantastic. If they had just put some more effort into the build quality then it would have been a fantastic product. The quality of the storage holder and the brush handle is so poor that I nearly gave it 3 stars. The storage holder is made from some really thin lightweight material that it just looks awful. The brush handle looks even worse and there doesn’t seem to be any effort gone into making it look good at all. The switch and mechanism on it that is used to grip and ungrip the pad, seems like it will break with a bit of use and gives me no confidence in it’s durability and longevity at all.

In the end I decided to give it 4 stars simply because it’s just such a good idea that if I can get a better quality version of this then I would get one for both toilets and bathroom. Also on the plus side is that they give you 32 bleach-infused pads. It’s just as well that they have provided that many pads as the storage holder and brush handle you could easily get in a pound shop. It’s the fact that they have included 32 pads is what makes it just about cost effective.

I liked the idea of this toilet brush. Whilst it seems more wasteful, I’d rather a bit of waste to improve cleanliness. The kit comes with the brush in two pieces, the storage pot and plenty of cleaning pads. You simply clip a new head onto the brush handle using the lever and begin cleaning. The pad has toilet cleaner within the pad so no need for any more liquids.

I found it quite difficult to manipulate around the curves of the bowl as the end was quite floppy!

This brush arrives in two parts that you simply clip together. There is also a holder and an adhesive pad to attach this to the wall. You also get lots of cleaning pads, so they should last a little while.
After cleaning the wall I attached the sticky pad, then left it overnight to make sure it was secure. The holder takes 6 of the refil pads at a time and it’s very easy to clip the pads onto the handle, although I do find it easier if I turn the handle back to front.
I like that the pads are easy to get on and off the brush and that they can go straight into the bin once I’m done. There were a couple of things that stopped me giving it 5 stars though. The first is that although I find it easy enough to clean the bowl, once I try to clean the bend and anything under the water, it seems like the pad flips the wrong way very easily. It may be just the way I’m using it and it may get better as I find a good technique, but for now it’s a bit of a pain. The other small niggle is that you need to be sure to rinse any residue off the bowl after cleaning, otherwise it seems to dry to a chalky film over the china. Not the end of the world, but good to know.
Overall though, I like the disposable nature of the pads and the fact that there is no stagnent dirty water sitting at the bottom of a holder, as you get with a standard brush. I’ve seen the replacement heads available on Amazon, so it’s nice to know that they are readily available.
