Needed an adapter for my surface pro 8 and this works fine. Good quality with metal casing and good quality ports that are not too tight nor loose. Good deal for the set of three and does fast charge as advertised. Can’t really fault it as a product.
This pack of 3 USB A 3.1 (female) to USB C (male) converters seem robust and allow data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps. They also support 120W, 6 amp fast charging so should be suitable for charging most USB C devices if your cable allows it.
They are an extremely neat way of converting less recent cables and devices for use with modern computers, tablets, etc, most of which are now equipped with USB C Ports. For example I have a whole host of USB thumb drives with USB A plugs as well as external hard disks where the unique cable provided ends in a USB A plug.
In my view these are a far neater solution than other alternatives used for the same purpose. I am thinking here of cabled adapters. These small adapters just adding a couple of centimetres to the length of an existing cable, making them great when travelling, especially as the aluminium alloy construction makes them very light in weight.
The adapters seem very well manufactured and gave a satisfying click when being inserted. They are currently competitively priced at 9.99 with a 40% voucher for 3 adapters. However if the voucher is removed they will be pricier than some equivalents for sale on the Amazon site (though note that these are USB 3.1 capable, and not all are). So, these are very good adapters indeed, however they are not unique and so I will give them a rating of 4 stars.
