Used it for my travelling; good sound, a nice case, and a comfortable fit. Seems to last for a good while before needing charging.
Could’ve done with an app to control the settings though
Bought these for my wife and these are great value for money. Used on a plane and noise cancelling does work and was comfortably able to listen to a film and also drowned out noise of a baby crying. Obviously not as good as Bose but at a fraction of the cost these are grea
I got these free with the purchase of a Eufy camera, howerever at the time they should have cost 25-30, I have many different in ear wireless earphones, ranging from cheap 15 to Apple to Bose to AirPod Pro 2 and what I was surprised with was the sound quality from these. They aren’t quite as good as the Air Pods Pros but really aren’t far off, unlike the really cheap ones they come with an iOS/Android app that lets you customise them. The noise cancellation is also pretty effective, I can’t comment on call/mic quality though, in my ears they also feel comfortable. If I hadn’t got them free and I knew how good they were I would have purchased a pair to keep in my travel bag.
My first noise cancellation earbuds that seem to have good noise cancellation for the size and price.
Being in-ear with the noise cancellation mode they do cut out a good bit of background noise. Definitely help with my commute on the tube though they can’t cut out all the squealing of the tracks on the central line but for that you would need military grade headphones! I also use them on my rowing machine and doing light exercise. I’ve always found earbuds a little tricky but these stay in my ears mostly.
I like you can set three modes: Full cancellation, Normal (no cancellation), and Transparent ( hear your environment) this is good for hearing announcements etc.
Hands free calling seem okay though I do have to raise my voice more than when I used my wired speaker/phones.
I am very pleased with these earbuds for the price.
So I have had Bose quiet comfort, google pixel pros and multiple very high end gaming over ear headphones. I Brought these purely for work when my pixel buds in ear earphones ran out of battery. they are ok, for what you pay for you do get a decent earphone. if you’re coming from high end earphones then yes the noise cancelation is not really noise cancelling and you don’t get the crisp clear quality, but for a earphone you don’t mind dropping or using when your main ones run out of battery they are actually good.
they connect easily and work when you want them too. Personally I like them to have them laying around just in case. If I had to out them up against a known brand that I have owned, I would put them on par or just below the Razer hammerhead gen 1 ones, which are close to 60 so not a bad comparison I would say. The base and preset profile is ok but it would be nice to be able to change them in an app perhaps.
overall if you are looking for a cheap, in ear, slightly noise reducing and ok audio quality then these are well worth it. If you’re looking for crisp quality and ear defender level noise cancelling then clearly you aren’t getting that from these or any earphone at this price point so you’ll need to look at the 200 mark in my opinion.
After losing one of my EarFun Air earbuds on a bus. I decided to purchase the P3i earbuds.
I had originally shortlisted these two products but went for the EarFun Air’s based on the ‘What Hi-Fi’ review.
Having now tried both of these I can say that the P3i has the better sound, which can be adjusted via the app to suit your taste if required. The noise cancelling was surprisingly very good, although the sound quality dips a bit when it’s on. Just tried these on a flight and was very impressed with how effective it was, although you do need to get the correct bud size to ensure a good seal in your ear, otherwise the NC
effect is lost.
The thing that lets the P3i down is the case. As mentioned in other reviews it’s a bit flimsy. If you drop it, or it’s knocked over, the lid can easily open, and the earbuds fall out. The contacts between the buds and the power pins in the case are weak and contact is easily lost due to the loose fit in the case. The P3i’s are meant to disconnect when placed in the case and the lid closed. This didn’t happen when I first got them. I found my phone still connected several hours after I’d put the buds in the case. I cleaned the contacts as suggested and that appears to have fixed that issue for now. Unlike the EarFun Air, there is no visible sign that the earbuds are making contact, or being charged, when placed in the case. There was no sound out of one of my earbuds today. I think it hadn’t been charging. I placed it back in the case for a couple of hours after making sure it was properly seated and it’s now working again..
The EarFun case is more robust, the buds fit firmly into the case, the lid feels more secure and each bud has a led which flashes when placed in the case to show it’s connected and charging, plus the led on the case is muti-coloured to provide feedback on charging status, etc.
If the P3i case was as good as the one that comes with the EarFun Air, it would make this an exceptional product for the price.
