I have a few cases and have had the Z Fold3, Z Fold 4 and now the Z fold 5. All my previous cases proved useless when I dropped the phone as the first thing that gets damaged is the hinge! with this case I have dropped the phone a couple of time and once in gravel and yet not a mark on the phone! Will never compromise again on quality, well worth the money!!!
I have bought Spigen cases for many of my phones and even recommend them to family and friends.
You can buy cheap and buy twice! Yes I agree Spigen cases can be expensive but they last so much longer than the cheap knock off versions! A phone costing around 1900 needs a good quality case to ensure it is protected!
This case fits my Fold 6 PERFECTLY and feels durable!
While the case is great for protecting the phone it obscures part of the front screen and after 7 months of use the metal wire on the hinge protector actually snapped exposing the wire and kept getting trapped in the phones hinge causing deep scratches to the metal of the phone due to me not noticing i
ive dropped it twice, and had the phone with this case for 5 months. this imo is the only case for the fold 5. it protects the hinge and they have designed it to be used with the spigen screen protector sold separately for the fold 5. almost every other case with hinge protection puts a horrible built in screen protector to the front panel which always every single time collects dust and lint under the screen, making you always have dirt. i hate that. ive had this and the spigen glass protector for fold 5 all this time and so far its going very well. case is solid, not damaged in any way, keeping the phone safe, and it has no gaps at all, so the inner fold screen never gets dust or particles / dirt when putting it into a bag or a pocket. great case, please keep these in circulation. also thank you for the extra colours.
This review for the Z fold 5, fit is great on front and back. Back slides on and doesn’t move around
Front has movement and with those movements the microphone and speaker holes do move and block, have to constantly push back into place. the grips are never enough to hold it in place properly
Comparing the Z fold 3 and Z fold 5 cases the spine on the 3 was attached to the front which I find held it in place better than with the z fold 5 which has the spine attached to the back. This is what also causes the front to move around on the 5 case more than it did on the 3 case
Overall I would rate 4 star with aim of the product to protect the phone which it does
Spigen have never been a cheap case but they make up for it in protectio
I had this case on the Fold 4 and now the 5 folds flat it looks way less bulky.
However, at 90 it is just too expensive. No need for this Spigen. I get it’s an expensive phone but other manufacturers sell this style of case for 30-50.
Despite this it is highly recommended. You won’t find a better looking, fully protective case and believe me I’ve looked.
Ps. If you buy a magnetic ring, make sure you line it up as central as possible otherwise only wireless charging will work, not magsafe chargers.
