Cable is rather beefy and thick, does keep the headset at 100% nearly all the time.
I’ve had a few cases where it gradually dropped but plugging it in and out fixes this for some reason so only giving 4 star.
I Used the meta 3 charge cable and plug with this.
Definitely works and would recommend
The only one cable that really works with Meta Quest 3. I bought several of similiar cables before this one and none of them was able to charge my gogles while playing them. This one just works as it should to be.
Just what I wanted and needed but a bit too long, would be nice if it was sold in different lengths. Would be better if the USB A was removable.
This link cable ensures a smooth virtual reality gaming experience with its efficient PD fast charging and seamless connectivity. Its generous 16FT length allows for ample movement during gameplay, enhancing immersion without worrying about cable constraints. Whether diving into intense action or exploring virtual worlds, this cable offers reliability and performance, making it a valuable accessory for extended gaming sessions. While it may not be considered essential for all VR users, its convenience and enhanced gameplay make it a worthy investment for those seeking an immersive gaming experience without compromise.
Overall i have to commend this cable considering it’s built to a high standard and supports fast charging. It’s supposedly a revamped charging cable meaning it’s capable of fast charging my Meta Quest 3, as well as my old Quest 2, and it does so effortlessly. No more low battery anxiety is the obvious benefit with a product like this and means I can keep my VR headset fully topped up for longer periods of time.
I will gladly recommend this cable to those looking to extend their headset’s longevity. It’s a good value for money as well, can be used with multiple devices, and is built to a quality standard, and i’m happy as a result!
I use this charger as a spare, frequently, and it works as well as the original charger. I’m overall very happy with it and it does not seem to have any deterioration after weeks of use. Good quality cable
This link cable has been a convenient accessory for my VR gaming setup. With its compatibility and separate charging port, it ensures seamless connectivity and charging for my devices. The long length provides flexibility for movement during gaming sessions, while the durable construction ensures long-lasting use. While the specifics may vary, the overall convenience and functionality of the link cable are satisfactory, making it a valuable addition to my gaming setup.
The virtual world has never been more accessible, thanks to advancements in connectivity and charging. The frustration of interrupted sessions due to power issues is a thing of the past. This cable has reshaped my gaming experience, providing the freedom to dive deep into virtual realms without the constant worry about battery life. The secure connection and fast data transfer enhance the experience, making it seamless and immersive. It’s a game-changer in the truest sense, ensuring that the only limitation is how long I want to explore, not how long the battery can last.
Sadly, one of the biggest issues i have with my quest 2 headset, is the battery life, at best i can get 3 hours of gameplay, which means that i have to charge the headset a lot.
However, this is where this cable comes in handy, now i can simply have fast charge on and comfortably play for longer without an issue.
This is a huge 4.8m cable, it’s quite thick as well which means it can transfer data at high speeds, whilst at the same time being able to be charged up quickly enough that the battery life doesn’t completely drain whilst it’s being used.
A decent cable is really important to play on your pc, as to avoid latency as much as possible, some cheaper cables will not work as well and also not charge the device enough as it uses a lot more power than what the cables can charge, especially really long cables, as the energy doesn’t travel as well.
This cable is ace, there is another usb c connection for external power, so you can use the normal headset charger to charge it, and just extend the cable by 4m.
Really a must have.
I have been using this cable to pair my Quest 3 headset to my RTX 2070 Super powered PC. I usually use my wireless router and Virtual Desktop for more freedom and due to my old link cables poor performance, however this link cable has suffered none of the issues I was having previously! It connects first time whereas my old cable you had to plug things in in a certain order and sometimes it still wouldn’t connect. None of those issues here!
It charges with no issues whatsoever giving unlimited playtime (I did use the original 18w Meta charger). Performance wise it’s also been great, I did a few laps on Automobilista 2 (one of my favourite racing sims), first I played using Virtual Desktop and a wireless connection and then switched to this link cable and cable performed very well! gameplay was smooth and didn’t see any graphical issues.
If you’re thinking of trying out PCVR and don’t want to spend lots of money on a wireless router I can definitely recommend this link cable! it won’t give you the feeling of freedom that a wireless connection does but it’s still an excellent way to experience the world of PCVR! and if you mainly play racing games or flight sims then a cable won’t cause you any issues anyway.
Fundamentally, this is a very long USB Cable at 16 feet. It is just shy of 5 Metres long. It seems a well-made cable and is perhaps a little stiffer than some.
Aimed at those using VR headsets, it has an additional USB C socket in line to allow for a charger adapter to deliver power, so the headset or other connected device can both receive and send data and take charge at the same time.
This is a thick cable, feels like it has quality, and will be hard wearing. It’s 16ft long, which is more than long enough for most game play areas.
The fact you can plug this in, and use an 18w (or higher) charger, allows you to have limitless gaming, no more flat battery! Even if you use the standard 10w charger, it will still massively increase gameplay time.
The velcro strap not only keeps the cable coiled up nicely when you aren’t using it, but it allows you to secure it on the strap of your headset, taking pressure away from the actual connector.
I tried connecting the cable to my PC for link games, but couldn’t get it to work, although I expect this is more to do with my PC specs rather than the cable.
Overall a good quality cable, which allows you to massively extend gameplay. The only small downside is it’s slightly heavy, but i’d rather have the weight and a robust cable, rather than a light flimsy cable.

This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always review objectively, and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.
I use Virtual Desktop mainly but just for testing purposes am using this linkcable.
Wokrs absolutely flawless with charger connected to kep the Q3 battery from dying during long sessions.
Like all other link cables it is quite hefty and doesnt feel as free as wireless steaming but thats a given.
Main point being that it does keep the battery topped up. Good investment for someone who wants to dabble with PCVR side of things but their home wifi setup isnt quite optimal for wireless streaming
I recently recieved the Syntech Link Cable 16FT with PD Fast Charging and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The cable works great with my Oculus Quest 2, enabling continuous gameplay without any interruptions. The PD fast charging feature is a game-changer as it charges the headset allowing me to spend more time playing.
The cable is extra long and flexible, giving me the freedom to move around without any restrictions. This is a huge plus for anyone who loves to immerse themselves in virtual reality games. The display on the cable shows all the real-time information I need regarding the charge, which is very helpful in managing my playtime.
Installing the cable was a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions that came with it. I had everything up and running in just a few minutes. The quality of the cable is excellent, and I can tell it’s built to last.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Syntech Link Cable 16FT with PD Fast Charging to anyone who lives for VR play. It’s a must-have accessory that enhances the gaming experience and makes it even more enjoyable.
This is a very well built cable. It is super sturdy and a great length so I am able to play from my sofa.
Because the cable is so well built it is quite heavy/stiff and so does not lend itself too well to room scale gaming. I found it worked perfectly from a stationary point of view and this is how I am most likely to use it.
As per the instructions, this needs an external charger to keep the charge topped up while playing, and when using one this works perfectly.
I think given the quality of the cable, this represents excellent value for money – as above my one issue preventing it from getting 5 stars is simply because it makes it a little more unwieldy and difficult (though certainly not impossible) to use for room scale.
