I love that each end can swap to connect to almost anything.
Lightning, USB, USB-c to USB-C
Well armoured and power delivery 27w & 65w shown on yellow ends.
A decent length as well. Certainly going in my bag for travel & work
This cable is amazing i absolutely love it however i have noticed the iphone attachment does fall off very easily when using the c port cable but overall amazing worth the money
These cables are great, very flexible for charging different devices. Data works well also. As the adapters are captive it means you don’t loose them or need another box to keep them in. I’m just back from holiday and it was the only cable I needed to charge phones and cameras. Combined with my wireless charger I also used it to charge my watch.
So far, 1 week of daily use, this cable has been great. It’s well made, nice design, nice quality of materials with all metal connectors including the yellow sleeves at the ends of the cables. I have 2 iPhones, one with lightening connector and 1 with usb c and I have a usb c and a standard usb socket in my car, so either phone can plug into either socket with just the 1 lead.
This cable arrived in a cardboard and plastic tray packaging that kept it in perfect condition, the box highlights the main features on the front and goes into more detail on the back of the various wattages you can expect in the different combinations.
It’s a well-built flat cable with all the usual bells and whistles that you find on quality cables such as a nicely braided sheath, robust strain relief and compact metal connectors that fit into most recessed ports and cases. The connectors themselves are good quality and fit snugly into the intended devices without an issue, and I’ve confirmed that the cable works for both power and data, at least for USB2.0 speeds. It’d be nice if it could handle USB3.0 but at this price point you can’t really have everything, and it is advertised as a 480 Mbps cable.
It does what it sets out to do very well, which is providing four different combinations that will be ideal for people who need a power and data cable for USB-C and Lightning based devices. In use, it only takes a second or two to switch the ends of the cable using the attached cable adapters. In testing, it has had no problems going from powering my 8th gen iPad at 5V2.4A to powering my PD compatible devices like the Steamdeck with 40–50 watts.
Of course, it should go without saying that the cable will only be able to supply 65 watts of power if both your device and charger can accept and deliver that amount of power.
The only minor complaint I have is that the adapter pieces don’t lock out of the way when they’re not in use, they’re just kind of left loose to flop around on the connector housing. It’s a little irritating having to deal with it moving around if you’ve got it plugged into a handheld device while charging it. For static devices it’s not a huge deal and if you don’t want to carry a bunch of different cables or separate adapters the benefits outweigh the cons.
For the 8.39 price at the time of writing I can’t really fault it, especially as it’s only really a quid or two more expensive than cables of the same specification without the adapters.
