Au moindre bouton effleur, les Joy-cons sortent de veille et cherchent se connecter une console. Impossible de bloquer ce phnomne. C’est pourquoi, lorsque mes Joy-cons sont rangs avec ma Switch dans l’tui de cette dernire, aprs une semaine sans les utiliser, je les rcupre souvent presque vides. Avec cette boite rigide, on limite grandement le phnomne: plus aucun bouton n’est pouss et les Joy-cons tiennent nettement plus longtemps sans se dcharger.
This case makes the joycons more portable, as they don’t snag when you want to throw them in your bag. I’ve not found anything better for gaming on a laptop on the go, and then I just throw them in this case, and they can go in a side pocket. The magnetic clasp is in a nice spot between strong hold, and not feeling like it’s breaking the plastic, and I like the rubber insert, stopping your joycons rattling around.

This is a fabulous protective case to store your spare Nintendo Switch Joy-con controllers in.
It’s made from a tough clear (and sparkly speckled) plastic and has a hinged lid with a magnetic closure. The inner base is made from silicone which stops the controllers from jiggling around in the case.
I like that the controllers will fit in the case even with thumb grip covers attached.
Perfect for travelling too as the case isn’t too big and bulky but still feels very robust.
It not only looks great, but is practical and well priced.
This is a clear plastic case from the TiMOVO Store for the Nintendo Switch controllers.
The case lid opens out so you are able to place both controllers with attached wrist straps inside the case.
As the joysticks on both controllers are positioned in different locations the top of the plastic case has been made to accommodate this with its moulded shape.
When both controllers re placed in the case they fit perfectly with the wrist strap coming through a cut out hole in the bottom of the carry case and can then be closed keep the controllers dust free and together.
Overall this is a brilliant idea if like me you have a tendency to leave the controllers disconnected from the switch console after use and can be put in the case to be kept safe for their next use.
There’s a gap at the bottom which allows air in, air = dust not 100% dust protection, but a good case that prevents damage if need to travel with 2 joycons or 1 pair. It has plenty of space to fit the laynards too, and has a soft silicone material base inside, which is removable.
A decent enough magnet to hold it closed, but I would still prefer fully sealed with clips on top of a magnet. Then it would be more dust proof. In fact to be 100% dust proof you would need to seal the bottom off then vacuum the air out of it. Quality is actually good, the only reason I took a star off is the gap open at the bottom, which lets dust in.
The JoyCon storge case from TiMOVO does a decent job of keeping your JoyCons clean and safe when they’re not in use. The magnetic clasp on the case is actually really strong which will prevent it from opening whilst in the bottom of a bag for example. As a result your JoyCons should remain protected at all times.
The case is also pretty compact but I have to say I feel it could benefit from a couple of small improvements. Firstly if you’re planning on storing 2 JoyCons with their strap fixings then it’s a bit of a squeeze – so much so that it took me a few attempts to be able to close the lid. If there was just a bit more room in between the JoyCons that would certainly help. That said, once the lid is closed, those strong magnets do a great job of keeping it closed.
Without the straps however the JoyCons can move around a bit as they are only being held in place by the thumbstick touching the lid. This isn’t the end of the world but the design feel a bit lacking here and could almost certainly be improved.
All in all the case does do what it claims and therefore is a decent product overall.
What you see is what you get here. This is a sturdy and thick plastic box with contours and hollows that perfectly fit a spare set of Switch controllers. I’m reliably informed by my boys that you might indeed want a couple of spares in order to play a 4-player game.
The case has strips of silicone on the inside and these make effective non-slip surfaces that keep the controllers from rattling around.
It is held shut by magnets, as illustrated in the listing pictures. These are not especially strong and the box is easier to open than I’d have expected. I’m sure it’s better than throwing them individually into a well-used schoolbag though.
