I used this product to flush the brakes on a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. No brake fade or other issues. Only complaint is that its much cheaper to purchase brake fluid of this grade locally. Supertech Dot 4 at Walmart is less than $10 a quart compared to almost $17 for this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI did some research on Triax before I ordered this. I was not going to risk one of the most important systems on my car, the braking system, to some inferior product even if I was getting it at no cost through the Vine program.

Triax has actually been around foe a number of years. Prior to 2014 they strictly custom formulated automotive fluids for commercial and military use. In 2015 they started marketing their products for general consumer use, as well.

If the military speced these products for use in their equipment, I’m sure it’s fine for my daily driver.

This fluid is both DOT 3 and 4 compatible, is fully synthetic and made in the US. I did an overdue brake fluid flush of a Ford Escape without issue. The brake fluid and braking system have been performing normally.

This is a quality, American made brake fluid.

This is a hard one to really review but it feels to the fingers like a good viscosity and I haven’t noticed any issues at all with it’s use. Really is a good price for Mercedes fluid.

The most important thing about this product is that the price is very good, better than what I can get at even the discount retailers. It seems to work fine. Keep in mind that the usual shelf life of brake fluid is one year once the bottle is opened. If you don’t expect to use one quart within the year, you might be better getting a smaller bottle so as not to waste money. Also, DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluid are compatible with each other, but DOT 4 has a higher boiling point. In normal, everyday driving, I don’t think it matters which you choose. However, I got the DOT 4 in this larger quantity because I use them in my street and off-road motorcycles and change the brake fluid often. I ride my dirt bikes especially hard and in extreme conditions that include long downhill descents. My brakes can get hot and need the higher boiling point that the DOT 4 brake fluid offers. I am satisfied with this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs a retired professional mechanic, I still work on vehicles as needed, especially brakes and other common maintenance systems. The largest neglected items on a vehicle are belt, hoses and batteries and the biggest complaint is noisy brakes. I personally have five vehicles and then I work on and maintain other vehicles. I have to have fluids and product on hand as I can’t be running to the parts store every time I need something.

This fluid is the DOT 4 which is compatible with the lower grades and what I use in everything I service.

It’s a good product at a good price delivered to my door.

    Five Stars * * * * *

I used this in my F250 that I use for pulling and it works well, just like the old fluid that I have in it. I do not notice any difference between this brake fluid and the other brand brake fluids that I have used in the past. Would consider this identical to other major brand brake fluid formulas as there is no brake fade or pressure loss, it also doesn’t feel hot when I touched it after some heavy-duty braking.

Seems to be working great for my old motorcycle. Changed out front and rear fluids and this looks and works so much better. Quality and feel is as good as store bought and more expensive fluids. Great product for price.

This is the real stuff right here. You don’t have to have a race car to put the right kind of brake fluid in. Never mess with your brakes. Only put in the best.

heres not a lot to say about it. Its dot 4 so its well suited for motorcyles. I flushed my system on my bike and filled it front and back with this and it works just like it did before.

This is a DOT 4 brake fluid which is compatible with DOT 3 and DOT4 brake systems. Our Ford Flex requires at least DOT 3. DOT 4 is the same except for a higher boiling point, which is good. At this point I have only topped off our brake fluid, with no problems. In better weather I plan to flush the whole system with this new fluid. There is more than enough in a 1-quart bottle.

This appears to be high quality, made in the USA, brake fluid. 1 quart will be more than enough to change out the brake fluid on both my vehicles. I’m looking forward to putting it to use.

DOT 4 approved brake fluid, made in USA, and priced well. This product has a slight straw color. Here in the northeast it is common for brake lines to rust through, so I keep a coil of 3/16 ni-copp line and fittings and some threaded unions on hand. The Mastercool hydraulic flaring tool is outstanding. A Motive pressure bleeder with the appropriate adapter does a nice job of purging the air from your lines, and also makes quick work of periodically replacing your brake fluid. 5 stars for a quality brake fluid.

This synthetic brake fluid is suitable for DOT 3 and 4 systems. It’s made in the USA and meets or exceeds the various Federal and SAE specs. There’s no risk of contaminating your braking system with a foreign product that may have questionable quality and performance. You can use this brake fluid with confidence.
The packaging is typical, an opaque 1 quart bottle with a foil seal. It is not a thin or flimsy bottle, although it is softer around the middle as these bottles usually are.
I’ve included photos of the back of the bottle for your reference.

I just used this to swap fluid in my 2016 Charger Scat Pack. It went fine, it’s brake fluid, and there isn’t a ton to say. Brake pedal feel is about the same as before the swap (which is good).

Minimum wet boiling point of this fluid is 311 deg F according to the bottle, and I’m not sure why the product listing says 270. 311F is standard for DOT 4. The dry boiling point when new is 470, which is better than cheaper options, although some of the competitors are higher.

Overall, it works fine, and I have no complaints. It seems to be quality stuff.

Great size bottle for your system, more than enough for an entire fluid swap if completing a brake job on your truck. Full Synthetic that will work great with most DOT3 or DOT4 brake systems. Good Stuff!

I have a friend that came over one day and asked to borrow my brake fluid to top off theirs.. Guess what.. It never came back.. Surprise surprise.. Well, since my back up bottle disappeared, and this came up, I got this as a backup in case I need some.. Well, since I have never run into a bottle of bad brake fluid, I will just assume that it is going to work fine.. and now.. YEA.. I have a new bottle to put in my trunk to replace the bottle that was “borrowed” that was never returned.. Yea.. Thanks for reading..
