It does the job. I like the ability to set the pressure target and automatic shut off when pressure reached. It’s compact so easy to store. It does feel quite plasticy but for occasional use don’t see this as a problem.

This is a tyre inflator with 12V DC connection. It works well. Looks plastic made and not super sturdy. Lightweight. Is corded and comes with an integrated cable which is around 3ms. Does the job. Can be kept for urgent needs.

I loved using this, so quick. The only problem I had was I only had the electrics on of the car and that made my car battery die. So in future I will leave the car running. But I still loved it. It was excellent value for money. Easy to use. I would still recommend buying this.

Easy to use. Replaced an old one that had no automatic shut off. It’s bigger than it looks on the site and would be better if the tyre tube part folded into the body for compactness but otherwise it does the job well. Bit noisy but aren’t they all. Fits in Glove compartment. Would recommend.

This inflator arrived in a cardboard box with three adapters, a spare fuse (20A/250V) and a rather poorly translated English manual (from Polish, I believe). The fuse is accessed from the front of the cigar lighter plug (see pic).

The manual is OK to follow but refers to a non-removable lithium battery which isn’t fitted — I popped the case off to check (see pic).

After some confusion as to why the thing wouldn’t turn on without being plugged into my car’s cigar lighter socket (due to the fact that it *doesn’t* have a battery…), I was able to navigate the controls, set the unit to PSI and my target pressure to 32PSI. Triggering the ‘on switch’ commenced inflation. The pump started up and was quite noisy with engine running but quieter (and slower) with engine off. It didn’t get too hot in use for 4 tyres.

The electric lead is about 9ft/2.8m long, which is plenty to pass through windows to get to all four tyres but not go ‘around’ the car from the outside — you could just add a cigar lighter extension to do this, I suppose.

The pressure lead is barely 15cm/6″ long so if the valve is at 12 o’clock, the pump will dangle by its Schrader clamp — not ideal…That said, it only takes a minute or so per tyre to add 5 PSI or so.

So, the unit works well and does the job quickly.

    Pros :

Works well as a basic air pump
Pump cuts off when set pressure achieved
Seems robust enough for occasional use.
    Reasonably priced

    Cons:

    (Too) Short pressure lead
    (Too) Short power cable
    Confusing manual

In Summary, a good basic pump which sure beats manual pumping

4.0 out of 5 stars Good basic Tyre Inflator with some minor shortcomings

I have noticed lately that there is a trend towards the leads on these things getting shorter, I guess back in the good old days when you had to use your foot to pump away for 10 minutes to get your tyre back up to the correct pressure you needed a decent length lead so the pump could sit happily on the ground. One could argue that the old fashioned foot pump is still the best option.

This seemed to work fine, and it stops at the set pressure although I have to assume for now that the pressure it states is correct. The one issue I noticed is that after using this to put about 5 PSI in a rear tyre of my trusty old Volvo with the engine not running the car gave me the battery low message so I world advise keeping the engine running while you use this.

I did not have the instructions with me when I tested it and I worked out how to use it by guesswork so its not a complex thing to use. At the time of this review it is priced at 13.00 which seems OK, but I am only giving it 4 stars because I’m a bit worried about its drain on the battery and to be honest it feels a bit lightweight which some may see as a positive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works but a bit battery hungry

Quite impressed with this little device, considering it was under twenty quid. Simply plug into your cigarette lighter (left my car running while using it), press R then again to convert to PSI. Set the PSI you desire then attach the hose to your tyre. The current pressure of the tyre then reads on the display, press the button on the top to activate the pump. After reaching the desired PSI it cuts out, job done. Pump isn’t exactly quiet when running but it inflates the tyre fairly rapidly. Mine went from 23 to 32 PSI in under a minute. Perfect if you’ve a slow puncture or simply checking your tire pressure before a long journey. Ideal for keeping in your car. Very pleased, recommended.
