I love this Magsafe car mount! The magnet is very strong, it holds my phone securely, which gives me peace of mind while driving. The air vent connection works well with my car air vents (the horizontal slat style) and the design keeps it from shaking or falling, even on bumpy roads. I have no worries about my phone falling off at any point. The design is sleek and compact, looks good in the car and doesn’t take up too much space. Great product.
The magnets are strong, so my iPhone 14 stays put, even on bumpy roads. I was a bit sceptical at first about how well it would hold, but it has been rock solid.

I’m a big UGREEN fan and have a number of their products – all of which are great. They deliver quality products at an affordable price and this MagSafe phone holder for the car is no exception.
It has a solid mounting system and attached to the vent of my 2009 BMW 320D without issue. Once attached it sits firmly in place without moving.
The magsafe head is rotatable and poseable and can be locked into place. The magsafe element is the right amount of power where it holds my phone but then also allows for easy release when required. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it has no issue in holding into my phone even over bumps or rough terrain.
If you’re after a quality product that just works then look no further.

This is great:
– Adjustable hook with fine-grained tension with the screw. No spring nonsense – it stays put.
– The magnets are sturdy, your phone sticks well.
– The holes allow for better cooling of the phone so it can do GPS and charge well at the same time without overheating…
– … and you can have the fan/AC straight from the vent.
A slight con is obviously that vent isn’t as adjustable anymore.
The product appears well-built, easy to install, and adjusting the phone’s position is equally effortless. When it comes to car phone mounts, you want them to be compact, easy to install and use, and this product ticks all the boxes. I should also add that once the phone holder is in position it stays there and does not move or shake while the car is in motion. The metal hook extending from the mount has a fairly good length however the product description mentions that this product would not be compatible with circular air vents though so check that first before making a purchase.
Once the phone is attached to the magnetic head of the mount, it stays firmly in position too. In fact, I find it slightly challenging to remove it from the holder. While the metal ring is currently securely attached to my phone case, only time will reveal its ability to withstand the constant pulling force required for phone removal. For now I found that doing it quickly is the best and effective method for separating the phone from the mount.
Product comes with one magnetic ring so if you want to use more than just one phone with this phone holder you may need to purchase additional magnetic rings separately.
Like all Ugreen items I have tried and or bought, this Air vent mount is very well made.
It is very simple to fit.
There is a collar you turn to extend the hook & it can extend to 35mm.
Stick it through the air vent on to one of the slats and turn the collar the opposite wat to get it to clamp.
Fitted in seconds and holds really well.
You can adjust the angle you need whatever you are using.
Whether its a mobile phone or a small tablet or anything you decide to use, it should work well as the magnet takes a really firm hold.
Ugreen make very good products and this vent holder is well worth the price.
Not my first vent mount so I can compare to another one I own.
What I noticed straight away was that the magnet mount itself, is held by 2 not 3 positions, so when detaching your phone it can tilt/wobble a little.
Whether this will be a weakness long term I can’t comment.
Phone mount is securely held in place in the vent with a ratchet design, nice and stable and fits both our vehicles vents.
Magnet strength is good and the face of it is smooth so you can easily rotate your phone to landscape while still being held securely.
Very easy mount to live with, much better than the traditional cradle ones.
UGREEN Air Vent Car Phone Mount – I like that is well made of good quality materials, not heavy unlike other car phone holders.
The manufacturer used premium materials as you can see the vents holder is made to last.
The phone holder is using MagSafe technology. Not sure how well that will work when you go on a bumpy road.
Was easy to put together and the magnet seemed strong enough during my test.
The entire most is made from plastic. As plastic goes it’s okay and feels pretty solid. My iPhone 13 mini attached to the mount with a strong magnetic bond and was unlikely to fall off. Compatibility with phone without inbuilt Magsafe (or similar) connections is provided with the inclusion of two metal rings that you can stick on to your device. These I really like, made from metal with a brushed nickel like finish. They really made the mount itself look rather bland. Its vent mount so compatibility with cars will vary. They fitted my Honda with no problems however they would not fit in the vents of my other half’s Citron. Overall, a robust vent mount which will perfectly functional just looks a bit bland and generic.
Perfect for iPhone users or anyone prepared to slap one of the two supplied adhesive metal discs on their case or phone back, this is rather a stylish-looking phone holder. The extending rear arm has a hook to lock onto the rear of your vent slats and is covered with plastic to minimise damage to the vent. The locking collar that winds the arm in and out has a nice, click-stop action and feels nicely done. I’m less keen on the removable collar that sits against the front of the vent as it has no silicone padding on it at all. There is a silicone face on the central circular section but for stability and potential damage reduction I prefer to see it on the collar too.
The head of the holder is very stylish with its ring shape and central horizontal centre section wearing the UGREEN logo. It mimics the look of a steering wheel which is clever. Also, the open design lets a little more air through when no phone is attached. No real effort has been made to stylize the front face other than adding the brand and there’s no soft finish to protect a naked phone back. The magnets seem as powerful as any I’ve tried and the grip is very secure with a MagSafe case or bare phone.
Once fitted it felt very solid and stable and looked good if a little sober and “functional”. No points lost for that. In all it’s a really good holder that needs just a little more protection for the front of your vent louvres as I’ve seen on other holders. Excellent value with the current offer.
