This is a 120mm case fan. It’s a standard size that will fit almost any case and is versatile enough to be used as an extract fan or inhale fan.
It’s easy to mount and runs lovely and quiet. The design is great for pushing much more air than a standard fan and helped with cooling when i was running games on ultra settings.
Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful
My husband finally got around to fitting this fan in his PC, he has had other items made by upHere and has always been happy with them, this fan is no exception.
He tells me it fits well and is quiet and it’s a good price so we are happy.
This is quite a good fan, particularly for the price. It fits 120mm mounts and has a standard 4-pin PWM connector. Running it up in a PC case, it’s quiet and does not appreciably add to the noise of the fans already installed. The white construction needs to be matched to the right case, obviously, and a black version would have been my preferred choice, but the fan works very well, and I would be seriously tempted to go out and get more from this manufacturer.
I also found that the connecting wire is quite generous, which always seems to be a gamble with these fans, depending on where it needs to be positioned in the case. I tried this fan in various positions, including at the very top of a tower case, and it connected up fine. Of course, it depends on your motherboard, but at least with a good cable, you stand a chance. Seeing as the cable length is not mentioned anywhere in the literature, I thought that I would measure it, and it comes out at 57.3 cm from the base of the fan to the connector, or 58.5 cm including the connector.
The cushioning feet work acceptably to minimise vibration coupling between the fan and the case, which is a blessing. I actually quite like that this fan does not come with an accompanying multi-colour light show, as I find it distracting. I much prefer to have a fan that, like this one, is just designed to push air through the computer case, quickly and quietly with no fuss.
For the price, exceeded my expectations.
I was expecting a cheap fan but this feels quite premium and is quiet.
It’s not quite as good as my current fans but they cost significantly more and to be honest, would be happy with these too. They are much better than the defaut fans installed on most PC cases.
PWM worked with my MB no issue
I’ve got several upHere fans installed in my computer after having previously reviewed them, and left them in there as they are just as good as my previously installed Noctua fans, and this one is no exception.
Having tested this for a solid two days in my prebuilt HP Omen 25L as a exhaust fan by the CPU – it works great in the small amount of space it has. I’ve noticed marginal temp drops compared to the stock fan, around 1 to 2 degrees at best. Any temp drop is good. Virtually no sound emitted from it.
I’ve taken it back out, as my PC is an all-black build, but it will be going into an all-white or black and white build coming up soon once I actually decide and get the motivation to swap from the stock HP Omen case to the NZXT one I have sitting in the corner.
As soon as you see upHere you know you are getting top quality.
I have a system with 9 fans in and needed a new 1. This is a great replacement as it’s the same as my old fans so just a quick replacement.
Very nice fans.
Gets 5-5.
Really nice fan, better than the corsair ones that came with my case.
The fan has good, thick, cushioning feet on each corner and comes with mounting screws. Has 4 pins and is a PWM fan as advertised. Well-made in general, really.
Incredibly quiet, and great value!
Had many previous products from upHere and have had no issues with them, this is no exception the fan looks good, and has no issues with the 4pin pwm header on my mobo with a z690. It will also work on a 3pin header.
Comes with 4 black screws that are not the biting type so they just screw through the plastic, but wont damage the case holes.
The blades are equally spaced and are of the static pressure type as opposed to the full airflow type, see fan blades being close to each other. Does give off a little yellowish color on the “white” pads on the edges however so if that bothers you, i’d replace the pads. otherwise it is fully white, except for the pads.
