USB C to VGA HDMI Adapter, KOZYC 4 IN 1 USB-C Hub with HDMI
USB C to VGA HDMI Adapter, KOZYC 4 IN 1 USB-C Hub with HDMI, VGA, USB 3.0, 100W PD, HDMI VGA Splitter Extended Display for Dual Monitor, Compatible with MacBook Pro/Air (MST For Windows Only)
This product is built well with sleek brushed metal. It is quite small and very portable, so it is a useful dongle for shoving into pockets or backpacks. It is simple enough to install, just plug the HDMI end into the HDMI cord and the USB C end into the USB C device. It also performed as expected, converting USB C to HDMI. At the price of $14 at the time of purchase, it works well enough and is a good value.
This worked fine for the HDMI port. I could not get the VGA to work, and that is likely a function of the computer I have (Surface 7Pro) but had the information in the ad been more clear, I likely would have been able to figure that out before I ordered it.
Bottom line, this will not work for a Surface. The HDMI part works well and was easy to set up.
I wanted something travel-friendly and small to plug in two monitors and this is perfect. It has all the ports I need and small and fast enough for anything I need. I like how compact it is and so far I didn’t have any issues with it.
I love this little adapter. I use it to connect my two external monitors to my notebook PC while at the office. I love that I can leave the monitors connected to the adapter when I wish to take the PC home.
Having the additional USB charging port is also handy while at work. Space is a little tight on my and I have limited receptacles. This makes it easy to keep my phone charged during the day.
There really isn’t a lot to say about the product. It works well and is very easy to connect. The small size is perfect for traveling should you need it on the road.
I use a lot of these adapters and keep them handy in my kit for conference presentations. This one works just as well as I could expect on my Macbook pro 2021 and several 1080 resolution screens I have tested it with, on both VGA and HDMI connections. Power passes through the usb-c port for charging. There are no screw holes to hold the VGA connection, which for most uses isn’t a shortcoming. It interacts well when I run multiple screens, and if you run two1080 screens off both connections, you get two good clear images (of the same feed, of course, not independent screen images). USB connection fits right (others can fit poorly). Some other adapters I have tried (and returned) show an unaccountable blurriness — perhaps it is reduced resolution, I am not sure, but it is not pretty, when I see it. This one doesn’t have that problem. It checks all the boxes, at least at 1080 resolution, for me.
