This is such a great concept – a cute, soft ball pit contained within a cuddly cow and with attached play devices. The cow is made from soft fabric and when you open it out it creates a pop up ball pit with no hard structures in it. If the baby or toddler sits back against the softly padded rear section of the product it helps keep the sides more taut, otherwise they tend to flop in a little.

The ball pit is small enough to make little ones feel safe and secure. The age suggestion for this product is 9-36 months but I think it is more likely to suit up to 18 months comfortably, and possibly 24 months max, depending on the size of your child. It’s great that the plastic balls can be stored within the head of the cow when not in use.

As well as the ball pit, this item has lots of additional fun elements. It has a teething toy and a mirror attached, a removable piano toy, and it has crinkly ears and squeaky horns, all of which also help to stimulate babies and toddlers and improve their cognitive and motor skills. The musical piano toy can be removed so little ones can play with it outwith the ball pit and it will definitely still be played with even when they’ve outgrown the ball pit. It has tunes, speech and educational activities, and the keys light up, so there is lots of stimulation.

This does look very cute and colourful and it’s very different from other baby ball pits. It certainly looks impressive if given as a gift and it’s reasonable value at just under 50 but I feel it’s still quite a high price point.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun for littles

This is of the quality you would expect from V-tech. I got it for my 18m old nephew and he really enjoys it. My sister likes it because it is easy to pack away and move around, and she loves that the balls can be stored away in the cows head, which also means you don’t have to get them all out at once if you don’t want to. There’s plenty for the little ones to discover such as crinkly ears, squeaking horns etc then of course, there is the musical piano, which is detachable so can be used separately or attached to the cow.

All in all, this is a fantastic activity centre for young children and for my 18m old nephew, it is the perfect size. 5/5

This is truly a fully interactive experience for your child. This activity centre comes with an interactive piano style learning interface. All incorporated and eventually fun looking cow. Everything looks to be very well made, and well stitched together. Particularly like the fact that it’s doubles as a mini ball pool. You can guarantee your child’s we’ll have hours of fun while using this. The only thing I would have liked to have seen, would have been some kind of harness. That said It is a very enjoyable toy, that children just love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interactive experience for your child.

My partner’s son and daughter in law have twin babies who love this ball pit although when one is inside it the other is upset. Whichever one is inside doesn’t want to get out as it’s so much fun.
It has a lot of activities including the balls, squishy ears and horns on the bull.
There’s a small electric piano included which needs two AA batteries although these aren’t inluded. The ball pit is relatively small so probably only suitable for kids up to about a year but the piano should be fun for older kids — mI’d guess up to about three years old.
The overall quality seems very good.

Time of review this is at 49.99, kinda expensive for what it is, altho its from a well known brand whos quality is userally really good.

Age says 9-36months… my boy has just turned 9 months, he is average size..and altho he fits good in the ball bit part, there is some room for growing but id say to 24months and thats pushing it.
However the toy piano part that is attached via to velcro straps, yea sure..that up to 3years, quite like that its small and detachable as can take with us when baby in pram.

The cow, its great quality, and soft but durable.
The head is a storage bag for the balls, pitty the body (ball pit) dont fold n store into it too lol… but the ears are crinkly feeling/sound and the tiny horns on top are lil squeekers, my boy loves these…so does our youngest dog

Balls (there is 30) are of good quality too, dont easily crush…baby seems to love trying to knorr on the orange ones

Also has some dangly toys, 1 a mirror other a big teether fish.. hard for him to get to, when seperate but when linked together on one side he can play with better.

I really like this as my lil one seems to love it, and it tires him out alot!
I would recommend this… i just think the price should be a bit lower.

4.0 out of 5 stars Price could be better, but thumbs up for this

A great toy from Vtech that works perfectly.
Plenty of space inside, not too big or small to make the baby feel trapped.
Tons of safe and engaging activities to do inside.
I cant see any baby not wanting to be in here for hours on end!

The VTech Baby Moosical Activities Ball Pit, 30 Colourful Balls.
The activity ball pit is very good quality and nice material. It is interactive with nice colourful balls, Removable musical piano, it also has crinkly ears and squeaky horns, a detachable textured carrot and detachable mirror. The Cow design is very cute, who doesn’t love a cute cow lol
You will need 2 x AA batteries for the piano to work these are not included. It is for ages 9months to 24months +.
My new granddaughter will love this at Christmas ( she will be old enough then)
    Great gift idea

I got this toy for a friend’s 9 month old baby, and she absolutely loves it. I would say that in my opinion it would not be suitable for the older age range as a ball pit (9-36 months in the description) as the part they sit in isn’t all that large to accommodate a much bigger child. It’s a lovely plaything for the younger age range however, as in addition to the 30 coloured balls to play with, the cow has crinkly ears to pull and squeaky horns to squish, plus the teething attachments on the side, and of course the musical piano – that does need two AA batteries, which are not included. It folds up relatively small when not in use and the balls can be stored inside the head.

I got this VTech ‘Moosical’ ball pit for my 14 month old, and he really likes it!

The cow design is very cute, and the ball pit is a good size, but without being too huge!
There is a teether and mirror already attached on the sides, you also get 30 colourful balls included, plus the piano toy. The piano can be attached to the back of the cow’s head, with 2 little Velcro straps, or it can just be used separately. Just to point out, you do need 2 x AA batteries, plus a screwdriver, for the piano to work. So that’s something to think about, especially if you were gifting this.

The piano is a great toy on its own, there are 2 volume settings, and 3 modes, with lots of lights/sounds/phrases for your little one to enjoy. (watch my video)

A really great design feature for me, is that if you don’t want all the balls out, then they can fit in the cow’s head! There is a Velcro flap opening at the back, and they do all fit inside, although you have to be a bit careful, or they can pop out the sides! It makes storing everything away really tidy and easy, as the cow is soft and squishy, and with the balls secured away in the head, you can fold the whole thing down fairly small. (see my photo)

The only reason for my 4/5 stars, is because I personally think this works better for younger babies. VTech suggest 9-36 months, but I think as soon as baby can sit up well unaided, then this would be fantastic!
My baby boy already looks quite big sitting inside it, so I think up to 36 months is a stretch.

Overall though, I’m pleased with it. Great quality and design, like you expect from VTech, and I didn’t think I’d have space for a ball pit, so this is a great alternative!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for Younger Babies!
