I was pleasantly surprised by this little backpack! The 12L capacity is just right for a day hike or quick adventure. The material is lightweight and breathable, and the straps are comfortable. The design is simple and functional. My only complaint is the zippers can be a bit finicky, but overall it’s a great value for the price
This Waterfly Small Hiking Backpack 12L is just perfect for daily activities where you do not need a huge backpack to carry around. It is quite spacious for 12L and can fit a surprising number of items because of the carefully thought out design. Lots of pockets, comfortable padding and reinforced seams and also whistle for emergencies! Very impressed with this item and looking forward to using it for a long time, would highly recommend!
Last weekend, I took this compact backpack out for a brisk walk along the coast. The main compartment held everything I needed without feeling cramped. The additional pocket was handy for quick access to smaller items. Comfort was paramount during the hike, and this backpack didn’t disappoint. The padded back and shoulder straps eased the load, which was noticeable on the longer stretches of rough terrain. The chest strap added stability, helping the pack stay snug against my body without shifting, even when climbing over rocks. It was a relief to carry a pack that felt like it was part of me rather than a cumbersome add-on.

The finish and quality are great at this price. I’ve had more expensive backpacks that weren’t as good a quality as this. Again, padding on the straps and back exceeded the price point imo. All the clips and buckles also of the same quality. I can get my insulated lunch bag inside, water flask in the side pocket. With clips inside for keys, inside sleeve and an inner zipper pocket for valuables this is a well made day pack, much better materials than I expected at this price point. Exceeded my expectations. Very happy.
You receive a very light weight small rucksack, it comes folded in a plastic bag.
This is only a small rucksack, 12L isn’t big, you’ll not get a laptop in this bag, mobile phone, yes, tablet, as long as its a small one.
Not sure if the bag is waterproof doesn’t mention it anywhere, but has a water resistant look
Does seem to be well made, feels sturdy.
Some padding on the straps, or within the bag, thought it was okay to have on.
An ideal bag for hikes, its small enough not to get too heavy and plenty of space for a drink, snack, map, phone etc.
Overall a good rucksack.
We got this backpack for my Daughter, it comes with a high pitch whistle for emergencies, it is loud as she demonstrated for us, not outside but in the kitchen, so now our ears are ringing. It is 12 L in size so not a huge backpack, but large enough for a day trip out to keep snacks, drinks phone etc. The colour is great, a nice light green, with a pull cord weave at the front of the pack. I would highly recommend this backpack.
