I’m photo enthusiast! I love holiday photos, party photos, selfies and photo bombs. This frame is not only stylish, but also innovative.
You need to connect it to your WiFi.
Then you download the app where you can upload the photos. The best thing is that you can share the code with family and friends and they can upload the photos to your frame.
It can be great solutiom for grandparents who work far away, or parent in the military.
The resolution is really good and you can even upload videos with sound. (Sound is basic but you can turn it off). If you don’t want to connect to the app you can upload photos via micro SD card.
Great innovative idea! I love it. I would buy again and I would recommend
I hope my review and photos were helpful

Unfortunately the touch screen didn’t work. It powered on but its functionality was limited due to this where the screen would sporadically work with a hard press. I didn’t dismantle it to try and find out why but I presume a dodgy or loose connection somewhere was the cause of this issue!

This smart frame has totally won me over in showing the many cherished family moments in one versatile package. The digital frame is straightforward and offers an active slideshow to catch many memories as I leave, enter, or walk by in the house.

The smart frame with much relief proves to be closer to an actual frame than a mere landscape tablet. The device has a neat white border around the edge and comes with a stand to have this standing-in landscape view. The frame has a power cable, and I can confirm this must always be plugged in. Setting up was extremely straightforward by simply plugging in and following the on-screen instructions. The frame initially offers the option to download the app and send over photos. While this is possibly the most convenient means to showcase photos immediately from a smartphone, I was soon faced with the requirement to sign up for premium cloud services etc. to gain greater access to store and view photos. Fortunately, this frame does come with in-built 32GB storage. This means you can skip past the web services and feed photos/videos directly to the device. Strangely, the frame does need the power cable to be plugged in before connecting the frame to a computer via USB.

Once connected to my laptop, the task of transferring photos to the frame was as simple as copying and pasting. I was impressed to find the images immediately showed up as I transferred and noticed I could even send over videos if desired. The gallery was soon loaded and I was ready to place the frame back on display. Since placing this in my corridor, I have come to cherish many forgotten memories and taste some nostalgia! We’ve placed a series of old family photos and pet pictures and we catch many of us in the household catching a few seconds glaring at the photos that pop up.

You could say it’s a smart frame that keeps giving. The large 32GB onboard storage, simple transfer process and clear display puts life back into old images. I think this could be a wonderful gift to aunts, parents, grandparents and more who can find a better means to show their proud family pictures.

What you get in the box is the Frame, a foot – which is the stand, and a power lead.

The frame is designed to look like a Black Frame with a White Mat/Mount. The Foot is magnetic and just fits into a square slot on the rear. Its offset from the centre and doesn’t appear to be that robust, especially since the frame has a touch screen, so it will get pushed and poked a bit.

The frame can also be wall mounted as there are keyhole slots on the rear. However, keep in mind that this is not a battery powered frame and has to be connected to a main supply for it to function. So if you intend to hang it on the wall you’ll have to figure out how to get the power to it.

In respect of power, you get a power plug that delivers 5Vdc to a socket on the rear. In some respect it would have been better if this was a USB C connector rather than the dedicated pin plug. This would have offered more choice in power supply.

Edit: I’ve since discovered that you can power it without using the included mains adapter, just by using the USB C connector. Inadvertently I connected it to my PC without the mains power being connected and it sprang to life. This means you could use something like a USB power bank to power it.

There is a USB C connctor on the back but this is only for use in connecting to a computer to download images to the frame. Only Windows and Linux appear to be supported and I couldn’t get my smartphone to connect via this, which would have been convenient.

There’s a TF card socket on the rear in which can be used to download or backup images from the internal 32Gb memory.

The major marketing point is the Wifi Capability which enables it to connect to the internet and hence the possibility that other people – that you invite – can add their photos to your frame. These days with many people sharing photos via social media or apps like Google Photos, it begs the question of who would want this frame feature when a lot of people have tablets or smartphones anyway.

However, there may be some who want to use this feature but in order to do so you need to use the Frameo app and have an internet connection. To me this raises the issue of security and privacy and its not something I personally want to allow. I did though see if it would connect to my router and it did straight away.

It will nag you at first to connect to the Wifi and Add friends using the App. If you don’t then you’ll get a couple of nag messages when you next switch on the the date and time is incorrect and the wifi isn’t connected. You can easily dismiss these.

Another missed opportunity would be to allow Wifi Direct so that you could send photos to it without having to run the app and send them via the internet when you’re only a couple of metres away from it.

Anyway , I connected it to my Windows 10 PC via the USB C connector and found the frame in Windows Explorer. I could then transfer photos to the frame. It supports Jpeg and a couple of other formats but not Raw. I also put some images on a TF card and inserted that. It copies them to the internal memory – a bit slow in the process.

The images displayed are very clear and sharp. There are limited options in how they’re displayed. Fill Frame or not. If you chose Fill Frame you’re likely to lose some of your image as it doesn’t resize them. If you don’t you’ll get the whole image but you may get black bars or a blurred background where the image doesn’t fit exactly.

There are no transition options for the slideshow. You can manually advance an image as well as set a time period for the display. Pinch Zoom and Pan also works. Supposedly it will play videos but only about 15s in duration.

All in all its a good quality screen for displaying your images but I personally wouldn’t allow it on my network, so I’m happy to transfer images from my PC manually.

    This is an amazing gift.

I have placed this frame at my mother’s house. We are a big family and this frame is great to enable us all to share our photos with her. She absolutely loves it and it’s wonderful to see her get excited when new photos are added to the frame.

As a photo frame, it’s excellent quality and looks really nice. It has a modern, look about it and the screen is top quality too. It’s not too thick at all and blends in nicely with the other photo frames. There are options for displaying the photos, you can fit the photos to the frame or fill the screen with each photo. You can view the entire gallery and delete any photos you don’t want. I’ve given all of my brothers and sisters the details to sign up and start sending photos, and once signed up, it is so incredibly easy to share photos. The frustrating thing for me is that if I want to see what photos are already on the frame, that others send, I have to pay a small subscription; we would all have to subscribe separately, which is 7.99 for the year. That’s relatively cheap of course as we can also back up the photos to the cloud, with a few other benefits included. However, even with the subscription, I can’t manage the photos remotely. If for example I upload the wrong photo, I cannot then delete it. I have to access the frame directly to do that. That bit isn’t so good. Everything else is spot on though and I love the way it all works together.

When you upload a photo, you select the area of focus for that photo. You can then use the frame to zoom out to show all of a portrait photo or a section of it. You can set the speed of the slideshow, or simply slide through each photo manually. You can play videos with sound, and you can pinch to zoom in and out of photos displayed in screen. You can add a small caption to the photo and the name of the person who uploaded the photo will appear with that in the bottom left of the screen. Top right shows the time and weather, which you can switch off or on.

This is a simply brilliant product. It’s lovely to see my mother’s face light up when she sees all of the photos showing. It’s great to when a new photo just gets posted up as well, like a surprise treat. Although not cheap, it’s worth every penny to bring the level of joy this does. It’s excellent quality, looks really good and works well. It plugs into the mains and is not rechargeable; completely understandable why it isn’t, as that would bulk up the sizes of the frame and a battery wouldn’t last much more than half a day anyway. It’s wall mountable, in portrait of landscape, or stands up using a nifty little attachment for the back. It beats the old digital photo frames of the past and injects life into this idea, making it an option to consider for your living room or bedroom. A definite 5 star recommendation from me. Just improve the phone app and remote service a little and it will be perfect.

I have just had a good play with the 10.1-inch WiFi Digital Photo Frame, and it’s actually pretty decent!

The 1280×800 IPS display is bright and clear, so photos and videos look great from any angle, even if like us, is long, you can still grasp an insight at an oblique angle.

It comes with 32GB of internal memory, which can hold around a pretty awesome 80,000 photos, and you can add more storage with a micro SD card if needed – which means I can quickly and easily cope them from my android and transfer them across in a jiffy onto this tablet.

The Frameo app makes it super easy to share pics and videos with friends and family, and I am able to invite up to an oddly very specific, 512 people to join in.

One feature I quite like is its ability to automatically rotate the portrait/landscape aspects of each photo so I dont need to go through my entire album pre-editing the photos in preparation for this photo frame.

I like that it also supports music, video, has my calendar and clock all in one place, so I dont have to pop over to my phone or the Samsung fridge/freezer tablet screen to find an alternative source for the info I require.
It also has an auto on/off function, which is super convenient.

On the downside, the setup process can be a bit confusing at first, and the touch screen isn’t always as responsive as I’d like. Despite these minor issues, it’s a versatile addition to the home or office and a great way to keep connected with everyone and have all your favourite memories in one place.

I’m a professional photographer so digital photo frames are very much my thing, this one is pretty good but annoyingly slow to setup and use, but it is worth the wait.

    Pros
    10.1″ size
    32gb internal memory
    Plenty of settings
    Landscape or portrait mode
    Touchscreen
    Wi-Fi/phone import option
    Plays photos and video

    Negatives (pun intended)
    Sloooooow setup and importing
    Short power lead
    TF Card port is fiddly
    No UK time zone
TF card is only for importing to internal memory

The frame itself looks superb, I liked the neutral Black & White colour and contemporary styling which looks good in most locations, it is constructed with good quality plastic and easy to clean.

There is a small plugin stand included which is magnetic and you can position it for Landscape or Portrait orientation and the display auto-rotates accordingly.

The power plug is a bit too short to be practical for wall mounting, it’s a shame its not USB so you can’t extend it yourself unless you cut and splice the cord.
The TF card port is really fiddly and the card sits inside a bit too far which makes it awkward to remove.

Setting up was cumbersome, the boot-up was slow and the touch-screen was a little unresponsive at times, also the auto-rotate cancelled operations such as downloading the update, then I was offered a HUGE list of time zones but there was no UK (GMT 0:00) option, really?! Eventually I got to the actual photo display function but it did not recognise the TF card photos, it turns out you have to import them to the internal 32gb storage, this was annoyingly sloooooow….. I was only importing around 3gb of photos and it took over 5 minutes which made it the slowest import of any of my kit.

Eventually I was ready to go and this is where it felt worth the effort, the display is bright and sharp and despite the resolution only being 1280×800 it looked superb and the colours were vibrant. The slideshow was a bit slow by default but it was easy enough to adjust via the settings menu. You can choose whether to have time/date/weather overlays but they are quite discrete so I left them on (despite the wrong time zone).

The settings menu offers plenty of options and mostly makes common sense to tweak things to suit your tastes. There’s an option to import your photos from your phone over Wi-Fi but it appears you need an App so I didn’t bother with that option.

    Overall Conclusion
This digital photo frame was pretty good once you’ve waded through the setup and slow importing, it looks superb and the display quality makes your photos pop out perfectly, the 10 inch screen is one of the highlights and the 32gb storage is very generous.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slow to use but looks great when you finish
