I admit I was dubious about whether this adaptor would work well for the price. However, my fears were unfounded. The adapter works absolutely perfectly; it starts and connects quickly and then doesn’t miss a beat. The attached USB lead is just long enough so I could tuck the module beneath the head unit with the lead plugged into the front panel connector.
On my experience, I’m very happy to recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving decided I wanted to purchase an Android Auto adapter, I chose to purchase this one based on its look, and the braided cable rather than risking a flimsy one.
Initial setup was nice and easy. As this requires Bluetooth and WiFi during the setup process, remember to disconnect from your home WiFi and not be connected via Bluetooth to any other device, ie your car entertainment unit, before starting trying to set up.
So, everything was setup yesterday, and today I’ve done a 500 mile round trip. I must have stopped for at least 5 breaks, and every time my phone has reconnected within a few seconds, Android Maps had been consistently stable with no lag, made multiple calls on my travels without issue.
All in all an amazing piece of kit, a bargain for the price!
My car is a Ford Focus mk4, and I’ve put this in the USB port hidden underneath the arm rest, so it can just stay there and do it’s thing!
    Love it, highly recommended.

I can be a bit sceptical when it comes to smart devices being easy to set up and use. However this lives up to the marketing and works from the box. I unpacked it, read the instructions (easy to follow), did what they said, plugged it in and within two minutes my car play was working wirelessly and seamlessly. The little box is neat and unobtrusive, and the included double sided sticky is a helpful added bonus that keeps it in place. Car play now connects automatically when the car is turned on and all the functions work well and with no delay. Delighted with it! Highly recommended.

I wasn’t really making use of Carplayuntil I got this.
I do a lot of short trips and generally don’t plug my phone in to the USB, as I don’t like charging it when it isn’t necessary.

The unit is small and discrete, it was easy to pair it up to my iphone 12.
My phone connects each time automatically, sometimes there is a bit of handshaking going on at startup, but I leave it and generally within 20-30 seconds it is all up and running, & streaming my playlists.

Very happy to have Carplay all of the time now, and I can pick and choose when to charge my phone.

I have already recommended this item to a friend. It’s been two months now, but so far so good.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this as unsure of these CarPlay adapters and didn’t want to spend a lot but to be fair really surprised at the quality feel of it. On first powering up it connected easily to my VW Transporter and functionality is excellent. Turned the van off several times and it connected very quickly each time. Voice calls and Siri works really well. If it keeps up this level of performance I will be very pleased with the small out lay.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersItems looks well made and good quality it includes a usb a to usbc adapter too. Set up instructions clear and easy to follow. Was up and running in 5 minutes. Connected to my Peugeot and iphone 15 so far it works brilliantly. It reconnects on startup without issue much quicker than on a cable.
