Great little scraper/scrubber. The 3 different surfaces (scraper, wire brush and scouring pad) let you handle big chunks then work away at remaining grime. Using with some gloves, soapy water an apron or wearing dirty clothes and you’ll get the job done easily. I used it for a large BBQ that my housing block only brings out from the back of one of our garages during the summer. It tends to build up mould in storage and we usually can’t be bothered to clean food bits off it from the prior year. This made the job much easier than usual.
When I talked about having a barbecue on a rare summer day, I was overruled because the grills especially are so fiddly to clean — that’s not a problem any longer thanks to this fantastic, easy-use barbecue brush. What makes it so good is the handle which fits around your hand so you can use whichever side you need more easily, whether it’s the scouring brush, bristles or the scraper for those stubborn bits of burgers which have burnt into the barbecue pan.
The bristle section was the best part for us and meant that the grill came out shiny, as well as the sides of the foldable barbecue. I just backed up the bristles, the scraper facing away from the pan when I needed to scrape at the corners so nothing was missed out. I couldn’t believe how well it worked and with how little pressure or energy. The handy scourer brushed off any bits which had been released by the scraper or bristles, or just needed buffing up, as well as starting the process to get rid of bits of sausages or kebabs.
Cleaning a barbecue isn’t ever going to be fun but this makes it so much easier and it was safe and comfortable to use thanks to the special handle. It means we already have more barbecues planned, we just need the British summer to co-operate. Highly recommended, 5*
