he sound bar is cute, you can clip on to your monitor or have it stand on the desk. plug in to the laptop and had to pick the output speaker then it worked. to the sound, its not the best, for speech or video its fine but for the music, anything with bass its rubbish. one last thing i like is its load much better then the standard speaker.
At work I have a laptop but the built-in speakers are pretty rubbish. For use with playing some music and also streaming meetings, I needed a better speaker and this one looked ideal.
It is small enough and comes with a spring-loaded clamp that holds it to the screen. On mine, the bottom lip is very deep so I had to put it on the top where it is thinner. It holds in place well though and the long USB-A lead means it can be connected to the laptop quickly. There is also a USB-A to USB-C adapter supplied but this would be better if it was captive to the cable and not an after-thought lose item in box.
Sound wise, I am more than happy with the speaker. It is loud and clear enough for work use and there is little distortion even at 100% volume. There are three control buttons on the speaker too – 2 for controlling the volume and another play button. These feel like part of the unit and are not poor fitting ones as typical in other speakers.
ZETIY USB Speaker Sound Bar
This monitor is just plug-and-play, suitable for those who are technically inclined. It can be clipped on or under the monitor, but I find the clip too challenging to use as it is too stiff, and I’m afraid it can scratch the monitor. It has a basic feature, no microphone or camera, which justifies its asking price of less than 18 quid with 20% less. The user manual is of no use. I had to figure out how the clip works, and I was confused at first as it does not look like a proper clip. It includes a USB C adapter. Overall, the sound quality is decent even when I turn up the volume. Recommendable.
Mostly, in my opinion, this sound bar is just cute.
It is as advertised, you just plug and play and it works just fine on the phone and tablet. The sound quality isn’t superb, but for the price, it is quite good. It is lightweight, easy to use and portable.
I have a little 15″ Arzopa Screen that is on a swing out stand in the bedroom that I use to play the occasional Game on PS or Stream a TV Program. The inbuilt speakers fire off to the side and are really rather quiet .
I wanted a solution that could be removed if necessary & this fits the bill .
The clip on the top is quite Strong and it does distort the screen in the edges if attached incorrectly. So I have clipped it to the holding arm of the screen instead.
It is absolutely “Night & Day” compared to the horrible built in effect but remember …. It”s not a 500+ Soundbar so don’t expect it to sound like one .
If we say it will be better than a Sub 250 laptop then you get my drift !!
Not sure how it would handle the speaker settings when placed upside down as in one of the pics …. How will it know which way up it is to ascertain what is left &what is right ??
Works for what i need it for so i’m happy
Hope this helps …
This is more of a 10-15 sound bar. The sound quality is fine for kids. The dual speakers are great as it feels like it’s reaching each ear individually. You have a few mounting options either around the monitor or on your table. The volume buttons are small but having the option to adjust it that way is a nice feature.
ZETIY USB Speaker Sound Bar, Monitor Speaker for PC, USB Portable Computer Speaker, Mini Soundbar, Small PC Speaker for Phone, Notebook, PC, Laptop, Desktop – Plug and Play
For my work monitor, this gives of sound with a quality that more than meets my needs. For the price point it is certainly decent enough.
It really is a simple plug and play and I think the sound for lower volume computer work will suit most people.
This is a really good mini soundbar for the price – 16.99 at the time of reviewing – and it certainly delivers a nice little punch with the sound quality. Ideal for laptops to get a more rounded sound, it looks good as well, and it can either stand alone, or you can clip it to the top of the screen – which puts it at a better height to enjoy the audio or music.
It[‘s simple plug and play – that’s it, plug it in and off you go, couldn’t be simpler.
5/5 from me and a big thumbs up.
The ZETIY USB Speaker Sound Bar arrived in a retail box inside the outer carton. Inside the box there was a USB cab,e, the speaker and one instructions.
The speaker can be either clipped under a monitor (it didn’t work particularly well with mine), or stood on the desktop, which is the way I have been using it. It was really easy to set up – just plug it in, the computer detects it and it is ready to go. In terms of sound quality, at this price point it would be unrealistic to expect it to complete with a high-end brand, but it’s pretty good. This was not a consideration for me as I just wanted a speaker and didn’t care what it looked like, but when my wife saw it she thought it looked “cute” and she commented that it would probably appeal to children.
This clip-on screen speaker certainly adds more organisation to my PC setup with its desk space saviour design. The clip-on design is a standout feature. It fits perfectly on my monitor, saving a significant amount of desk space, which is especially valuable in my compact setup. The elimination of 3.5mm AUX and headphone jacks means fewer cables, resulting in a much cleaner workspace. Installation was a breeze—just plug it into the USB port, and it’s ready to go, with no need for additional drivers.
The multifunction button is a thoughtful addition. The one-key mute function is particularly useful during sudden interruptions, and the buttons are responsive and easy to access. The stereo speakers deliver loud sound for its size with some good bass but overall sound quality is just okay, good for work rather than music and movies. The modern and sleek design complements my setup nicely. It blends well with the rest of my setup..
This is a great little budget speaker / sound bar. It’s very easy to use, you just plug it into the USB port on your TV/laptop/gaming device or your phone (it comes with a USB-C adapter though not a lightening cable) and it’s good to go. You can clip it to the desk or your device and it holds firm.
The sound quality is pretty decent with both videos, games and music (I didn’t test it on webcams or anything like that) and all are clear and crisp. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of it. You can’t adjust anything other than the volume on the sound bar itself but you can do it on your device and the adjustments comes through fine.
The build quality isn’t the best but, again, for the price you shouldn’t expect Beats quality.
This is a very good little speaker. If you’re looking for something low budget you won’t go wrong with this. Recommended.
I really didn’t expect anything from these mini-speakers, so when I tried them out on my laptop I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is really very good, considering the size and cost – much better than the built in speakers on my laptop. The mini sound bar is portable as well, and fits nicely into my laptop bag.
The speaker connects via USB, and has a decent length cable attached, so there are plenty of options for placement. No installation is needed – the speaker works right out of the box.
Overall, A very good product for the price – slightly tinny, but that is to be expected – and it looks really cute!
For a 10 speaker this does everything it needs to do, The sound quality isn’t the best, but for a tenner its great, fits nicely either under or on top of your monitor, fairly low profile so doesn’t get in the way.
There are 3 buttons on the speaker, one of which is a media button so plays, stops your music or videos which is pretty cool.
They are very light and not the best quality materials, but do exactly what you need to them to do, was surprised at the sound quality.
Easy to setup just plug and play, downside is there is no headphone socket in the speaker, so you cannot just plug in some headphones if you want to game or listen to music quietly if you share a space.
But other than that can’t really complain.
good value, would recommend
The speaker is very easy to set up “plug & play” – I’ve plugged it into one of the USB ports on the back of my monitor. I ordered this because I had 2 conventional small speakers but they kept falling off the back of my desk and stuck in unreachable places (at the back of a cluttered alcove!), where they don’t sound too good. So the fact that this attaches to a monitor is brilliant – it takes up zero desk space and is very difficult to lose! What I didn’t realise is that my monitor screen is curved, so that even though the clip opens up quite wide, it doesn’t fit onto the thick base of my monitor, but all is not lost as I’ve attached it to the side, where seems to be quite happy, as am I. The sound quality isn’t the best in the world, but for the price I’m happy with something I can listen to music and speech on – it’s fine for videos, relaxing music etc. And it looks quite cool too; at the bottom of a monitor it looks as though it’s part of the monitor.
I have to admit I did not expect much from these ZETIY speakers due to the price but they don’t sound bad at all, albeit maybe just a little bit tinny (compared to my current speakers anyway).
Most of the pictures on the store page show these speakers sat on a desk, but if placed like that the left and right are reversed. The main picture that shows the speakers attached to a monitor is the only way the left and right are correct. While I was able to attach them to my monitor I get the impression that they will work their way loose and fall down. This may just be an unfounded assumption and I have not had the speakers long enough to give a definitive answer here.
One of the store images states that the cable length is 50cm, whereas it is actually more than twice that long at around 130cm.
For a ‘cute’ set of relatively cheap speakers they do sound fine.
This small soundbar sure does have loud sound, but lacks sufficient bass, so the quality is quite better than laptop speakers, but not as good as full sized desktop ones in my opinion.
It’s not totally flat, and does have a tiny bit of kick to it, and it can get very loud. There was no distortion or strange sounds whilst using this – music, movies and games sounded nice and clear, EXCEPT for when adjusting the volume in Windows 11. The sound effect for adjusting volume produce a strange distorted sound through these speakers. Only the volume sound effect did this, nothing else.
It came with a USB-C adapter, so out of curiosity I connected it to my iPad Pro and it detected it straight away – I was able to use it like any other speaker connected to the iPad, brilliant!
There’s three buttons on this device, two for volume control and one for play/pause which worked great with my PC and iPad.
The clamps work great on my ultrawide monitor, but I only had the option to mount it to the top of the monitor, as the monitor controls sit at the bottom of my screen and get pressed when this speaker is placed there. It can just be stood up on your desk below the monitor should neither options work for you.
Great speaker for those using laptops with truly rubbish ones, or those with PC’s that don’t have any external speakers. Even those that just want better sound out of their USB-C compatible phone/tablet.
